I went to put out the recycling only to find that the heavy wind and rain last night tore open the blue plastic bags for plastic recycling and just scattered them all over the driveway.

Gotta be honest, my good lad. With the fracture and all the exhaustion, trauma and loneliness, the severe emotional distress I've been in for a good 3 weeks every day, the film I waited nearly a decade for and prebooked a whole month in advance traumatising me, now food poisoning and this mess I just had to tidy up from the drive....starting to feel a bit personal

Honestly it boils down to reparenting yourself & rewiring your own neuronal pathways & telling yourself a firm “stop” when you notice your mind slipping down negative loopholes & being present in the moment & enjoying being mid task rather than waiting for it to end & not thinking of inertia as your baseline and natural way of living
