I agree wholeheartedly with some these prev anons. this fandom is very aggressive to any opinion that disagrees or contrasts with their own, and they overhate characters too much when none of them actually deserve it.

even when a player's opinion is something so simple like choosing the best batchelor/bachelorette. if you pick a lesser-loved option outside of a modern opinion, people who overhate the character will go through mental gymnastics to argue all these overblown reasons that "you're wrong." as if the character personally killed their grandma and you're somehow just as bad.

...which is all fucking wild for a cozy and sweet game like Stardew Valley, where you'd be hard pressed to find a truly dispicable character.
