He huffed “It’s common sense.” Mitsunari noted harshly as the continued walking, his eyes followed the direction where the other pointed and he nodded “This is good then.”

-- -- "Ah? Is it now?"he questioned and smiled again. He wasn't sure was the other one trying to make him feel bad, but he wasn't someone who was easy to make feel gloomy.

"Mmm-m, want me to leave now?"

-- -- The raven haired one had just entered the shop and before he could think about anything he was already looking around with an excited look on his face.

"AAH! This place is awesome!"

he said, then walking closer to the person, poking him on the back. 

"Ne, are you working here?"

The young boy was on his father shop, it was a rather cold day and his friends had other things to do, so he was stuck in there bored. At least, it was a day without alot of costumers so this was good for him. He started playing his Lyre as he hummed a familiar tune and he didn’t notice that someone had actually entered their shop.

-- -- He smiled brightly his wide smile when she told her name. He had also never heard this name anywhere, and he had a good memory, so there was no way they would have never met before. Or if they had, they probably had not talked at all.

"A tea shop? That can be possible! I'm pretty sure if we have met it must have been there!"

"I'm sorry but have we met before? You look familiar somehow."

-- -- The raven haired young man could hear someone talking, so he quickly turned away. He was pretty sure he didn't know who this person was, yet she seemed to have seen him before.

"I think this is the first time we meet, miss, but there is a change you've seen me somewhere! Maybe if I'd know your name I could remember something -- My name is Kou!"

— — “Ah, so that’s the reason! May I ask who sent you? I can’t give this kind of medicine to anyone, you know!”

He was always more than happy to see new faces, and he really wanted to know this man’s name. Maybe he’d figure it out a bit later, he was now too excited to know was he really a part of the Shinsengumi or not. 

Miyoshi blinked at the man’s cheerfulness but continued on. “H-hai, I was sent here to pick up some medicine…?” he partly asked peeking through the open door at all the curious things in his shop he never had seen before.

— — He took a step back, moving his hand behind his head as he scratched the back of his head. His eyebrows were wrinkled, since he was quite surprised, not expecting her to react this way. She must really want to protect herself hardly. But that was too much.

"I’m not the type to spread information like this, not everyone does that, you know. I can leave you alone if that’s it, but I can’t help it… so interested I was in you!" 

The small dragon hated it when someone got a tad bit too close for comfort. He may have introduced himself but she wasn’t a fool. Humans had hurt her in the past, especially hunters who tried to kidnap her. She just got away from some men who had noticed how tiny she was and that her eye color was different. “Back up Kou-san.” she growled. She was getting to nervous for this and she knew that her dragon form would more than likely trust this guy because he is being nice to her. “Keep that information about my scent to yourself. I already have had enough trouble with humans as it is.” she hissed.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't think anyone was behind me. Are you okay?" Wolfie fusses over the person she elbowed.

— — The onmyouji shook his hands in front of the unfamiliar character before answering; 

"Yes, yes, I’m alright! I’m not even surprised you thought you were alone, this place is usually really quiet, so I was surprised as well to see someone else than me here. Were you going to the forest or to the town? I’m just curious if we’re going to the same place~"

the man nodded as a 'yes'.

"You could say it like that as well!" 

"Do you want me to show you what kind of things you can find in here?" 

Souji blinked.  ”A spell?? No, nothing like that.  To be honest, I had never seen the shop before so I thought I’d explore…. you sell magic?”

— — “You don’t have to worry, I’m not going to hurt you or ask any questions if you don’t want to! It’s just this scent of yours that tells me you ain’t human!” 

"Are you afraid because you don’t know who I am? The name is Kou, now I ain’t a stranger to you anymore!"

Well the poor girl was ready to run now. Instincts told her to book it back to the others and into the arms of her mother-figure. Being seventeen didn’t mean she was free of fear. No, she was if anything a bit more scared than most teenagers. “Leave me alone.” she hissed.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't think anyone was behind me. Are you okay?"

— — “.. itai..”

The blonde haired man who had just fallen down slowly stood up, having a rather peaceful smile on his face. He wasn’t angry, he wasn’t hurt and it was just an accident. 

Raising his gaze at the one standing now in front of him, he nodded, wiping the dirt away of his clothes. 

"Everything is okay, I’m not hurt and you don’t seem to be hurt. You’re lucky it wasn’t anyone else, someone could have gotten reeeally angry!"

-- -- "Mm-m! You're right, this is the very first time we meet, but I have to say, I'm really surprised! I've met so much new people today, but it's just.. amazing~  -- Oh, you can call me Kou!"

— — The man started laughing, it was hilarious. So it was a secret? If she really wanted to keep it as one, she should have reacted in another way. She could have even said something properly. Not that he minded it at all. 

"So I was right!" 

He wasn’t sure what kind of creature she was, but human she wasn’t. He was now more than curious. 

"MEWR!" The poor girl squeaked. Crap! This was not good! She was close to panicking and if this kept up, she would reveal that he was correct.

— — Haji-nii? Did this girl mean Hajime Saito? If yes, then he could just imagine the situation. Now the only thing he was wondering about was what kind of trick it was if she was so sure he would laugh at it. 

"He didn’t? It’s pretty rude to make someone sad!"

A soft chuckle escaped his lips and he patted the girl’s head gently.

"But don’t be sad! Maybe he couldn’t just understand the trick! Can you show it to me?"

      Slowly lifting up her head to look at the stranger before her, the commander’s daughter gave a little sniffle and rubbed her tears away with her sleeve. What was wrong? It was only one of the biggest disasters of all time! How it could have happened was beyond her.              ”H-Haji-nii’s mean… He didn’t laugh at my trick!”
