3 THINGS THAT YOU'RE DESTROYING YOURSELF
Have you ever feel you're not enough? Like comparing yourself to others? Do your insecurities go bigger? Are you aware that you're slowly destroying yourself? This issue may not be a big deal for others, but people have this, it matters.
Most people have insecurities in their life. They may have gotten it when they were young, from the experiences they had then and now, rejections, perfectionism, judgment, and more negative experiences and feelings. Insecure people have a different approach to their life than others. All their bad experiences, they carry with them wherever they go, and to those people, they are talking.
So, how will you know if you are insecure or have self-doubt? Some things below are signs of destroying yourself. I hope you don't have these things.

COMPARING YOUR SELF TO OTHERS
Comparing yourself to others is unfair for you. You compare yourself because you think that person is more good than you, and not thinking that your skills, personalities, and way of living your life is different. Comparing become your habit, it is not good. You lose many chances for yourself. Instead of living your life positively, you stuck yourself by comparing yourself to others.
Opinion: I'm not in the position to give you any advice, but maybe this may help you to overcome it. STOP comparing yourself because it's not healthy for you. You're destroying yourself slowly. Take a look at your success.
2. FEELING OF JUDGEMENT
Insecure people have the feeling and thinking of other people say. They always bring this everywhere they go. They imagine a group of people is talking on their backs even it is not. They assume that they always judge by their looks. They tend to think that they observe by others every time they feel not belong.
Opinion: No matter what you do, whether you do right or wrong, people will judged and talked about you by their observation of you. TRAIN your mind not to think about what others think about you. If you have a negative thought, bring the image in your brain. You judge your self.

3. THINKING THAT YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Insecure people always think about this, in anything and everything. They judge themselves, and they doubt their self abilities. They begin to be different and adapting to their surroundings to try and fit in better. In the end, they will question themselves, "who am I now?" "Is this still me?". Every day we act differently just to fit in the group for them to include us in their group. Even us, we no longer know ourselves because we think we are not good enough.
Opinion: Be true on who you are, and show them the real you. Don't change yourself just because people don't like you. A relationship must be sincere to accept what you are, and not the one will change you because they no longer like your behavior or what you show.
If you have those signs, think about it. You're destroying yourself!

FILIPINO TIME (OTW MODUS)
Anong oras na!? Nasaan na ang iba? Ang usapan 7 ng umaga! Pero nasaan na kayo? OTW na daw! Takte! Kanina pa yang OTW na yan! Kanina pa ako dito. Halos kalahati na ng oras ako nandito! Filipino nowadays, are mostly have an attitude of being late where all plans are already set and the members agree on it. Being late cannot avoid by others, but, if that happen repeats, it’s not avoiding, it’s intentionally. Like in the statement above, you can hear those words to other Filipinos that arrive on time. If someone set a time to come and a place to meet, expect that, other members will be late. Even though they texted or chatted you that they are on the way-No! Don’t believe on that. That is a lie! They just said that because they want you to know that they on their way but it is not. They are still at their home and they just finish their bath on that time. Half of the time, they are still not existing in the place where it supposed that, they are already there. It is annoying because you came first, you follow the plans and them? They are late? It’s unfair for your part but, it’s okay because you are not one of them. At least you, you follow the time that is set. In that case, there are people or the leaders that, they already know that attitude of their members, so, if they are going to set a plan, the leaders sets the start time an hour early, so that, others will arrive on time for the activity. Why other Filipinos are late? There are different reason why they show up late; One, they already experience of being early and others are late. And because of that, they do what others do. They don’t believe because others are not also follow the set time. Two, they don’t believe to their groupmates. The reason why they don’t believe is because, as what I mentioned above, they are liars! When you ask them where are they, they will chat you that they on their way even it’s not. Three, they are lazy. Filipinos known as industrious people but now, like climate, Filipino change. There are other reason why they show up late but I just tell you the top reasons. Hence, this cultural phenomenon was called “Filipino Time” and it means, your Filipino groupmates will come up late. I am Roveil Lyn C. Bautista from KAPAYAPAAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL in the strand of HUMSS and also the victim of the “OTW MODUS”. -Robyeeel🌷

