The extent of Rise’s injuries has been partially revealed. She had to be resuscitated via defibrillation, which means her heart had stopped at one point. Her brain may be dented in areas. The surgeons had to operate on her brain 3 times

You spend enough time around the pop/mainstream media scene and an unknowing fear grows inside of you. Amidst every headline you read, every tweet you scroll past, every netizen post you laugh at, you obliviously worry that one day, you’ll catch a breaking headline that the worst has happened. It’s a constant threat, one you’re never prepared for, no matter how much you open Reddit wondering if today’s the day.

It took a strikingly little amount of time for me to fall head over heels with Ladies’ Code. Their groovy, infectious, unabashedly fun tunes instantly clicked with me. Their Pretty Pretty EP remains my most underrated EP of 2013 and even though fair criticisms were raised against So Wonderful's sound, I loved it as much as I did any of their other singles.

EunB was not my bias, but that changes little in how much of a blow this has dealt. You never quite understand just how tragically brittle life is until it’s taken away. Worse is that you never quite understand how much someone has contributed to your happiness until they’re gone forever. Talented, bubbly, and a pleasure to see perform no matter the stage—I will honestly, sincerely miss you, Go Eunbi. 

My deepest thoughts out to the friends and family of everyone involved in the incident. 

And hey, maybe give the people you hold closest a call. Tell them you love them. We’re all fragile, all of us here for a set amount of time. In the end, spreading joy is what matters most. I’m glad EunB was a part of that for so many of us.

Fellow Lavelies, I unite my heart with yours to mourn over our lovely little EunB's death. Ladies' Code is an amazing group, whose songs make my heart happy whenever I hear them. Just a few minutes before checking my cellphone for news and whatever, I was jamming to their songs. It was very shocking to watch the news regarding my dearest Ladies. Thinking about it, their future is uncertain, but I'm sure that with our love and strenght we may move on and keep fighting. I hope EunB is now resting peacefully in heaven, with no pain or sadness over her. I'm sure she's looking out for her members' health, and wishing everything gets better for them. Let's not forget about Sojung and Rise, we never know what could happen in this sort of accidents. And last, but not least, let's not forget about Zuny and Ashley, who can only watch as this event unfolds without nothing they could do, but be patient and pray for the remaining members' safety. I can't imagine how they feel right now, having experienced a member, a friend's loss. Ladies Code, fighting! ♡ Rest in peace angel! ♡
