#I hope I’m not overstepping by drawing a parallel#but could this also not be compared to the popular term for trans people at that time was ‘transsexual’ or ‘transvestite’?#how nowadays those terms are seen as outdated and some seeing it as offensive#but back at that point they were the terms that were used#(iirc the institute of sexology was sacked and burned in the 30s the founder of whom coined the term transsexual & transvestite)#(correct me if I’m wrong on that)#if I’m overstepping please let me know and I’ll delete this but it seemed the easiest parallel I could draw that others may understand

im not particularly religious but i think it’s very cute that Trans Day of Visibility and Easter are on the same day this year :)
its no question that something like this could be triggering or upsetting to a number of queer ppl given the current sociopolitical climate, so i want everyone to remember that u are loved! Regardless of what u or others believe, there are ppl who will love and support you always. Give yourself patience and treat yourself with care!!!
