The King is a very secretive man.

The people qualify him as a "Good King", that he always did what was best. The people don't remember since how long the King has been King. But nobody would complain.

They call him "King", "Sire", "Lord".

As if no one knew his name.

At night, the King summons Caladre in his appartments. He oftens needs to be comforted.

Sometimes, the King feels like someone is watching him in the corridors.

a lot of the knight blogs i follow have scenarios of seeing a knight's face for the first time or otherwise having their face exposed as an act of intimacy and like. i see the vision. you keep doing you. but also. to me the appeal is not knowing what is under the mask. the face could be anything or nothing. the helm is the face. the metal is the flesh. it's something you can recognize as human and yet it's still inhuman. the act of intimacy is not knowing but more importantly not needing to know what's beneath. do you see the vision

Explanation for non Philippino people :

The manangal is a monster in Philippino mythology that my mum used to use to scare the living shit out of me, it’s like a vampire except way worse, it’s only a torso (it rips off its legs every night), it has wings and it’s favourite food are foetuses which it rips out from pregnant women (which is horrific, they aren’t real but they still scare the shit out of me)

Atlas is yelling Ukinam at the manangal which is an extremely strong swear word in tagalog, it’s translation varies depending on context but literally translated (according to my mum) it means your mother’s pussy (ironic cause my mum says it to me all the time)

Jollibee is a popular Philippino fast food chain

Also random note in the universe I’m making in my comic there is an archipelago that’s that’s worlds equivalent of the Philippines, I thought it would be cool to make them the greatest monster hunters of that world cause they have to deal with creatures like the manangal

Princess finds a bedraggled knight wandering just outside the castle walls with no heraldry and a wilted plume (a common sign of emotional neglect in knights) and begs the queen to let her keep him. The queen warns about the dangers of adopting wild knight errants but the princess promises to take good care of him and make sure to keep him away from their domesticated knights until he’s properly adjusted. Queen finally relents once she sees his rusted kit, broken sword, and the saddest brown eyes known to man. Princess claps her hands excitedly and drags him off to the apothecary to make sure he doesn’t have worms.

Happy Pride Month everyone! No silence, no retreat. Fight, protect, celebrate!

You have to be careful with your knight. They’re not used to gentleness, and it might take some time for them to accept it. The first time you remove their helmet, they may not be able to meet your gaze. This is normal. There’s a lot more of you to take in than through a visor, and it can be overwhelming. Don’t expect them to make eye contact immediately. When you undress the rest of them, go slowly. You’ll be forced to because of the very nature of the armor they live in. Make sure you pause after every piece and allow them to get used to freedom once more. It’s especially important for them to breathe deeply once you’ve removed both cuirass and gambeson. Place your hand over their heart to ensure they take a few deep breaths from the chest before you continue. When you are finished playing the part of squire, be sure to give them something else to wear. They’ll feel far too exposed at first. Make sure it’s something light, they don’t need any more weight on their shoulders. Do not be surprised if their hands tremble when you take them. The feel of your hands is a far cry from that of their gauntlets, and it may take some time for them to adjust to the softness. Reassurance is your friend with a vulnerable knight. Encouragement can also aide you, but be cautious to avoid overuse. If your knight feels pressured, they will revert to their training, and you will never know their true self. If it is your wish to have a knightly lover, do not glorify the shell, but rather, cradle the creature within.
