i edited my video quite a lot but still used the same footage, i wanted it to fit in with what Eddi has done and not look out of place, its still very different to the kinda cartoon duocolor eddi has created. i like how it has turned up both the sounds and the vision is abstract and unique. I think it would be better if the close up of the wool was unrecognisable making sure you are not recognisable

I made a little edit for the second half while Eddi works on the first half, Eddi sent me some footage to use but i ended up using a micro scope to get incredible close footage of surfaces, i really liked the footage as it looks very detailed, a bit like space and i thought it was an appropriate to the sounds i have made. i will still tweak it, you will have to skip 2 mins. I dont really like the green paint mixing with the weird diamond effect on it, i will change

I have been playing around with the composition and finding new sounds to fit the piece. I think it has worked well, its quite monotonous and it help create a atmosphere that wouldn't happen if it was really complex. its tense and eerie  but also calming. I like the change throughout the song from bright to dark. At the end i added sounds nasa have released from rockets and spaceships> The first half is epic and the last half kinda scary

some spooky sounds i kinda want to copy. I think i want to make some dark hum and i have a idea how to make it.

My partner Eddi made this and i like the complex yet simple form. The over lay makes it complex and the toned down simplified colors fits the sound at play

i slowed down lots of the sound and re arranged it. it sounds very spacey. i want the vibe but i want it to be more intense

Nasa have released recordings or space, i think this is in line with the theme of the sound. i might sample some and edit

its getting better i think, i am finding the right kinda sounds and i like the slow build up, this is one of my favourite pieces. i still want to master it which is getting the volumes perfect and other final touches to make it better. i found out these are called power chords in the first bar

thinking about our project as a installation led me to Janet Cardiff and the idea of being immersed in the sound. this could be something i look at but i think my very abstract piece would like to be shown anywhere at any time and if i specifically made a sound instillation it could only be shown once for real but something abstract shouldn't only be shown once, the fact you could watch it anywhere on your phone or laptop means you can watch it in a abstract space and that the space you watch it in could be anywhere is abstract in its self and it will always be slightly different, making it unique to anyone.
