171012 Sasaki Kotoko Blog: Woof

Long time no see

We had "Sasaki Kotoko's Home Party" a little while ago on Nogiten 2. Kawago-san, Karin-chan, Iori, and Ayane-chan respectively brought me some sweets.

While we ate together, I talked about Russia.

Karin-chan brought peach tarts! It was handmade, has a great quality, and delicious.

Iori brought her mom's peanut butter muffin and store bought chocolate! As expected, her mom's cooking was still tasty!

Ayane brought me cookies! I have actually eaten them once and I liked them so I was happy [that Ayane brought it]

Kawago-san brought some wasanbon puddings and gave handmade muffins and cookies with message cards as gifts. I ate them at home and they were delicious. "I want you to be interested in Russia" I recommended something for each members.

Karin-chan got the FIFA World Cup (I heard she used to be in a soccer club and the world cup will be held next year in Russia)

Kawago-san got the cheese (Russia dairy products seems delicious)

Ayane-chan got Alexander Nevsky Monastery (where there are poets and composers' graves and others) Iori got perfume (from the Novaya Zarya fragrance line)

Aside from that, I also scheduled a delusional trip plan if I were able to go to St. Petersburg... did a little quiz about Russia... and because that episode is already available to watch again on Nogiten 2. Please watch all the details there! I had several meetings with the staffs. I talked about Russia so they made these really nice information boards and the quiz all at once. I talked about things that I like so the meeting was a lot of fun. When asked, "How are you going to research for the information?" I said I read Lonely Planet as one of the ways. On the live broadcasting day I even went to the bother of buying and bringing the Russian issue of that guide book lol

Spoke of this on mobame already but SAO Season 3 is confirmed. I'm looking forward to it~

Yesterday, Magi had its last chapter on Weekly Shounen Sunday right. Since I'm more a tankoubon person, I haven't seen it... I hope there'd be continuation to the anime...

Fairy Tail too! Can't wait for next year's anime!!

Hello, everyone–! This is Sagara Iori, 19 years old!

I think that some people already know, I went to Thailand with Maichun on 7/30!

1st time in Thailandヽ(*^^*)ノ

There are so many things Where should I start…  

First, Why did we go this time

There’s a party called “Women’s Journey 2017” We went to participate in it!

Nogizaka Is also chosen as Thailand’s tourism ambassador, So we participated as representative from Japan!

It was also my 1st party I was really nervous!!

Miss Universe from around the world gathered there It was quite overwhelming (*_*)(*_*)

Miss Universe or models from abroad I like them so much I was really happy to see them from near!!!

I was really honored To have such valuable experience.

I could talk English a little I was gladヽ(*^^*)ノ

I don’t know how it was possible though…

We also went sightseeing a lot within 3 days!

On the 1st day we had dinner At a stylish cafe restaurant And received Thai ancient massage after that!

It was my 1st Thai ancient massage It was interesting because it was a bit acrobatic! [Find some videos on YouTube, you’ll understand…]

But quickly My whole body got relaxed The fatigues after flight also went away (*^^*)

Many spices is used in their food It’s a little spicy but Whatever shop you go to Everything was delicious it made me happy~♡

This is marinated salmon

Especially the Massaman curry, Gaprao [Thai stir-fry dish], Crab curry, and whole fried fish was delicious ♡

On the 2nd day We went to see the royal palace and Wat Pho!

The decorations of the royal palace are gorgeous I felt that I got a lot of power from it.

Although I didn’t know of Where I was going on the way (^^;

The tour guide Explained a lot about Thai history and buildings I thought that I would like to know more about Thailand.

Because it’s a Buddhist country There are many things that’s similar to Japan.

At Wat Pho By inserting coins one by one Into the pot of 108 (number of Kleshas) It’s said that our wish will come true We also did that!

Wat Pho is 46m wide and 15m long It’s a huge Buddha statue.

While being indeed big, It was gleaming in gold; really wonderful.

After that I went to experience Thailand traditional dance and music♪

I learned a little instruments, such as Thai xylophone and Khim, Both were difficult to play.

Khim was unique instrument with a beautiful sound (^^)

Thai dance has A little bit similar hand moves to Bon Odori Dancing with this unique feeling It was really fun♪

On the 3rd day I had a massage At a popular spa in Thailand!

