I have this doll that passo gave to me. Passo’s mom gave it to passo after it went off at 3am and woke his mom’s youngest up. and it keeps going off at night. Meanwhile i figured out how to dump the rom. So it sings real world holiday songs and thats all it does. It doesnt look like a real world holiday decoration doesn’t it? Also it creeps me out. Passo’s mom said “get this thing out of my house.”

How i got Fred’s merubox to play ONLY his favorite “soap opera” which is SOYR.

Some info about Fred first.

So fred is komppi’s grandpa and he is this old retired fellow, hes 40 as i type this. So basically he has this merubox, one of the ones where the picture is monochrome. He first heard of the SOYR series after a long conversation with Komppi. Fred brought up the time he worked for a company that made banned audio recordings that would mess up every blob (alongside one or two real worlders) and Komppi immediately brought up the SOYR series. The next day I brought fred up to the classroom just to see SOYR. Needless to say he fell in love with the series (and the idea of a series that hates on that company that discriminated him cuz hes a computer.)

The equipment

First I brought out an Epi-cart player with a cartridge that has all the SOYR episodes on it. (I will come back when a new set of SOYR gets released.) I then opened the side door with the advanced setting switches inside and flipped the one that shuffles throughout the cartridge and the one that loops the cartridge.

Did he like it?

He did!

I remember Fred's 40th. Pretty memorable to say the least. One of the blobs put a Scaleech record on his gramophone and he was an instant fan after he heard Scaleech sing bad things about a company that treated him badly.

Ofc I had to get bebo to take Fred to Nera's class to celebrate later on (and to show him SOY,R!)

Later that day Beso got around to getting an Epi-Cart player and a cartridge of SOYR set 1 so it's the only thing that plays on Fred's merubox.

He also flipped the switches in the advanced settings door on the side of the player so it can shuffle through the episodes and loop them.
