so it seems the problem was the staff provided a 2021 fanart (by lanjiujiu) to Sie Nanahara (the Ho-oh artist) without double-checking if they were allowed to use that fanart at all
Is this happening to anyone else with the immersive rare Lugia???
#pokémon pocket#the easiest way for them to get out of that trouble is asking lanjiujiu (artist behind the fanart) if they allow Pokémon Pocket team to use#their fanart (and credit lanjiujiu next to Sie Nanahara ofc)#but it seems they want to completely replace Sie Nanahara illustrations instead?

#pixel art#pokemon#pokemon tcg#gameboy color#photoshop#mawile#card gb#only 6 colors#I tried with 7 colors by adding a lighter grey to the dark areas#but not a fan of the result so I sticked with 6 colors#also the background is significantly different due to the original artwork having a messy unclear background#so now it's in nighttime#on a rock in the middle of a pond surrounded by pink trees#and the moon is pink too because I can#edit: oh yes Klay great idea to change the background#next time make sure the light makes sense with the model

digivolution conditions not set in stone (especially for Tsunomon>Gabumon, not sure if 50+ in all stats at this stage is possible)
#digimon#vpet#personnalproject#godot#while doing the video#I realized some stuff were off (leaving options when in sleep state or digimon not calling when stamina was at 0 for example)#they're fixed for now#current objectif is to have a text when getting stats/items/etc#(currently the Arena adds a win and a tournament win)#(and the Versus adds a lose and removes all item boosts (not coded yet))#ah and there's no battle animation nor minigame to get more stats than just +1#it's planned but far from done (if I'll ever do it)#also if max stage on this roster is 6#the max supported is stage 8

#digimon#vpet#personnalproject#godot#the pink poop can be cleaned#which now means I have to move to the big part: raising pet code (and figuring out how to make animations with a spritesheet on Godot)#which means the next post update will be in a long time#and then “only” minigames will remain (fighting being part of it)#ah and the options and the saving feature#apart from adding a “all green backgrounds” option and sound control idk what options to put though