Because of the oil and scrub My skin became smooth ♡

The interior was Amazingly gorgeous and relaxing ♡

It was a moment of bliss ♡

I was really happy As if I were in a dream (*´∀｀*)

The cityscape, The food and people, too

Everything was really nice, It was a country that made traveling very easy.

I wanna go again!!!! Absolutely go again!!!

It was a very exciting journey to remember (^^)

170712 Hori Miona Blog: 2

Midsummer National Tour 2017 This year we started it in Jingu Stadium for 2 days!

Usually we have all members performing throughout the live, but this time 2nd gen members got a chance to perform on its own. In the early days we (the 2nd gen) didn’t perform together that much, I guess it’s safe to say that it was nearly our 1st time, so I was honestly nervous. We have a strong desire to make this the best live ever that at the rehearsals we discussed about how would the MC and performance go over and over again–it might be the 1st time for the 2nd gen to be this unified.

There were not enough opportunities to work with everyone that much… We stood together on the stage of a big venue like Jingu Stadium–I think I don’t want to forget the bliss.

That was our setlist. During the MC session we talked a little about our feelings in front of the audience. Because we had a different start and road to reach the place we are now, each member’s problems and emotions are different. It was a chance to perform with the 2nd gen after 4 years… Thus there were a lot of worries on having in-sync performance and how we, who are in between the sparkling 3rd gen and immovable 1st gen, can leave an impact to those who came to watch us.

But the sight of my friends who cried or laughed while were looking at the audience rocking the lightsticks and chanting out with excitement made me glad that we worked hard. How did… we do? I hope our strong feelings and performance was transmitted.

But everyone was there at the top

Security, happiness, frustration, nostalgia, and discontent–there were lots of emotions going on.

But each and every moment were very amusing Of course I enjoyed it! Those who have towels, fans, and lightsticks–I think I’m able to communicate with everyone through live performances. Another live that I love~

I was really happy to laugh, goof around, and talk with everyone during the shooting. It makes me happy when everyone is happy. I love everyone’s smile.

It’s a song with a vibe that have never existed before. Please look forward to it (*･ω･)ノ

Determinated, ambitious, but also kind 2nd gen members are passionate. 2nd gen members, and Nogizaka46, too, please keep supporting us from now on.

170620 Hori Miona Real Sound Interview Part 3

ーYou also have participated in previously released unit songs like “Kimi ni okuru hana ga nai” with Cinq Etoiles (Hori, Kitano, Terada, Nakada, Himeka); “Ano kyoushitsu” with Saito Asuka; “Atarisawari no nai hanashi” with Kasumi Kusa (Hori, Ikoma, Inoue, Hoshino). It’s true. In addition, I’m sorted out into each specification (?). And the fans… gods (laughs). Compared to senbatsu and under songs, I’m happy because each members would get more solo lines in unit songs. Plus, it’s exciting to guess what kind of song I’m gonna sing or who I’m gonna be with. I’m glad when I heard fans liking the unit I’m included, so I always cherish it every time.

ーAs with other idol groups too, unit songs in single or album are surprisingly popular among the fans in many cases. I understand them because I also like listening to a lot of AKB48 and SKE48’s unit and coupling songs. There’s a (unit) group’s unique or bizarre quality you can feel from the songs. It’s even better if oud favorite members gather there.

ーWe can’t easily watch it on TV music program, it’s something you can only see on concerts. In addition, there’s another new song “Settei ondo” sung by all 46 members this time. That song has a good line and harmony distribution. If it’s performed at concerts, I would like you to pay attention.

ーThe tune isn’t too bright, I think it’s Nogizaka-ish. I’m most glad when people say “it has a Nogi vibe” to any kind of song we sing, but when it comes to the group’s image as a whole, songs like “Settei ondo” has the right atmosphere. I feel that it isn’t too positive.

ーI understand. It’s not too negative nor serious (?). The impression of having a self-conflict matches the current members’ condition.

ーNogizaka46 is consisted of such people. It’s interesting that they can appear in such song. Anyway, to release an album once a year like this is extremely luxurious compared to the early days. That only means that the number of people who purely wants it is increasing. I think to buy all the single is difficult for students. I personally prefer to buy an album by saving pocket money rather than a single of my favorite artist every now and then. So, people who can’t afford many singles, on this occasion I want you to touch the world of Nogizaka.

