Hey yall, so I'm Decol and TLDR version is: I can't work cuz I'm disabled meaning my trans gf is our family of 3's only income.

To try and help with bills, rent, and other needs I set a daily goal of $25 to try raising through Tumblr.

Less tldr version: I'm a disabled native parent living with my trans gf who is the only one of us who can/does work. She needs to support the 3 of us and now that her checks are being garnished it's harder than usual for us to keep up with bills. We were already relying on Tumblr for support before garnishments happened and now we hardly have anything left after bills & groceries. So any money we get from this goes to the secondary bills that we've have fallen behind on and/or things like restocking water, tp, paper towels, soap, etc; basically any non-urgent needs that we had to go without to pay rent, utilities, or get groceries. Garnishments have taken $150 from us PER WEEK which really affects how much we have to exist especially when we didn't really have that much to income begin with.

I have $300 left for an in clinic abortion after taking the pill did not work! I have until the 28th when my first trimester is done and cost goes up 🫠 also dealing with fever and blurred vision that are from being pregnant according to the doctor. pls keep sharing as i am terrified of pregnancy. buc-ees is planning on building a large location in north carolina that will detroy 32 acres occaneechi saponi land, the proposed location is in the middle of the historic occaneechi trading path that is part of a larger network historic trade routes in the south eastern US, and additionally has traditional ceremonial grounds and burial grounds in the vicinity. there is no contingency planning happening on buc-ees part for if a spill were to happen, potentially harming the wildlife in the area, and contaminating water.
