ABW Sponsors DC Central Kitchen’s Capital Food Fight: Who? What? Wow!

DC Central Kitchen is the nation’s leading community kitchen. By providing culinary training to adults in need of a job, turning wasted food into balanced meals for shelters and non-profit organizations, and providing healthy, made-from-scratch meals to low-income schools, the Central Kitchen is indeed a blessing to the community.

Capital Food Fight

The Capital Food Fight is DC Central Kitchen’s signature fundraising event. With over 1,000 guests attending, over 80 top local DC restaurants, and 4 local top chefs competing in a live battle, this exciting event is one for the books!

The Food Fight takes place November 16, 2017 and is celebrating it’s 14th year. Admission includes tasting at all booths, as many times as you want!

Judging the competition this year will be Ana Navarro, Political Analyst; Adam Richman, TV Personality; Joseph “JJ” Johnson, Chef/Owner of Ingrained Hospitality Concepts; and Ryan Zimmerman, Washington Nationals.

Battling Chefs will be Douglas Alexander, Art and Soul; Hamilton Johnson, Honeysuckle; Bobby Pradachith, Thip Khao; and Miranda Rosenfelt, Sally’s Middle Name.

ABW Sponsors Capital Food Fight

This will be ABW’s second year as an Executive Chef sponsor for the Capital Food Fight. The Battling Chefs will be using Luxury appliances provided by ABW (which will later be sold for a discounted price at our Clearance Outlet, head over to http://www.clearanceapplianceoutlet.com after to get a great deal!)

This year ABW will be hosting a fondue station featuring three different gourmet chocolates and Chambord infused strawberries along with an elegant live coffee bar!
