→ mrs. Saiki is ECSTATIC, she always asks Aiura to do tarot readings for her and her husband

→ kusuo invited her to his grandparents’ for Christmas without his mum even suggesting it

→ for his family that practically means they’ll get married

→ aiura would buy those matching butterfly rings that are a trend on tiktok

→ and kusuo would pretend to hate it but ended up wearing it on his ring finger

→ got mad when aiura didn’t wear hers on her ring finger

→ subtly changed it when they were holding hands and she wouldn’t stop teasing him about it

→ aiura said ‘I love you’ first after five months of them being together and Kusuo was so surprised that he didn’t even finish his jelly

→ he said it back with a whisper in her ear, talking with his mouth for the first time in forever

→ I think aiura has the coziest bed with hella pillows and fuzzy blankets, so they have sleepovers every other saturday

→ and then they wake up and stay cuddling for hours before they decide to get up and have some coffee

→ talking about cuddles, kusuo is really touch-starved I think, so he gets so happy when aiura snuggles into his chest after a long day

→ he likes being the little spoon more tho, he just enjoys being in her arms

→ she has a few pictures of them on her wall and he has a polaroid of her in his wallet( ◠‿◠ )

→ in terms of jealousy, she gets jealous more easily, but she knows she can trust him

→ Kusuo on the other hand, if this boy gets jealous it’s over

→ once saw a guy from school stare at her boobs and made him transfer schools

→ the only time he’d have to resort to pda would be if they were out in public and everyone’s thoughts were about how beautiful she was

→ aiura pretends not to notice, but squeezes his hand softly and gives him a reassuring smile

→ I feel like they’d have pretty steamy make-out sessions every once in a while since they’re both very intense characters idk

→ aiura would even convince him to go on a double date with kaidou and aren bc kusuo is just THAT smitten that he’d accept anything she said

→ overall really healthy together, always doing fun things and enjoying each other’s presence

“Why does Toritsuka think we’re dating?” Kusuo barely raised his eyes from the cheesecake in front of him, but he knew he fucked up somehow. Yes, he did let Toritsuka think he was dating Aiura, but in his defense, he was acting like a pervert again. Kusuo was definitely not jealous.

‘No idea.’ He shrugged.

“It wouldn’t be because you got jealous, would it?” She grinned and sat across from him on the table.

‘You’re funny.’ He let out a scoff.

“If you wanted to be my boyfriend, you could just ask.” She continued teasing him. Kusuo looked up at her with the faintest grin on his face.

‘Want to be my girlfriend then?’

“Huh?!”

‘Lost your chance.’

“Wait, wait!” Aiura chased behind him, slamming on his back when he stopped abruptly. “Are you serious?”

‘What would you say?’

“Yes, obviously! And it’s not funny to play with–”

‘I’m serious then.’

“Well, won’t you walk your girlfriend home?” She exclaimed, tapping her foot on the concrete ground impatiently. Kusuo turned around, a genuine smile and a pink hue on his cheeks decorating his face.

“More inviting than the galra designs, Princess.” Coran helpfully chimed in. 

Shiro glanced at himself then to the Altean Empress. “I never actually agreed to this whole ‘Paladin’ thing, your eminence.” which was true. She had offered, not ordered, in ended in a question, and Shiro chose not to answer. Now here he was trying on various sets of armor under the watchful eyes of Empress Allura and her aide, Coran.

“I have a feeling you’ll come around, Shirogane. You’re a good man, an excellent pilot, and you take into consideration the feeling of all those you meet. In my very being I can feel the pull of the black lion requesting you.” She stepped away, adjusting her cape and smiling brightly at him. “And do call me Allura.”

“Shiro.”

“Hm?”

“If I call you Allura, you should call me Shiro.”

Her smile reached her eyes and they shone slightly.

“Very well Shiro. You are free from my ministrations.” She reached up and patted him slightly on the cheek before exiting the room. It should have been humiliating, a gesture that was meant to only mock him and his current captivity. But somehow, it felt sweet. Maybe there was an altean meaning behind it?

He looked over to Coran who was already sorting the different armor sets.

“So, Shiro is it then? Not Shirogane.”

“Shiro is what my friends call me.”

“Hmmm.” The older Altean raised his eyebrows “You’re friends now, eh?” He grinned.

Shiro shrugged as he started to take off the current armor set “Yeah. Maybe.”

dont you think its a little dangerous to say, uncompromisingly, to not believe white women when they cry. Yea in some contexts its manipulative.