ー"Manatsu no Zenkoku Tour 2017" is starting from July 1. Usually you will have the final show at the Meiji Jingu Stadium, but this year you will have the first show there instead. I hope it doesn’t rain like last year. But, it seems to be cooler compared to the end of August, isn’t it?

ーSurely. This is the first tour since the 3rd gen joined, and I’m looking forward to see what kind of content will it have. Even we’re having so much fun this time. I would like to challenge something new this year, so I guess it will be a little well-planned. If the guys on festival seating not fully enjoying it, the excitement can’t be generated to the rest of the crowd, so I’d like to have fun with everything. Also, this year my friends are coming to see me personally. I prefer not to have a lot of close friends that I haven’t invited anyone to concerts until now, but someone who I have been together with since kindergarten back home is now in Tokyo and we also have been hanging out since we met at the Coming of Age Ceremony long time ago. She will come to see this year and I want her to see me doing my best. I want to have a live that other people, including the fans, can enjoy happily. I want to be close with my fans, I think it’d be nice to get along with people who hold up [Miona] towel and fan, with those who support me.

ーWith the recent 1M record sales, Nogizaka46 will be fighting in a wider scale, not just in the idol scene from now. Does that consciousness seem to be growing inside yourself? Nogizaka46 is an idol group, but it’s bad to have “it’s because we’re idols” thoughts there. Yes, I entered showbiz to be an idol, but as I had various experiences I started wanting to be recognized in more places. I think all the members probably have the desire to be more needed too, like maybe just by having a notably good performance on stage. I have no choice but to work hard right now. Even if you’re watching other idols, when a member works hard to be recognized of their talents (from singing, acting, variety show, etc.), the group itself will also be more needed in the industry.

ーNogizaka46’s 6th anniversary is on August 21st. You’re entering the 7th year soon. What! I see… when in the 7th year, what was AKB48 on? Is it “Iiwake Maybe” (released in August 2009)?

ーThey was formed in December 2005, so that’s still far away. It was around the end of 2011, when “Everyday, Kachuusa” and “Flying Get” began hitting million record sales. Well then, I guess we have to work harder. We have to get public to know each member’s name more. The most well known members are still Maiyan, Ikomachan, or so. It’s gonna be a big problem for the future.

ーOne more thing, I think that 2nd generation made a breakthrough as a big change in the past year. For example, you, Kitano, Shinuchi are regular senbatsu members and Terada also joined you guys in “Influencer”. Miria, the center, together with Renachi and Ayane, 3 of the 2nd gen are also under’s frontmen. I’m happy for their success more than my own success. I’m unreliable, but I want to support everyone. Even so, if someone stay by your side, someday they will be reliable, won’t they? I wish I could be like that. With everyone in the 2nd gen actually moving vigorously now, I wanted to go as fast as I could to overtake my seniors, but that’s hard. Things just don’t go as I planned.

ー1st gen members are those who started from scratch and everyone has a strong personality. But we are no less than them; we have pure but serious kids here so we haven’t lost at all. Even if the 1st and 2nd gen members are in the opposite position, we are motivated enough to do our best to not lose. Everyone is interesting in their own way, but when they all combined into one, it’s what makes Nogizaka “Nogizaka”; that’s why everyone is truly amazing.

ーIt’s certainly true. So now that the 3rd gen have joined, how is your first junior? Of course there was a threatened feeling but since the 2nd gen have been working with our seniors for a long time, I think we understand how the 3rd gen feels and we can get along because of that. While it’s easy to be affectionate and to befriend each other from the same gen in public, it’s our seniors who properly support us behind the scene. I want to symphatize and take care of them as if we’re real sisters because I want Nogizaka’s bright future exist.

ーTo be strict is hard (?). Yes. I’d like to do it based on my experience so I won’t make mistakes.

ーOn May 24th, Nogizaka46’s 3rd album “Umarete kara hajimete miteta yume” is released. It has a good sales record until now. I think this is a piece that summarizes the major turning point(s) within the group history, from Saito Asuka 1st center song “Hadashi de Summer” until 3rd gen 1st original song “Sanbanme no kaze”. What kind of impression do you receive from this album? The album art is completely different from what we have ever had, like, we have so many members there (laughs). And, there are plenty of recorded songs and bonus footage, too.

