Different kind of people on a bus
Since I commute between my home city and the city where my school is, I thought it would be an interesting topic to write about, because I encountered many different people on a bus in case of behaviour.
To begin with, I would like to start with myself. I think I am a pretty solid type of passenger. I get on the bus, find a seat, sit down and listen to music or sleep, not bothering anyone. But there are other kind of people. There is the loud guy, who either talks very loudly or talks to someone on his phone even more loudly. I never understood this behaviour since there are many people around you and you should be quit not to bother anyone.
I can also mention the “stinks from alcohol” guy. It mostly happens on Saturdays and Sundays. If there was a party where you had to take a bus in order to get there and to get home. I understand this and I don’t blame the person, but the fact that we he sits down (and obviously he will sit next to me) I instantly start smelling the typical alcohol smell. And it never goes away, sometimes not even when the person leaves the bus.
There is also the stereotypical (which is actually too true to be a stereotype) old lady who wants to sit next to you, while almost every seat is empty. I honestly respect elder people very much but this I can not bear. I tend to think that this type of people hates young people and thus, they want to annoy us. And they say that they foot hurts, this hurts and that hurts, but the thing is that I am sitting almost at the last row and every other seat is empty, even in the front, but the person must make her way to the back and sit next to you.
Then there is the “do you want to hear my story” person, It is not that annoying but when you are tired, just want to be home and rest in the meantime, the person sits next to you and don’t care about what you are doing he is going to start a conversation about his life story. It mostly includes romances with tragic ending, bad parenting and other sad ingredients. The thing is that it will ruin your mood since you are forced to listen to a sad story. And if you try to stop him, he is going to be angry and might hurt you.
So, a bus journey can sometimes be pretty hard, and you have to be a bit patient and tolerant towards other people. But once you run out of everything and you try do to something like tell someone to shut up, or nicely ask the annoying person to stop doing what he or she is doing, you will be the bad guy for taking actions.

Difficulties of being in a band
Being in a band is a pretty fun thing. But sometimes it can be very difficult and frustrating. Since I am in a beginner metal band called Distorted Fate, I can mention many positive things, but for now I am going to talk about the frustrating things.
We created Distorted Fate 3 years ago, but with a different name (we changed it this year). We encountered many troubles at the very begging. The first thing was that despite having a rehearsal place, we couldn’t do anything because our amplifiers were too small to be able to hear it alongside the drums. So, we had to buy bigger amps. Since they are expensive, we had to start working to make some money. It lasted a few months but we managed to buy bigger amps. It is problem number one solved.
Problem number two: drummers. It is a stereotype in the metal community that drummers are weird. But it is actually kind of true. Our second problem was also related to our drummer. As soon as we bought our amps, our drummer disappeared. He had some family issues he didn’t managed to solve. The results were that his father took his drums and we were kicked out from the rehearsal room. And we also we completely lost our drummer.
Problem number three: other members. This is also a common problem that the other members are leaving the band because of various reasons. A few months after our drummer left, our other guitarist and singer left because they didn’t want to be a part of this. So, the band ended up consisting of a bass player and me on guitars. And since we live in a small city, it is very difficult to find musicians, especially rock musicians. Eventually, we got our drummer back after three years and also managed to find another guitarist. We are only searching for a singer for now.
There are also some smaller frustrating problems. As I mentioned we are in a small city, so we have approximately zero opportunities to take some actions. By that I mean doing some concerts or find a studio. Financial problems are also a thing because this “job” is so expensive. We have to pay for the gear obviously. Also renting a studio cost a lot of money (after finding one), and making an album can end up costing above hundred thousand Hungarian forints. Also agree on rehearsal dates is difficult. Since we all attend to different schools, we have to consider our free times which is different in every case of us.
To sum up this topic, I would say that it is nerve-racking hobby. But at end of the day, we are having a good time getting together and playing and writing some music.

