Also brief Sun and Flora meeting where they immediately clock each other with the Same Hat vibes and no one can tell what's up with that.

Can’t stop thinking about the way that “Link” by Djo is so so similar to Wild/Champion and even pre-calamity Wild.

So much about being at the top (royal/personal guard) but not feeling good about it (silence, guilt, etc.) and stuff about being freed and still feeling bad. Could definitely relate to that feeling of being freed after losing his memories, but still being ‘haunted’ by his past, making him feel uncertain, or bad, about his freedom.

Obviously symbolism symbolism “link in the chain” is literally both in this scenario it’s both the idea of Wild being in the chain but also being a part of a chain that is not a physical thing, but an idea. Also following the “Wild is a link” mindset, the pre chorus talking about always doing what’s right no matter what? 100% a Wild ideal.

There is in verse 2 lines about following blindly, which isn’t very Wild-esk but other than that the song really does feel like a Wild song.

Idk I just really thought that I was fully gone to the fandom when I kept thinking about “Link in the chain” being the lyric that relates but then I realized the entire song is basically an ode to Wild
