Reblog if you’re open to improvisational rp and just “winging it” with threads
Whether it’s the first interactions between the muses so the chemistry is still up in the air and it’s still unknown as to whether or not they’ll click before potential plotting, or the muses have too much minds of their own and run wild the moment you set them loose in a thread, plotting is hard and occasionally your pre-planned threads jump the track and go in totally different directions than anticipated thanks to the muses’ creative differences. Reblog this to let your rp partners know that you don’t mind simply jumping straight into in-character interactions and threads.

+ Is there something you can do that no one else can? Ghadius remains quiet for a moment. He takes a moment to reflect, his lips tightening with a familiar bitterness. “I would propose that... I can understand.”, he finally says. “I understand this world possibly better than anybody else. I understand the necessity to face the darkness within ourselves and the darkness within our dreams. I have seen true despair, but it has not swayed my beliefs.” +Do you stick to tradition or do you like to explore modern ways of utilizing magic? “I am unfamiliar with what is ‘tradition’ and what is ‘modern’.” Ghadius admits, “I have been gone for a long time, longer than you can possibly comprehend. A lot happens within these times. If I wish to be modern...” He pauses, gazing off into the distance. “...I still have much to learn.” +How does your muse react to possibly dangerous situations? Do they face them head-on, or do they plan out their actions first?
“I assume you mean some form of ambush? A sudden threat?”, Ghadius muses, raising a hand to his chin in thought, “Take for example that distant dream and his companion, the Prince... While I could have opposed them directly I preferred to take my time to plan things ahead instead. I do wonder where my errors lied, if Joka was not quite fit for the task, or if it was my own mistake.” He scoffs under his breath. “I suppose that gives you the answer you seek.”

(Google translate was used in translating the above survey.)
Mojipittan Encore was just released in Japan (April 2nd). The last few questions of the game’s online survey ask users if they know about Katamari Damacy Encore (Katamari Damacy Reroll), Mr. Driller Encore (Mr. Driller DrillLand), and what other games you’d like to see get the “encore” treatment. This final question is most important in letting Bandai Namco know you’d like to see Klonoa Encore released. You can type “風のクロノア” or “クロノア” for this question.  Since this is a survey for a Japan-only game, it is recommended you type any short answers in Japanese.
The product survey is open from April 2nd until June 1st 2020. Users with a Bandai Namco ID can take the survey; you can sign up here. The survey is NOT region locked.
You can take the survey here. Good luck!

Lephise’s words were quite odd. The nightmare king hadn’t thought that the Songstress would be so casual about her own selflessness, offering her something so great for nothing at all. It seemed foolish, like Lephise had begun to blindly trust him, believing that the spirit had changed and somehow was guaranteed to never harm Phantomile again.
Being harmless, unfortunately, wasn’t within Ghadius’ intentions.
Ghadius inhaled a soft and silent gasp as he reared back a little. As much as the dark spirit didn’t want to display his mild surprise it was easy to tell. His lack of features made him both impossible and easy to read.
“I... If you’re certain, Songstress.” Ghadius spoke softly and lowered his head with respect.
Had Lephise forgotten everything he had done to her? The risks he had placed Phantomille in for the sake of such horrific deeds? Or perhaps, there was more to this. Either way, Lephise seemed set and focused, whatever she was trying to achieve, and nothing was going to stop her.
Perhaps she had known a hero, like that boy, would come to change fate. Perhaps the wheels of destiny spin in her head, and she merely follows through. But she seems too open and free-thinking for something like that. She could not defend herself, should things go south quickly. She wasn’t afraid to stand in the face of danger.
And now she wanted to perform to him? Surely this sort of singing would take a lot of energy out of her. “Ahh, you are very kind, but you needn’t worry about my energy. I am a Songstress after all. In fact, I sing almost every night, to the people below. It helps those who are troubled fall asleep. If anything, I do invite you to watch how it’s done. Consider it a front row seat.”

