did you feel as unsatisfied as me when you found out that there's no Might Gai in The Will of Fire movie? Then this short comic is for you, too lol but first it's for me

set just after Kakashi fell under Hiruko's genjutsu, the scene is the one where he's leaving the village. Instead of Naruto, I've imagined Gai as the one who tries to stop him - and just briefly, he's somehow able to do so. Ahh the power of love.

I drew this for Passion Week!

It’s my best attempt to portray the “heat and hunger” between them.

I can’t imagine exactly what their romantic life is like — it feels like they’re just goofing off like kids all the time, so unserious together — does anyone else get that?

But I truly believe they share that closeness. There’s just no reason they wouldn’t.

Also, I used Japanese onomatopoeia because I wasn’t sure how to express it in English —

ドキ (doki), ドッ (dot) = heart thumping, just in case you’re wondering!
