What is it about Kolivance that you find so appealing? Are there any fics or fan art that you enjoy?

We came up with Kolivance as a group of friends, and even though that group of friends has disbanded and we don't really talk to each other anymore I am still very very fond of this ship thanks to the warm memories I have connected to it.

The first fics and artworks that came out for this ship are also all our doing, and back then we even teased everyone with the reveal of Kolivan's nickname for Lance (starlight) lol

It’s a slow movement, it takes the full expanse of a second, and it makes Lance smile, thin lips curling into a soft expression.

“That was a kiss,” Kolivan says, voice a whisper. His hands twitch where they are resting on his lap. Lance places his smaller ones on top.

“Yeah, big guy,” and it’s amazing, how they have yet to move away from each other. “That was a kiss.”

Hi there! I haven’t read any VLD fics in a looong looong while. I’ve mostly moved on from the fandom, even if every now and then I engage a little because I still have good feelings about it, and good memories too!

I’m keeping the blog up and try to update it whenever I can or I remember, since this ship is one I love <3 though after modding the zine, I stopped engaging as much.

Coming up with this ship with then friends (I still consider them so, though we haven’t talked in a long time) is one of my most cherished and warm memories from the VLD fandom. I’m super happy that so many of you like it as well! It’s honestly very, very lovely.

If you all want, you can send fic recs related to the ship here---but as long as all credit is properly given, with all the necessary warnings when they apply.

As far as I’m aware, I think they deactivated after backlash over a mistake they made. But I’m not sure, honestly. Hopefully someone else can give you a better answer?

OK, Lance's mom threatening all of Lance's friends into eating is such a great concept. As an Asian, this is a very familiar concept except Asians tend to be more passive aggressive about it. Also the paladins finding different ways to interrogate Lotor is the funniest shit I've ever read. + your Kolivance ones are so awesome because it's always Lance lightening Kolivan up and Kolivan being extra soft for Lance yes, that's the dynamic I LIVE for