It seemed so strangely peaceful.
Here he was, standing next to the very woman he’d taken hostage and practically tortured. She seemed to have forgotten about it all, looking at Ghadius with a sense of mercy, perhaps even a platonic affection which was something that the dark spirit hadn’t felt in such a long time. It tugged at him, tore at him. What was this pain that was consuming him? Was it guilt? It was a miracle that Lephise was still here today and unharmed. All thanks to that unseeming boy...
That’s when Lephise offered her song to the nightmare king, who’se head snapped to glance down at her in a moment of surprise. It was an unnerving, quick motion, easily signaling his surprise that the songstress would even consider. Singing... all for him?
“Don’t strain your voice for my sake, Lephise.” Ghadius responded solemly, “You’ll need it for when the time comes to reinvigorate Phantomile. You have done your deed. It is the least I can do in apology, to let you rest.”
The dark spirit smiled patiently as she answered, nodding in his head approval.
“That is good to know.”
He spoke softly, and turned back around to watch the distant kingdoms. No doubt he longed for the old days, seemingly begging for them to understand. From how it seemed that they would never, especially now that Ghadius had finally snapped, giving them a seemingly false impression of the entity. He said nothing more, simply enjoying the view. Either that, or he stared silently in resentment.

It seemed that this particular dimension had a Ghadius that was strangely understanding. He seemed to listen attentively to the wind spirit even if he was obviously rather annoyed by him. Even though their meeting hadn’t exactly gone well Savili’s words got a rather unexpected response out of the nightmare king.
“Thank you.”
It was all that Ghadius had said for a good and long moment. It seemed that once he was calm he could be rather civil. Of course he obviously wasn’t on friendly terms with the wind spirit, though he was polite. He obviously didn’t have conflict or harm in mind. In a way Ghadius sounded tired. Exasperated from the world around him. Perhaps he was simply too mentally exhausted to waste his time getting all too angry or upset. It was a little sad to see.
As Savili pretended to make his exit Ghadius returned his stare with an equally as neutral one.
“Oh, what a tragedy. It appears that my hands are tied,” the spirit spoke in a falsely mournful tone. “If only I could cease this abhorrent event before it occurs.” Briefly, Ghadius even broke the playful charade, “Have fun.”
klngofdarkness‌:
The dark emperor had calmed, the deep breathe he took helping in regaining his silent and neutral demeanor; the way Savili knew him. Well, if you’d think of the Savili from this world anyway. His hard-to-read and polite demeanor was a little unnerving, especially since the Ghadius that Savili knew was a lot more emotional and expressive, even unhinged at times.
The spirit found it interesting how much Savili reacted to his words. Did he really not expect Ghadius from holding a grudge after everything, even when he was caught-red handed with the attempt of plunging Phantomile into darkness in an act of blind revenge? Oftentimes Savili was still like a child. Back then he found it charming deep inside even if he annoyed him often. Now he felt nothing.
“Thank you for understanding.” The king spoke, raising his head a little, “I can tell this is difficult for you. I had not expected you to listen. I appreciate it.” Ghadius paused and thought briefly about Savili’s rant. His words immediately brought a chuckle out of the spirit, who repeated them, “Bright light-bulb looking moron… I find that adequate.” He complimented, “Is a little prank worth getting into trouble for you, Savili? You know how he is when he is angered. More unpleasant than I for certain. I feel that it would upset the people of Phantomile. We wouldn’t want you to be cast away too, now would we?”
The wispy figure quietly listened as the other spoke. Was Ghadius really… taking this well? Not throwing any of that back in his face with a taunt? He really didn’t expect that, and had to wonder if the Savili the nightmare king knew would be as understanding as he is. ‘Difficult’ was a bit of an understatement, but the wind spirit had to keep it together. Don’t lose it here, not in this unknown world that’s so much like home. Wait till you get back home.
“Sure… Any time… You know I still care about you even after you had your big tantrum. Call me whatever you want, but it won’t change the way I feel.”
Savili would repeat back what the dark spirit said moments ago, with a playful smile. Indeed, the rather quiet and calm demeanor was something he was used to, but not to this extent. The wind spirit can’t read his emotions as easily, and it was a little… scary? No. But it was still unnerving. But so far, it’s been more pleasant than a few moments ago. The wind spirit couldn’t help but wonder how long it would last… And.. ah, the moon spirit’s anger… he couldn’t help but cringe.
“Don’t worry, I know exactly how he gets.”
Exiling and imprisoning one’s own brother to a world alone where they lose their own mind is rather frightening. Cold, even. But at the same time, so is being yelled at and berated for 'turning their back on phantomile’. Or even worse still…
With a blank stare towards Ghadius, Savili arches a brow and starts to float away. A deadpan sarcastic tone comes out.
Tumblr media
“Oh no… I’m… out of control. I’m going to go do something I’ll regret… You better stop me.”

