We want to change the stigma about building websites: you don’t need to be tech-savvy to start an online business, not at all! In fact, you can be a complete noob & you’ll do just fine. All you need is the right tools! 👌🏻 • We no longer sell Blogger templates. I know these were a great option for those wanting to start their online presence on a free platform, but let’s face it – it’s been a long time coming. Blogger platform is very limited and well...temporary. We want our clients to focus on building long-lasting online businesses & here is why we will only focus on self-hosted WordPress websites since now on 💻 • Custom designs. We will only be taking very selective clients for custom development. It truly takes a village to raise a child. This shady mirror selfie was taken at the spa yesterday as our dear friends @beata.tiskevic & @sauliusbaradinskas kindly sent us there to get couples massages & get some rest 🧖‍♀️🧖 Benedict spent the morning having a play date with our dear friend Indre & loved every minute 👩‍👦This morning, I woke up with my head clear & heart full of love. I feel like we must be doing something right to be surrounded with all of the wonderful people in our lives. Having a community & feeling the support every step of the way is something I feel greateful for every single day. ❤️ I know we might get busy & lost into our routine sometimes, so I really want to at least take a minute and dedicate this post to appreciate all or the wonderful people around us. You guys bring joy, knowledge, meaningful conversations, pointless jokes, homemade cakes, hugs, understanding, your time & lots of love into our days. The world is your oyster. The biggest lie I see you tell yourself is the one where you think that your skills are not good enough. You think the life will start after you graduate or once you finally read that life-changing book. The funny and well, the real thing is, you don’t need to have any special skills to start anything new, to start a successful business or train yourself new skills. You may not feel special just yet & you don’t have to be. Take me for example, I had zero understanding about the blogging industry back when I’ve decided to register my own personal website and here I am – doing this full-time seven years later. The thing is, I didn’t allow my lack of knowledge to stop me from trying something new. My skills have grown together with my blog and I now think this was the best education I have ever received. There’s a reason I always push my ‘just start’ ideas into everyone’s heads – I believe that the only true way to learn is to actually roll up your sleeves and go for it. You might fail, you might understand this is not for you, but at least you’ll be satisfied that you’ve tried. Start where you are. Use what you have. I love havinf coffee with interesting people. ☕️ What I hate is being used or feel like I’ve taken advantage of others. 🙅‍♀️ In the last year, I brought coffee-meetings back into my life. I’ve been avoiding those for years, thinking that most often they’re just a waste of time. Turns out, I simply had the wrong approach. Here’s what worked for me: ____ • I know my desired out come, but try to not lead with it. I want to get those answers, but don’t feel like it’s fair for the other person to feel like they are on a tight schedule. It should still be fun for both of us! 🧐 • I prepare in advance & I hate secrets 🤦‍♀️ I do my research and possibly disscuss the purpose of the meeting upfront. • I ask quality answers. I don’t expect for someone to teach me magic of their work, I really put effort into picking their brain on the topics that interest me & brings that spark in their eyes. 🙌🏻 • I know when to leave. No matter how well the conversation is going, I respect schedules & try to end the meeting on the agreed time. 🗣 • I always, always make sure to follow up and thank for the time & knowledge I’ve been shared. If I ask for tips, but never try them out, I’ve only wasted someone else’s time and that’s, my friends, is simply rude. 🤝 ___ Building a strong community of eager-to-grow, hard-working people around you is the game-changer. I’ve been obsessed with decluttering for the last few days, so my home is far from this perfect shot. 🙈 I’ve been re-organising my clothes into piles to get rid of/sell/give away, re-thinking what things we really need and which ones we haven’t used in ages, hiding toys we can use later on or putting away the ones Ben is no longer interested in. We were pretty concious about the things that we buy for the last few years, but I want to take it to the whole other level. I haven’t realised how egocentric our relationship were until we had a baby. As much as I’d hate to admit this - we weren’t ready. Almost 10 years of knowing each other and this tiny human in minutes has managed to shaken up our world and the way treat each other. Mean words were said and quite a few tears were shared, but despite everything, I can not imagine sharing this experience with anyone else. I live for those minutes when I see our son’s eyes brighten up when you walk into the room or when you wake up in the middle of the night just to check up on him (and me) is beautiful. I can not find any other words for it. During those moments I know we can survive it all. My world has never been this colorful, full of emotions and everyday lessons. I feel like this is the strongest we have ever been & that’s just a start. We are not perfect. We say stupid things. We carry scars from the past.
