BIG SCARY ALPHA
No, this WASN’T what he expected to have happen. Then again how could he predict how several young wolves were going to act when drunk? Either way, this was no excuse to him and they would hear from their alpha later. Right now he had more pressing matters to deal with. She was his MAIN concern right now, checking to see if she was okay after whatever harassment they were doing to her. One look at her just showed how terrified of the situation she had been. Will had seen her SCARED around him but this was something else.
The apology wasn’t necessary at all, it only made him look at her with a caring and worried look. “You have nothing to apologize for.” He QUICKLY corrected as she stood up before him. From the looks of it she was physically okay which was a start. “What matter is that you’re alright.” He leaned down a bit but knew to keep his distance without scaring her more. “You are okay, right?” Since he couldn’t SEE everything, it was always best to check with her. “It’s my duty as the alpha to make sure everyone in my pack is safe and punish those who deserve it.” His gaze shifted to look down the path they ran.”And they WILL be given a punishment.” A glare as he could still hear them running away. A sigh left his lips before turning to look back at Jolly. “And you can call me Will, remember?” A soft chuckle accompanied his words. “That’ll be easier to say I THINK.”
Straightening his stance, he motioned for her to follow. “We should get you back home.” Last thing he wanted now was to let her walk home alone. There was a chance the other males would come BACK and that was a risk he wasn’t willing to take. “I can stay a bit back if that’ll make you feel better. Just don’t want you walking by yourself AFTER what happened.”
Jolly had come into her share of trouble before. Not exactly like this and not as aggressive. She’d run into some of it in college, boys getting to close, touching her without permission, it was something she was used to. Jolly had never experienced it like this before. Not from her own pack. She’d never felt safe in a pack. Not after her parents were killed, she’d always felt crowded, like she was being watched, like there was something standing behind her over her shoulder at all times. But when she smelled him coming, she was surprised how much relief she’d felt. She struggled to her feet, shaking and frightened as she eyed her Alpha. She shifted from one foot to the other, though she didn’t really know what else to do.
“I-I’m fine, A-Alpha.” She lied. Badly. She was not fine. She was shaken to her core and she didn’t know what to do other than to try and pretend she was. She kept looking around, hoping they weren’t coming back for her or if they were just waiting for him to leave....no matter the question she had no answer and she was terrified as she jumped at ever small sound.
-----I-I’m sorry, A-Alpha to be any t-trouble. I-I won’t do it a-again.” She insisted as she kept her head down, shaking from head to toe. No matter her fear she wouldn’t insist on bothering him. She could out run them. This time she didn’t because she was dumb enough to trust they would run off. If she came across any more trouble she’d just run for it as fast and as far as she could. She’d change if she had to, she was much faster in her wolf form. “S-Sorry A-Alpha.”
