After hissing "where is it you dumb bitch" at myself for longer than I'll admit, I've finally decided to invest in a proper cd storage box for my ND Games.
#Nancy Drew Games#Clue Crew#Clue Crew problems#to be clear#with the exception of KEY and maybe MID which I think are still in their boxes#they are all in things that were sold as CD cases#but not good ones#and unorganised#and just sorta open#ten year old me with no thought that HER might or the games might go extinct was happy to store the games on top of rotting apple cores#I also might have thrown out TOT#just realised#and might have breakdown because I had the bonus version#oh well#I'll find it#maybe#idk#I'm moving and a lot of stuff in my life is not where I'm used to#but anyway#little me cared not so some of the disks are not in the best shape#but they must persevere#because I use my old laptops until they literally die#currently using two laptops because I'm in a two year transition period#nothing works on this one#but I don't have the patience to transfer my files#or maybe I did transfer my files and I forgot#I'm a really poorly organised person#gonna go play some ND now

Happy America Clue Crew!
Now, can one of you explain why my brain categorizes the Star Wars Prequels and Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon in the same box?

what's in nancy drew's bag?
I think it's cute that Nancy took the brick with her after she broke out of prison.

omg I just remembered that before @i-shouldnt-steal and I played TRT, which we mostly consider our first ND game, we actually had SHA but quickly got stuck and never finished it because we were so young.
in fact, I was so young that I didn’t care about the plot or the mystery or the horse or the puzzles or anything but this particular arrowhead

I was just obsessed with it. It was so pretty to tiny me. I would be like “Anna make your cursor the pretty arrowhead” and “Anna go see if we can find another pretty arrowhead in the shed” and “Anna don’t turn in the pretty arrowhead we have to keep it for us.”
Pretty arrowhead, I’m sorry I forgot about my infatuation with you. I love you, pretty arrowhead.

It’s rocked
It’s shocked

It’s smocked

It’s squawked
It’s stalked

It’s just like. Her Interactive says that the clues as to who Clara’s father was are in the game. And that it may have influenced Charlotte’s death. And then there’s a letter that says Charlotte was obsessed with Jackson and that that led to her demise. Like literally what else are we supposed to think.

me trying to do the letter counting puzzle while Lamont is audibly suffering, loudly sneezing more and more violently with every minute that passes, and it’s been like a half hour because I keep losing count of the letters

Blackmoor Manor can't have escaped renovations to the point of not discovering the secret passages from the "Uninitiated." You're telling me not one person in the lineage of owners wanted to start knocking out walls and combining rooms or building a master suite with a jacuzzi tub and walk-in closet only to delightfully discover more square footage available with those passageways? No one in the past thought the secret ways were servants' corridors and put extra entry points through the kitchen and dining room and did away with the puzzle doors.
Mrs. Petrov says the rooms look like they were decorated by a medieval monkey, and we agree there's no cohesion in the design of the house and its rooms. Yet no one's spouse got it into their head throughout the years to remodel anything. And still the puzzles and passageways all function perfectly after centuries.
Is there some safeguard in the inheritance that only generations of an initiate have legal cause to make structural changes and thus protect the secret? Is there another guild like the Bossinny tutors who are surveyers and builders for wealthy people who like to have panic rooms and secret passages in their houses and are sworn to secrecy?
