Here is my second Amigurumi plushie! This time I made Ed (Edward) from Full Metal Alchemist! Also one of my favorite animes of all time. He is an improvement on Joker but there are a few mistakes my perfectionist mind bugs me about. Even so, I'm pretty happy with him. There are few things I want to improve for my next one (that I'm working on now) and that is, I'm changing up the shoes/legs and I'm going to make the head a bit bigger. I am a lot more satisfied with the yu/yo though! :) Next up, I'm making Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and I'll be making her a Noah so they can be together! Ed is another one I will want to make another version of in the future when I'm more skilled and I've got my pattern settled. -- Upcoming amigurumi plushie projects will include: Mio (XC3), Noah (XC3), Hua Cheng (TGCF), Xie Lian (TGCF), Akechi (P5R), Joker again (P5R), Makoto (P3), More Phantom Thieves, Some of the demons from Atlus-verse (SMTV or P5R versions) and so many more. I wish I had all the time in the world to just make more and more! Oh yeah, I also decided I wanted to make a few larger sized plushies so I can be more detailed when my skills are better and I'm definitely planning to make a Hua Cheng (he was the one who made me think how nice a larger, detailed one would be XD) As a side note: I won't be selling my amigurumi plushie dolls because they are copyrighted characters. However, when I perfect my doll pattern and I'm happy with it, I may sell that and if I don't sell it, I may put it on youtube (or both)! But that won't happen for awhile... My first Amigurumi plushie of Joker/Ren/Akira from Persona 5! I'm kind of teaching myself as I go along so this was my first attempt and I'm pretty happy with it! I also learned a lot! And I've changed up a few things in my next one (I'll post next) and again for the 3rd one I'm working on! But the key takeaway from this one was: Do not make a whole head of individual hair pieces and use yu/yo to make it look nicer! Anyway I'm kind of in the practice phase where I'm perfecting my pattern and also getting better at it as I go along. So unfortunately, I know my first ones will not be as good. So I fight with myself over which characters to make because I want to make characters I like but I also want to them to look good! So I've decided to wait to make Akechi for now but I will make him in the not so distant future with an updated Joker so they can be together.