System of a Down comes to Budapest
System of a Down comes to Budapest
Last week’s greatest news for hungarian metalheads was that System of a Down will perform. It doesn’t sound too interesing at first, but if we do some research we will encounter a pretty frustrating story.
System of a Down is an american alternative metal band from 1998 and the members are all armanian. They are a world famous band with 5 studio albums (last record was released in 2005) and lyrics based on politics and the armenian genocide. They have toured all around the world throughout thier carrier but they always missed Budapest. In the mid 2000’s hunagarian fans were upset that System never comes to Hungary and they tried to convince Livenation (a concert organizer company) to somehow bring the band to Budapest or to a festival. There were rumors about System coming to Sziget festival in 2013, but that didn’t happen. And this is where the story starts.
In 2013, frontman Serj Tankian sent a massage directly to Hungary saying System of a Down will never perform in Hungary. The reason behinde this grim statement is the case of the azerbaijan axe murderer. Briefly it is about an azerbaijan man (Ramil Seferov) how brutally murdered a sleeping armanian soldier in 2004 in Budapest during a NATO-sponsored training seminar. In 2006 was sentenced to life impirosnment in Hungary. But the story takes a twist here. In 2012, the government extradited the man to Azerbaijan where he was celebrated as a national hero. Of course the band heard about this and they went furious. And not to mention the fact that Armenia severed all diplomatic relations with Hungary. And on top of all this, protests broke out in Armania.
So it after this story it was clear the we will never gonna see System in Hungary. But as I started this text, last week it as announced that the band will come to Budapest in next year. The only problem is that nobody knows the exact reason why they changed thier minds. But to be honest, how cares?

Different types of teachers
                                    Different types of teachers
In this text I’m going to mention different kindes of teachers that i had in high school            I consider myself lucky since i had realy good teachers back in high school. Actualy they were the best in the school staff. Of cousre there were some exceptions. But let’s start with the pleasent part I consider my history teacher the best I’ve ever had. He was middle aged man with a strict attitude, however he wasn’t unjust. He had a great knowledge and the (for me) the perfect teaching style. He never wrote on the board (because of health reasons) instead he had a ppt for every single lesson and we wrote our sketch while he was explaining the topic. Many didn’t like him beacuse we had to pay attention to multiple things at the same time. But it wasn’t a problme for me.
Tumblr media
On the other hand, we also had our bad types of teachers. For example our chemistry teacher. Even though our chemistry lessons ended after the 10th grade, we realy had a hard time with it. The teacher was an older women how had some bad habits. Like she was a diehard protestant and she went to the church all the time, and if there was a protestant in the class whom she knew that the person is protestant, and if she didn’t see the person at the masses, the person had to write a test. Besides that, she never answerd our questions (maybe because she couldn’t). It was like I asked her one time that when are we going to write the next test, and she literally answerd me with „I ask the quiestions here, I dont know what are you doing”.
With that being said, I think every school has it’s own ”elite” teachers, and the ones that nobody wants to learn under.

The advantages and disadvantages of a music festival
Music festivals are forms of entertrainment mostly held at summers. There are several types of festivals according to music genres (pop, rock, electro ect…). Hungary is famous for its music festivals like Sziget and Volt. These are international festivals by now. And they are mixed festivals so we can see Rihanna and the Foo Fighters and the same place. But for now, i’d like to explain this topic by metioning a rather smaller but a very nice festival, where i have been 7 times by now. Its called Rockmaraton festival.
Rockmaraton is held annually at Dunaújváros, Szalki-sziget. It’s a pure rock and metal festival with mostly 7000 visitors per day (around 40 tousand the whole week) with great bands. As i mentioned, i’ve been there several times and i experienced a lot. The greatest thing in my opinion (which is true to every festival) is that you can meet people there with whom you can hang out or even became friends later. That’s what happened to me. I met a lot of friends during the festival and they are all very kind people.
The other nice thing is that if you go with your friend to a festival to camp there the during the festival, it’s a really funny and somehow challenging activity which can strengthen the friendship (this also happend to us).
On the other hand, one most deal with some annoying things. You will propably encounter drunk people who can disturbe you in many ways, or even people under the effect of some kind of drug. They can even couse you trouble or harm you.
Also, there are the long queues at the toilet, at the places where you can buy drinks and food. Sometimes you have to wait half an hour to get a beer or a sandwich.
With these things being said, i think every music-loving person has to attend to a music festival according to his/her taste at least once. If you can deal with the negative side of a festival and focus on the rather positive sides, you will definetly enjoy this experience.
 Thank you for reading
