Commissions Update

Been going through one of my roughest patches of burnout and artblock ever and really has been impairing work. Making this journal to update and say that I've tried to touch base with everyone who asked for a commission and I've put into queue. I know a good amount of people I didn't contact and that's cause their commissions were far out of scope of what I can do right now, or violating some ToS rules. Wanted to let folks know I'm still trying to work on things and haven't forgotten.

Finally made a splat sheet/size chart encompassing all the regular races of the fantasy setting I've been working on

I was just about to ask for a commission then I saw the fanart rule. Is there a particular reason we can't pay you for fanart?

Short answer: it's weirdly uncomfortable

Long Answer: much like the rule to not doing art of other people's characters without their permission, the same applies to a character owned/created by someone else, even if it's for a larger company. There's just a level of discomfort I have in doing something without the creator(s)'s permissions, especially in regards to a misrepresentation of the source material.

Making an original character in same universe/same species is generally fine as it's far less--well any of those things.

Still on the search for a logistics/merch company, but here's a preview of the shirts I've made prints for. Also if I get things sorted, I can try to make some of these have color variations (like the bellymaw or worm on string prints)