ーThe bonus footage contains many flashback moments on the past year and we can feel something has changed from then. Unlike “Boku ga iru basho” and “Kikkake” which had a strong Nogizaka’s graceful feeling in the past, the title track this time “Skydiving” is instead a refreshing summer song. That’s right. “Skydiving” is my favorite song. Both the choreography and performance costume is unique and cute; very fresh.

ーYou like it so much, don’t you. You also participated in a new song “Watabokori” along with Kitano and Terada. It’s a 2nd gen exclusive unit song that you haven’t ever had, right? It’s the first. Perhaps it’s unusual to see only 3 person from the 2nd gen singing together, but I’m happy. It finally felt like I was belonged to the 2nd gen.

ーCompared to other Nogizaka46 songs, it’s also pretty simple and has a vibe of you guys singing while playing guitar on the street. The lyrics gently implied that dustballs represent of what’s inside our mind, but it isn’t too implicit (?). I’m singing while thinking so that “I’ve had enough of this” feel in the song should reach the listener. There are many new challenges too this time, so isn’t it interesting to have different sides of Nogizaka shown?

ーThis album is a great opportunity to show songs with the different aspects from what you usually had. You can experiment with new tunes as well as units combination more and more. Yep. Some songs would surely be performed during the zenkoku tour and if you miss that, there’s a chance that they won’t be performed at upcoming concerts for a while. It’s also very important to listen to album songs before coming to a show. Ah, this isn’t a promotion by the way, just an advice (laughs).

ーAlright (laughs). Because isn’t it frustrating when you watch a concert but don’t know the songs? I also like going to other artist’s concert and with knowing all their songs, the fun would last all along. If an exciting song came up, you would go “There it is!” just from hearing the intro. But even when there are unknown songs, I’d be happy if you’re willing to learn and start liking that song from that concert.

ー“Asahinagu” stage play, only Nagoya performance is remaining. (Interview takes place after Osaka performance) Yes, finally. 27 performances in almost a month and no day off between each performance in different places, so it was really hard.

ーYou’re given the role of Ichido Nene who is high-spirited. It was difficult to play because I have the opposite personality (laughs).

ーYou didn’t have much experience, right. Except for “16nin no Principal” and “Joshiraku” which was around 2015. Originally, were you interested in stage play and acting? I can’t speak loudly and bad at expressing emotions with my whole body, so I’m also not good in the stage play itself. I thought it’s gonna be hard, but there was an opportunity for me to watch a play called “Fushin” by Mitani Kouki. Detailed expression was perfectly performed on stage; even without too much exaggeration, I noticed that the feelings were conveyed to the audience. I then got to feel like trying hard.

ーIn addition to acting, you also have to learn Naginata this time. I observed the practice session, it seemed tough. I got buffer thanks to it (laughs). That’s why I can’t wear sleeveless clothes lately. I would look like some macho man in an American movie (laughs). It’s my biggest problem these days.

ーDancing uses different muscle, right. It’s completely different. Moreover, the armor itself weighs 10 kg; it feels like I was swaying the 2 meters sword while holding a baby. I was wobbly at first, but can overcome it in high spirits now.

ーHave you changed your consciousness for acting through this play? A lot. The director, Itagaki (Kyouichi), taught me many things about the play that I could make us of in the future. I learned a lot. I also try changing it by myself little by little every time because there are many performances (?). Compared to movie, stage play is a live thing and there are more room for improvisation; we do it on our own, if it isn’t good, we can reevaluate and make the best of it next time. This time there are also parts where it little bit feels like I’m just doing a club activity, to face the play everyday that way makes me happy.

ーActually I got an opportunity to interview Itagaki as soon as the practice session began. I asked his impressions on each Nogizaka46 member [who were involved] and regarding you, he said, “Hates to lose and has a strong eye-stare. She’s quiet, but her fighting spirit is burning.” Ehh, I’m glad (laughs).

ーDo you think that you hate to lose? I guess so. Perhaps it’s perfectionism. I don’t show it much, but I always feel like “this isn’t good enough” for many things.

ーYou have also been recruited as a regular model of female fashion magazine “ar”. Your individual activities are steadily increasing. Compared to one year ago, haven’t environment quite changed? A year ago… What was I doing a year ago?

