»true/false« is a kinetic sculpture composed of arrays of circular black metal segments set in mechanical columns. Interlocking and rotating around fluorescent light tubes. On or off, true or false. Some entities have the property of being committed to adopt either one of the two states and switch between them. This sculpture explores what lies in between these fundamental states in order to make change tangible.

As a continuation of my previous experiment on panorama visual export (vimeo.com/216337773) thru Processing, I tried out the new Monoscopic 360 Video feature in Jim Schmitz's latest Camera3D lib v1.2 (ixora.io/projects/camera-3D/). This video demonstrates the test result on 189D0 (vimeo.com/196620747), a visual system I designed and implemented in late 2016.

Initially started as a tweak of 115C8 (vimeo.com/45569702) in 2013, one of Kwok’s Algorithmic Creatures based on finite subdivision, 1194D (vimeo.com/74877028) is an experiment on multiple geometric creatures co-existing within a tetrahedron-based grid environment.

In 2017, The project was improved and revised into an immersive triple-screen audiovisual installation as 1194D^3 for .zip Future Rhapsody art exhibition curated by Wu Juehui (.io/) & Yan Yan (artlinkart.com/cn/artist/overview/86ddwtrp) at Today Art Museum (todayartmuseum.com/enindex.aspx) in Beijing, China.

The entire visual is programmed and generated using Processing (processing.org/). All stages are later composed and exported using Premiere. The soundtrack is mac os and windows (re:interpretation) by + (freemusicarchive.org/music/_2810/FugaYK/mac_os_and_windows_reinterpretation).

The Gift Hotel is a serie of five short movies. Each one tells the story behind a Massimo Dutti article. Massimo Dutti called us to solve a problem: Show 5 featured articles of their new collection. We develop the idea of creating five videos to show, during one week, a product a day. We came up with the concept of The Gift Hotel, a place where while you enjoy walking across warm little halls, big restyled old buildings and artificial shopping sets, you can find each article in a beautiful pace.
