Eiyou~ Actually Bartitsu wasn’t a Japanese technique! It was developed by an Englishman named Edward Wilson Barton-Wright. The name Bartitsu came from his name: Barton. It combined jujitsu, boxing, cane fighting and savate. 

But yes, in Doyle’s work, it’s usually referred to as Baritsu because typo and Doyle. (Personally I prefer Baritsu. Rolls off the tongue easier.)

Apparently, Sherlock had survived the Thames river fall by using the Japanese wrestling technique called “Bartitsu”.

However, it was misspelled as “Baritsu” in Conan Doyleʼs original work. I will stick with this term in my translation.

Here’s Part 3! I finally finished it and managed to awaken Ron, too so I’ll also be doing the two chapters that come after. It’ll be great.

The following day, a busy street bustling with lovers...

Time passed and we were unable to find any clues. As we took a break, I brought him to a jewelry store.

[That's the Kingdom of Jewels for you~ This is the best place to pick a present for a lady.]

Ronald looked happily at the shining jewels as he stepped into the store.

(Ever the natural escort, I can't help but wonder if Ronald was always surrounded by women.)

(It might be for his girlfriend.....)

Ronald turned his eyes back to me as I moved my attention to the brooch.

At those words, he looked me over with an unusual expression.

[That's pretty fresh.]

I found him staring from behind his glasses and averted my eyes, not knowing what to do.

MC: [Um... I should be leaving soon.]

[Right, we're done for the day. Fancy a drink?]

He flashes a confident smile.

[What's wrong? I've got a good feeling right about now.]

With those words and a wink, he grabbed my hand.

MC: [....!]

Surprised by that hand, my heart felt like it could burst from my chest. But he didn't seem to notice as he pulled me along and walked out of the store....

We had a toast in a newly opened bar.

This place is really nice.

A calm atmosphere was created by the music playing.

Ronald sat with his back to the sunlit window and chatted away happily.

He's probably had a thousand cocktails which he drinks like water.

MC: [It is, isn't it? Drinking at sunset.]

Ronald has a cheek on the counter as he looks at me**

And here’s part 2! Part 3 to follow. The bit that follows after that might take a while since I still need to grind those fairies and awaken the poor sod. Left a few things untranslated in here too because I wasn’t sure again. Also, I’ll be following the Sun route. Couldn’t for the life of me justify Hipster Melon Soda.

Today, I was also looking for a way to return Ronald to his original world.

Beside me, Ronald, looked tired as he stretched out.

(It's completely different from the grim reaper I imagined, but I don't think he's lying.)

With those words, I had to doubt what I heard again.

We spoke as we walked through the busy shopping streets

Hey everyone! The Knoxicologist is back and is busy with a little project. Of course I got into this game for my son and now I bring you translations of his story chapters (Because he finally dropped for me during a solo yolo). I’ll be posting them as soon as I finish them. Please be aware my vocabulary is minging at best so I’m trying. I also left a couple of sentences in there because I wasn’t too sure of how to translate them.

Two people finding a way to go back to their original world, although....

Part one:

Country of Jewels . Oliverite

A bright light falling from the sky illuminates the city on such a calm day.

「We’re still busy even though I’m already being serious.」

Ronald is seated on a crowded bench with his lawnmower while looking up at the sky.

MC: 「Just a little break.」

I got stuck in this world with Ronald Knox. He's looking for a way to go back to his original world. I'm also busy and trying to find clues as soon as possible.

What should I do?

「You should sit down too. Here.」

He urges me to sit next to him.

MC: [Ah. Yes.]

As I sat down, he brushed the fallen leaves away with his hand.

さりげよい心遺いを嬉しく思いながら、彼の隣に座る Relieved, I sat beside him(?)

I’m back only temporarily because it’s almost @flamingfinch‘s birthday (Everyone please greet her) and I made her an AMV for her birthday. I apologize for the poor quality because the HD version is still being rendered and I got excited.