ーBefore the 15th single “Hadashi de Summer” release (July 2016), your senbatsu comeback [on Harujion] were announced. I see. Well, I finally returned. However, I was still at the end of the third row that time, so I had to work harder from there. I realised that our worries change depending on the position. There’ll be troubles wherever you are, and also rewards. But, as expected, I think that I’m not satisfied.

ーWhat is the thing that you’re lacking the most now? I want to become more experienced, or precisely a stronger person. While talking more with people from across the world–for example, co-star and others from stage play or TV drama–taking into account their opinions a bit to the way of thinking and living that I had, maybe it’s not like I start becoming an adult, but… I guess that’s sort of important.

ーI see. So, with the increase of individual jobs, what changed the most? I must be even more responsible to meet the expectations of having so many things demanded from me. Whether it’s radio broadcasting or magazine photoshoot, I shouldn’t be too familiar with each work. Of course it’s important to get accustomed to, but if you don’t use a different and fresh approach every time, the other party might not want to work with you again. I always try providing topics and freshness from here as well, and I think that I must tell you that I’m motivated and want to do more things, so even though I’m neither passive or too agressive, I try little by little to get in to many places (?).

ーIt’s been 4 years since you joined Nogizaka46 in May. Yeah. It’s been long since it was unveiled at the Principal on May 5th, 4 years ago. Which means I’m aging, too (laughs).

ーI kept on thinking, amongst the 2nd generation, you had the most tremendous upheaval in the last 4 years. In autumn 4 years ago, you were airdropped as “Barrette” center (7th single released in November 2013); from there you had experienced being in various positions in senbatsu, then under, and even coming back to senbatsu again. It’s a special thing, isn’t it.

ーI think Nogizaka46 is also changing in the past 4 years because of you. Especially for the past year, the change is rapid. Graduation also constantly happened. I get “I saw Nogi on TV” or “You guys topped the music chart” a lot from people, so for just a little I realised that we’re riding that momentum, but for me, both as a member of the group and as an individual, I feel that I’m still lacking of so many things.

ーI see. Despite what others said, do you personally think that Nogizaka is selling out well now? For example when I recently saw Shiraishi’s (Mai) photobook scored a great record on news, it seems like she’s indeed a wonderful person (laughs). I didn’t feel that way first because we’re always together in the same group but when I see her objectively, she is amazing; I often talk with Kitano (Hinako).

ーBy the way, the other day I asked Shiraishi and Sakurai (Reika) a similar question and they answered, “I don’t feel that we’re selling out at all.” Everyone in Nogi still has a lot of such reactions. Perhaps one’s surroundings may have a big influence on such things. Say, as an actress in a play, I must do my best so I don’t lose to other actress–I have to hold on to such pride, or rather, I have to avoid from defeated by saying that says it all happened just because I’m a member of Nogizaka46 or just because I’m an idol.

ーBut, don’t you slightly feel wanted by the world? The number of people coming to handshake meetings and opportunities to appear in various CMs are increasing. That’s right. I haven’t heard much “I like Nogizaka” from my friend before but when I hear “Today, my best friend’s child who’s a Hori-chan oshi is coming” or “My ex-classmate will come with a Hori-chan oshi to watch” from “Asahinagu” co-star, I’m surprised that there are people who know me! In addition to it, they are also willing to like me because, say, they often watch me on TV; I feel like this is really happening (?).

Post-2017 Under Live Series: Hina, Maaya, Iori

This is the second part!

☆ Kawago Hina

It was a concert born in difficulties; rewarded with double double encore near the end. We really used up everything’s that we’ve got. 8000%. Hina did everything Hina could’ve done this time….

“Under can make their dreams come true. There’s nothing we can’t do.” (Karin said this.)

“Despite of being called the weakest, we’re the strongest.” (Chiharu said this.) I second to that. I’m glad I could work together with strong 11 people.

In the final day, I served as a center for

・Umareta mama de ・Hidari mune no yuuki ・Senpuuki ・Ima, hanashitai dareka ga iru

It was really fun! Might be the first time for me to center without too much worrying! During Hidarimune, having childhood photos in the footage felt like I was producing myself; I was more enthusiastic than the usual. Thank you for “Hina-chan is cute” call.

The featured members got to talk at the last MC session. I think everyone who watched understand. In that session, members would say very nice things with burning passion, while breaking into tears…

“It isn’t like her at all, yeah?” Members and fans were surprised that I talked about my real feelings for the first time.

