Black people in the U.S. are seven times more likely to be falsely convicted of a serious crime like murder than white people, according to a new report published Tuesday by the National Registry of Exonerations. The finding is based on an analysis of exonerations for serious crimes in the U.S. over the last four decades, which found that Black people make up less than 14% of the U.S. population but account for 53% of exonerations in the country.

Precise Museum Blog Termination & New Website

Hi everyone. So attentive individuals probably noticed that @precisemuseum no longer exists and I am here to announce that we frankly have no idea why. it seems we were terminated after one of our blog team members also had her blog randomly terminated. Tumblr being Tumblr!

It took a while to get an announcement out because I was (1) On a several day long vacation and trying to enjoy time with my family and the sights in Alaska and (2) I got sick during this vacation and (3) I was scrambling more to prepare things for a presentation we're doing on the 21st at the PSP Homebrew Developer Conference (which you can catch here!!!!! I TALK HERE!)

FORTUNATELY! I and Ingu had already taken the initiative to back up the blog when Tumblr started going downhill a few months ago, so we were able to back up pretty much everything and we just need to transfer all of our old posts to our BRAND NEW SITE that we're hosting off of Tumblr! You can still follow us via RSS and send questions via email

(Not everything is available on this site yet as we're still formatting a lot of posts and putting in the correct timestamps!)

TL;DR

Precise Museum's Tumblr and original site is dead because Tumblr is a fuck. We've moved our actual translation content to a new host. Going forward we'll be still sharing updates on @precisemuseumupdates which will be used similarly to our Twitter and BlueSky... We'll also still take questions via Tumblr for inquiring minds. Also Tip:I am so fucking mad I spent like 6 hours yesterday getting everything to a new host so please be nice if there are any mistakes on the new site like some images not loading thank you <3