Old Church in the Philippines
Hi swisshies! This blog is about my weekend getaway with my friends. While I’m scrolling on my social media account I saw a post about a church near here in Canlubang, this church is almost 500 years old it’s located in Cabuyao Bayan. I’m shocked when I read the article about it and I was like “Girl! We should go there!” and then the day before the escapade my teacher gave us performance task, we need to make a travel vlog and I suggested that 500 year old church. We have no idea about where the exact location of that church is and the only thing to do is to use google maps another app. This church named St. Polycarp Parish, this church is very amazing because of its design especially the angel in ceiling. That time I realized that our country is rich in historical places and beautiful churches just like that.
Travelling somewhere you didn’t know is a must try experience, so explore!

Filipino Food
One of the things we consider in this world is food, we love foods! Everyone loves food. Food is a signature of one’s place, our place have one dish that can only seen here. Without food travel is nonsense, what I mean is it’s so plain when you just travel to a place without trying their delicacies or with their famous foods.
One of the foods I consider as one of the greatest is kwek-kwek it’s an egg coated with thick delicious secret coating, I really love eating kwek-kwek especially when you dip it in a sweet sauce mixed in spicy vinegar. You can find kwek-kwek in every part of the country. This street food acted a big role in everyone’s live. I think you’re not a Filipino citizen if you haven’t taste it. This delicious street food is known for its orange coating, in a school in Manila they put some twist on our subject today which is kwek-kwek they make it better-looking they used different food colors for the kwek-kwek that makes this orange egg into an Easter Sunday magical egg, well for me it’s magical because every person who see this will buy.
Kwek-kwek is just one out of hundreds delicious foods here in Philippines. If you walk around the streets or parks here in our country and you see an orange coated eggs, girl! You should try to eat that.

Life of a HUMSS Student
Some students said that Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS) was the easiest strand to take for in Senior High School. It doesn't have many math like what ABM have or scientific explanation and formula for STEM, but hey, HUMSS is not that easy if you ask me. Without us, who will interpret humans? Who will study the explanation about the attitudes and perception of every people? Who will understand humans? Math can't explain it neither natural science because humans are subjective and constantly changing. No need for formulas, but just a simple understanding.
I am Alex and a proud Humanista. I thought, too, at first that HUMSS is easy. I took it because B.S in Travel and Tourism Management course is under this strand and my dream so I have to take this first. But when I started to see the real deal of this strand, I appreciate humanity more.
My life as a HUMSS student changes me. It's like the truth about what's happening in my surrounding revealed and I see in my naked eye the real problem of my country. Because of this strand, I becoming matured slowly and my complains about life lessen. That was what our SocSci teacher told us. Instead of complaining easily about what is happening in our life, why don't we try to understand it first? Or better think about it as a thing that is meant to be happened. Or blame aliens, that was a joke! HAHAHA.
Constitutions? Preamble? Laws? President? Yep, good guess. It is part of our lessons. We are studying about the previous presidents of our country and try to analyze the laws they made and what are the things they did. Laws are important in our life. It makes our world balance so we can live in harmony. If there's no HUMSS, who will create laws for you? *winks.
Hmm. What more? Ah! HUMSS students are meant to serve humanity. Help those who's needy and understand them. Humans can only be understand by human so we are here to serve you and make your life better! We are not judgemental. Before we judge, we make sure first that we use the approaches needed to create a final judgement. For example, Structural Functionalism. A theory from Emile Durkheim where he said that everything that was happening in our surrounding are structured and really meant to happen. Cool, right?
So yeah. Being a HUMSS student is not easy but it is fun and adventurous. Not the easiest but a strand to open your mind. My life as a Humanista is very memorable. Because of this, I see what humans is and the reality of our world.
