HELP FOR SONIC ARTISTS

I’m a piece of shit but I wanted to make this post in case there are more people out there who had the same problem as me. For those who needed a REAL reference of Sonic characters in order to learn how to draw them from different angles and know their anatomy well. I came across Sketchfab, here people upload 3D models online (some FanArt, other originals extracted from the games, one realizes when they see them or just read the description), including models of old games like Sonic R. And of course, not only Sonic, you can find 3D models of animals, monsters, people, armors, weapons, vehicles etc, so I think it is very useful for any artists!

Anyway, I leave the links to models that I personally liked the most.

In some models (like this one) you can change the animation/position here.

Sonic character head ref sheets!!

inspired by @tsaikonautz's head sheets, I made my own sheets, this time with more characters and with far more angles for artists to use! with a 15 x 15 array (225 heads) front & back, thats 450 head angles!

please refer to the bottom of the post for the links to the full-resolution images, as tumblr compression only allows images up to 2048px wide, and these were rendered at 4k ^^ (this post is Part 1, I'll be releasing additional ones with other characters. next part will include the Chaotix, Babylon Rogues (especially since Ive ripped the Free Riders models), and Metal Sonic)

I made cover for my lil sketch book and it took HOURS but I’m so happy with the out come cuz I’m not that good with painting even if it’s a lil messy I still love it :)

She still has the same powers and whatnot but I like her ALOT better now and I might change the age where she got her abilities or whatever she has a com built into her inhibiter rings now (line work is messy but I don’t care)

My knuxadow fan kid (she’s a lil plain but I’m tired 😭)

. Dawn developed her chaos ability’s when she was 12 so growing up she felt out of place with the other kids (fan kids)

.because of the knuckles and shadow where really protective over her (they still would be even if she developed her powers earlier)
