i feel so miserable and sleep deprived that im losing any motivation to draw, here are the only ones that i can provide for now

so everybody saw that when gihun fell off that ledge, the ghosts of all the ppl he helped were like ‘oh hell nah,’ and he was miraculously saved from death, right? no broken back or neck, yep. and we all saw inho pick up the baby before coming down to say his last goodbye to gihun, only to realize that he was still alive. absolutely we did. and, of course, we all remember when junho shoots through the window, inho screams for him, screams that gihun needs help with tears streaming down his face. and when inho finally gets gihun and the baby to junho, junho takes the baby and starts roaring at his brother- how the fuck could he have abandoned him so easily? betrayed him? and all the while, inho is dead silent, eyes never leaving gihun’s bloodied face as he holds him tight.

as they zoom away from the island on one of those little boats, inho tends to gihun’s injuries as best he can while junho fumes at the steering wheel. junho pulls up to the docks on the mainland and tells inho he’s taking gihun to the hospital, leaving inho standing at the shore like an abandoned puppy. and who could forget when the rain starts to fall against inho; fast, heavy droplets pounding on his head as he drags his feet along the pavement. he doesn’t try to hail a taxi as the sky darkens and people scurry inside to avoid the downpour. he eventually finds his way to his cramped apartment, soaking the wooden floors of this room. he drops to the floor, still fully clothed and sopping wet, and passes out.

the next morning (after he decides not to off-himself), inho goes to visit gihun in the hospital. he checks in, bolts to the room, and finds gihun attached to a billion cords and machines, braces and bandages covering his neck and back and arms. he looks peaceful and blissfully alive; warm and flushed under multiple layers of blankets. inho silently pads to gihun’s side, sitting on this knees and resting his head on the side of the bed. he watches gihun for god knows how long before drifting off beside him.

eventually, junho brings wooseok to show him gihun is safe, and he freezes at the sight of his brother. he hurriedly shoos wooseok out of the room, telling him that gihun actually needs more time alone. and, albeit a bit begrudgingly, junho leaves inho with gihun; the time stretching out like fine thread around them.