I’m really bad at telling serious stuffs. I had the opportunity to speak serious for the first time. I thought of quitting to tell my real intention until the last minute… but, well, fuck it. [Can’t find any other phrase to express that. Sry.] While being agitated, I talked in the end…

Ah, it’s so lame and embarassing~~ It’s my first time showing that, maybe it won’t happen in the future again, so it’s rare…

But you know, members and fans were listening to me with their gentle warm eyes and I was able to speak with confidence. When centering a song, I think I had much less negative thoughts and fears now.

It may sound selfish but I don’t want abandonment. Even if Hina gains just one new fan after the concert, I think it’s good when the number increases…

Being a fan of mine would be pretty frustrating. I’m not in a position that’s easy to see. I’m thinking too negative but I guess it’s true for the fans who have been supporting me. It’s really hard because Hina doesn’t have many jobs; it’s difficult finding ways to support me. But I’m always thanking everyone and I’ll definitely repay them someday. For each single I’m moving backwards so honestly it’s still a long way to go… I’m positive, however. As Karin have said,

“Under can fullfil dreams too. There’s nothing we can’t do.”

So, I’ll make my fans happy, although it can’t be done without having you on my side.

At first I was worried whether the 12 of us can pull 4 performances off. Isn’t the power of many is better than the power of few? I was afraid of being told that the previous under lives were better than the one we had.

The numbers this time; Ookami, Tossa, Koko ni iru riyuu; all has a high level of performance in the term of singing and dancing. During rehearsal I couldn’t get a grasp on so many things. It seemed like I could’ve ruined our group’s solid performance. But, my anxiety gradually went away and was completely gone by the time I had to perform. We practiced hard, stayed behind until late night, and our uneasiness had turned into self-confidence as a result.

Each member had a strong ambition. The stage was successful because these 12 people got it together. But I don’t want to be too satisfied. With everyone, without lacking anyone, I want you to see our perfomance on a bigger stage next time! I’ll definitely go for it.

It’s also because of you all we could have a concert like this. Please continue supporting us from now on.

In the venue full of fans and towels, when I see your smile as I approached the audience seat from the stage, I really, really didn’t want to disappoint everyone. Thank you for such a wonderful time. For those who didn’t make it this time, please visit next time.

It started and finished in an instant. To share that moment with everyone made it an important memory. Thank you very much for lots of encouragement and support. Staff members who was involved in the production, thank you for the wonderful stage.

･Kimi wa boku to awanai hou ga yokatta no kana ･Hatsukoi no hito wo ima demo ･Namida ga mada kanashimi datta koro ･Oide Shampoo I served as the center for those 4 songs!

I sang Kimiboku’s first line and Hatsukoi’s ending bridge line on solo, but I was nervous because it was my first time. If my singing voice reached to everyone, that’d be the best thing in this live (^^)

The mentor praised my dancing and before I start, the staff told me, “Be confident because you can sing well.” I was happyyy♪

Miria, who was the center this time, shoved off the pressure; she was trustworthy and reliable, so I got energetic and couraged too!

I will keep on improving from now onヽ(*^^*)ノ

Uhh, I can’t put together my sentences well… In short, I want to say that I’m still not done. Just see. Even if I crumble, I’ll bounce back.

Post-2017 Under Live Series: Karin, Ami, Chiharu

Konnifuckingchiwa, mates!

I decided to make this series as a tribute to the current amazing 12 Nogizaka under members and the wondrous live (triple encore, guys) they had on 4/20~4/22. I didn’t see many people talking about it, so… ^_^

To read below are some impressions and feelings each members have about the concert, taken from their blog entries. I actually have omitted unimportant and irrelevant details (like how Maaya talked about her 19th birthday). I didn’t include photos too since it would take too much space. Go to their blog pages and just snatch the pictures.

Please be aware that I’m still learning Japanese (my tutor is Google Translate and the internet) and I’m honestly terrible at it (and I still do these whole stuffs anyways), so there will be a bunch of mistranslations and grammatical errors everywhere since English isn’t my first language either. If you’d like to send in corrections, suggestions, or critiques… I’d be glad to receive and read all of them.

I’m feeling worn out…

This time we did a project called “Fantastic 3”! It plans to feature three members per show as the centers! My turn was on the 4/21 show (^-^)

I centered Kimiboku, Hatsukoi, Namikoro, Harujion, and got a lot of solo parts too! I was happy to get a lot of solo parts in songs that requires good singing (*‘ω’*) I hope my singing voice reached into your hearts.