klngofdarkness‌:
Ghadius could hear the disappointment in Savili’s voice. Of course. Being trapped for so long warped his expectations. The mental image of the other spirits celebrating his disappearance stuck in his mind, much like a memory. Sometimes he still genuinely believed it, as much as Savili’s apparent sorrow appeared otherwise.
He’d humor him though, raising his head a little to look down upon the wind spirit as he vented about the situation. Why did he still believe that this was something that could be fixed? He wanted to feel like Savili spoke the truth, but he felt empty, like the other just blew hot air. He took a soft and deep breath, “This happens when you put somebody into power without being able to stop them.” He spoke solemnly, “Call me whatever you want, but it won’t change the way I feel. Perhaps I’d begin to believe you if you, for once, started listening to me like you should have since the very beginning. I doubt that we’ll be able to restore what has been lost though. I admit I am much too bitter. I have held a grudge for eons now and I do not think that I’ll be able to let go anytime soon.”
There was another pause as Ghadius was lost in thought. “My memory of you is a lot different from how I see you before me now. I suppose I forgot over the years that you do more than just… fool around like a jester.” A small chuckle escaped the dark emperor, deep and yet soft. “I don’t even remember ever seeing you angry, let alone say such a miserable word.”
Of course, Savili wanted to believe that all was well. That nothing was wrong. He tried his hardest to bury any memories of the event. The event that he hated so much. He wish he could have done something more. If he had, would things be different today? It was something that can easily be fixed! It can all go back to how it used to be! It had to, right?
                                             How wrong he was.

“….. Oh …”
The wind spirit’s mood visibly dropped more and more as Ghadius spoke. All of his false hopes, crashing down around him. He can’t recall if the dark spirit back home had ever tried to reach out to him or the others, before ‘it’ happened. And if this is how this dark spirit felt … it was more than likely that the Ghadius he knows feels the same. An almost panicked look came over him as the spirit frantically searched for a memory, any kind of sign that he might have missed back then. Any sign that the nightmare king was trying to each out, but was dismissed. He couldn’t remember, and he hated it. It’s hard to let go of thousands of years of denial, after all. And so, after a moment of silence, Savili drew a long, shaky breath and out came an unusually strained voice.
“R-right… That’s… that’s fine. I don’t expect you to– well… I don’t blame you.”
The spirit let out a soft, rather bittersweet laugh at being compared to a court jester. That’s not the first time he’s heard something like that, and it’s ended up lifting his mood. Though only by just a bit.
“Am I wrong though? I thought we were all on equal standing, but nooooo everyone just looooooves the bright lightbulb looking moron the most.”
He’d mutter the last bit to himself, but just a tad too loud to be considered a whisper. And then he paused, his face shifting to something mischievous.
“Speaking of fooling around… where is the nearest mural of ‘everyone’s favorite spirit’? I just want to check how… ‘stable’ it is. Against ‘the weather’.”
Just what kind of not-so-lighthearted prank could he be concocting, now?

For someone who’d been alone for 3,000 years Ghadius could sure be compassionate, or was this a farce?
“If there is anything that I want beyond what I failed to do it is simply to prevent any innocents from suffering my fate.” The spirit spoke thoughtfully, “You have it all, Lephise. You just need to reach out and take it.” With that Ghadius glanced ahead again, out at the world that had cast him away.
“...Speak to me, Lephise...” He began after a little while, ending an awfully peaceful-feeling silence, “...If I asked you, would you sing for me?”
“Is that so?” Ghadius asked quietly, glancing at her for a good moment before looking ahead again. “I’m sure you wouldn’t be shunned if you came to visit. People love you. I do not know the story of that statue of your person carved into stone, but it shows how much people appreciate you.” Poor Lephise. Why was she wasting her chance to dance around with the others? She was as blissful as they were, but yet she was lonely. She chose to be. What was the point of it?
The songstress could hear Ghadius exhale softly. He simply remained quiet for a good while, staring out into the distance. He’d probably sought her comfort, even if he’d never admit it.

“Is that so?” Ghadius rumbled, looking towards her again. There was a drawn out silence between them after she admitted her fear of becoming dangerous. She was right. To an extent he had used her capabilities as well. Especially he knew that if danger was to come upon Phantomile only Lephise would be able to restore it.
“There is not much that I can say that would help your situation, Lephise. It can, indeed, be dangerous, but I do not want you to live here like you are inside of a cage. I am dangerous too, Lephise. You should be the one being to know this best. I want to see the world, but I cannot.” The spirit cast an almost sorrowful gaze at the songstress. She could just feel this emotion off him, even if she couldn’t quite read his features. “However, you may. Do not waste this chance, Lephise. Take a walk. Be accompanied by guards if you must, but please do not waste this chance.”
