Guys I've been absolutely obsessed with Deltarune since I played chapter 3... So here's a large art dump lol

To start with I made Deltarune OC's because it makes me happy, and I can't help but adore them HGGHHGFFGHJ

Avery has a crush on Snatcher

Oh boyyy... I wonder how they would feel about hearing their Adopted Child talk about how this crush basically had her in a time loop of eternal pain (DeathWish)

Also how does YOUR AU Snatcher view hatkid? Whats their dynamic like.

Its always interesting to see the different interpretations of the dynamic between them. Also no matter WHAT theyre dynamic is i totally imagine snatcher noodling right up to Avery , picking them up by the scruff and being like

" wtf is wrong with your kid. She WANTED death wish btw "

Ohhohohohoo my friend you're asking questions that have lore filled answers, so I'll start with the tame stuff before getting into yap mode

For the dynamic between Snatcher and Hat kid in AtH (Across the Horizon), Snatcher hates Hat kid in the first half of chapter 1 for humiliating him at his own boss fight. But as time passes he starts to slowly (somewhat) accept her presence in his forest

and after his encounter with Avery and getting to know them he slowly see's a different side of Hat kid, as all he had seen before was a reckless brat. But now he sees a child who wants to explore the planet, make friends and make their parent proud! Snatcher softens and basically see's her as 'acceptable', but has truly grown a soft spot for her and Avery

As for the Deathwish stuff, this will be a bit of spoilers and WIP (Work in Progress) stuff for the story of AtH, so continue reading if you're interested!!

in the AU the Deathwish DLC isn't exactly the same, as Snatcher doesn't get enough time to offer the contracts to Hat kid before meeting Avery and growing a soft spot for the mini family of two. Snatcher and Avery grow closer as well in the process and perhaps become more than friend's, but is it really a good thing?

There will be a event slightly similar to the Deathwish stuff where Snatcher begins to get possessive over Avery after they've gotten close, trying to keep them in the forest more... Or perhaps he's isolating them?

Also I love the idea of Snatcher picking up Avery and asking what's wrong with their kid, maybe I'll doodle it at some point lmao XD

how would avery interact with other characters? :3 (cooking cat, empress, etc etc)

do they take a while to feel comfortable around new people or are they more extroverted in the sense that they'll walk up to anyone they find interesting?

Avery is a bit more reserved as a person, but is not against meeting new people. Most of the time it depends on the other person's reputation, but Avery is pretty open to meeting new people! (even if they would rather sit in their workshop and work on their next invention...)

It does take them some time to get comfortable with new people, but it is all worth it in the end as they will share their interests and even sneak peeks of their work to friend's of theirs!

As for Empress that you mentioned, Avery is... Admittedly a bit scared of her, despite knowing she's likely not try to get them into her suspicious business. They always try to avoid her when they visit the metro to buy specific materials that are difficult to find elsewhere

And due to their work being somewhat known throughout the planet (since there's few people who make unique weapons, items etc...), they tend to go for a casual outfit to try and make themself less recognizable in the metro. Queston is if it's good enough to hide their identity...?

Decided to make some doodles of stuff for my AU: Across the Horizon!! I plan to go more in depth about it as I post depending on likely the storyline (and also what I feel like posting hehe), so here's a start to get to know Avery which is a added character of my AHIT au!!