We are the weakest 12 members, but made the strongest concert!

There were many topic changes during MC, but I handled it with ease because the others trusted and let me do it my way! Thanks to all members ♡ I’m happy being with these 12 people~~ I really like them.

I was happy to have such a fiery live! Staffs, members, and fans! Thank you, thank you very much!

Under members are still aiming for the top.

It finished well! I’m full of sense of accomplishment and security I have never felt before. Thank God, I’m so glad it finished well!

I usually talked during MC too, but I was even more nervous than the usual this time. I was scared until the first day begins.

Honestly, I wasn’t in the best condition when this live started. I would hate myself if I ruined everyone’s performance. That’s why, I sincerely prayed so this under live would be more successful than the past ones.

Now that it’s all done, I think we have made another historic live using the power of just 12 people.

When it was first decided “Would the audience seats be filled?” “Would any of you really come?” “Would it be possible for only 12 people to nail it?” I was honestly very anxious… But was it the best live I ever had? I think so.

The triple encore was the best reward for us. Your voices and thoughts, I was happy to receive them. From my deepest heart, thank you!!! I love everyone!!! You are all the best companions.

Nogizaka46 - Fuusen wa Ikiteiru

It’s an important song for only 12 people to sing. We began and finished our performances with this song. One big balloon rose at every closing and many small balloons fell in the end of 4th show. It suprised us, too. And the ocean of lightsticks was exquisite.

“My emotions build up / I’ll surely get strong enough to fly”

We’re able to go higher. Let’s do our best.

I brought the balloon home because it’s beautiful ♡ …but I think I left it in the car! Now I remember! Lol

I’m looking forward to hear your impressions at the handshake meeting tomorrow ☺

The meaning of “I was about to cry when…” is…? Face-to-face encounter with the “nervous” and the “uplifted” Berisa!

Watanabe (aka Berisa), was the only participant from Keyakizaka46 to make an appearance on Special Anniversary Stage for “LOWRYS FARM” this time. With casual outfit and loose-curled medium bob hair, she walked on her first TGC runway.

Before the nerve-racking runway…

― Your face looks stiff. Are you still nervous?

Yes, I am, since this is the first time I’m catwalking on my own. I want to do my best not to be overawed by the atmosphere and condition around.

― Please let us know the feeling you get after hearing the announcement of your participation in TGC 2017 S/S.

I knew that it would be scary to be here alone. I was more anxious than happy… but now the feeling is balanced. Because I got an opportunity like this, I want to perform confidently.

― Did you get encouragement from your group members?

Since the morning, I have received messages from the members in a row. Saito Fuyuka sent me a voice message (laughs). It sounded like they were just chattering “Do your best~!” all along there (laughs).

After the uplifting runway…

― Thank you for your hard work. How was it?

I was very nervous. As expected, I was still not used of being by myself. But I was glad to have people cheering for me.

― I want you to appear on the next TGC runway too.

If I’m allowed, I’d like to do it again. With other members too! I will work hard so in the future I would be called again.

More anxious than audition…

― Congratulations on becoming non-no exclusive model! When delivering speech after the announcement on their 45th anniversary event (3/21), your nervousness were showing.

That might have been the most strained speech so far. It was more tensed than my Keyakizaka46 audition perhaps… (laughs).

― You greeted 800 readers after the news was unveiled to the press. When Watanabe’s name was called, there was a loud cheer from the hall.

That was very delighting. Although the announced was made just short before, it was a pleasure seeing the female audience holding up “Berisa” boards and fans.

Worried… I’m worried about everything (laughs)

― What kind of model do you want to become?

I would like to become a role model for girls to adore and imitate. For that, I would like to learn all about posing, expressions, and many other things first.

― Are you worried about model activities?

Worried… I’m worried about everything (laughs).

― You already did a photoshoot once right.

Yes, but I still don’t really know what to do because I was under instructions… I would like to be able to do it myself.

― Is there something you immediately start to do since officially becoming a model?

I began to think that even if I don’t have much time I will take hot baths properly. I had done it before, but I felt a little skipping in the next morning when I got up early (bitter smile). Recently, I massaged myself too hard I was about to cry in the bath (laughs).
