[He says, offering Tsukasa a sad smile. He feels a pang in his heart at how quickly Tsukasa had snapped at him. Yet another reminder his feelings were not reciprocated.]

[The rookie knights are quick to flee. They must've gotten nervous in Tsukasa's presence. Tsukasa scoffs before making his way out of the training grounds. He stands in front of the wall, staring down at the ground.]

[Just when he thinks he's alone, Tsukasa punches the wall in frustration. As if he needed another reminder that he'll always be the odd one out. He continuously punches the wall until the pain begins to register to him. It took a lot more hits than it should for him to notice.]

He may be wasting his time trying to befriend the prince, but being late isn't doing him any favors regardless. He sprints the whole way, only stopping as he spots a familiar figure slumped near the wall. His eyes widen as he recognizes the figure as Tsukasa, holding his hand in what looks like pain. He rushes over, kneeling beside the prince.] your highness...! are you ok..?

[He borderline grits out, only meeting Rui’s eyes once he finishes.]
