My Kamehacon.

I was really excited for kamehacon being brought to the east coast in NJ at the Atlantic City Convention Center. This con center was where Animenext was held for 3 years before Covid hit and I missed that place so much.

So when Kamehacon announced that’s, I was very pumped to go. I’ve seen so many wonderful things from pictures I’ve seen in Texas. Looking forward to all of that.

Got there Friday to the con center only for it to look like nothing was happening. Lobby was dead. Everything was literally being held in one big room.

I was excited to see the props and things to take pictures with like nimbus, space pod and Time Machine like I’ve seen in past events. But none of that was there. The one big room where the whole event was held is where usually dealers hall would be at Anext.

There was no barrier between the two stages and most panels were held at the same time, so for some people (me. I’m people) it could be a sensory nightmare + gaming was right next to panel #2 so add more noise to your already overstimulated brain.

This may have been poorly planned and not thought of using more room to this con center but it was what we got. I knew to come to this con with no expectations and just let things flow.

I hope if they do this next time, they bring it to meadowlands expo center instead. There’s enough room for that con to be held there.

Hopefully next time the schedule is released a week early and not 2 days before con. There was group gatherings that I’m pretty sure never happened. A few of us were aware of them, but nothing came of them.

There’s also this con ending at 6pm every day. Not like there was much to do.

Anyways Other than that and doing 100 laps around the room, I met a lot of people and made friends so I guess that’s all that matters, right?

I can’t believe in the 2 years that went by Yuhi never fixed his duel disk. Once Yuudias came back and started dueling again he used Varivelgear.

Buddy. You had time. I get you were in the “I don’t care about anything” phase, but could’ve fixed his duel disk during that time 😵‍💫
