First Year
Genre: slice of life?/ angst at the end a bit
Words: 3.5k
Summary: continuation of “First Series” Part 1// Part 2// Part 3// Part 4// Part 5// Part 6// Part 7 // Part 8
I’m sorry this has taken so long. Life happens. Also, I know this is a big jump, but I really want to write a different story because I have sort of lost my enthusiasm for this one. I’m sorry guys. This one is long because it is the first part of the final story. I hope you enjoy it. I wrote it and realized it was too long for a single post, so I had to split it. I also refer to Jaebum as both JB and Jaebum in it. Don’t yell at me. It was just easier while writing it.
Tumblr media
~~“Oh my god, boys, it’s almost 2am. I have to get you home so you can get some proper sleep for tomorrow!” You started to gather up your stuff and rushed the boys out of the studio and the building. Things were going to be very interesting from now on. ~~
You woke that morning before your alarm clock. You stared at it for a few minutes and then decided to just get up anyway. Today was a pretty important day and you hadn’t slept very much for the past few nights mentally preparing for it.
Your performance review was today.
It had been one year since you started at JYPE as an assistant manager. Things had gotten crazy from the beginning, but you soon learned how to handle it. Your supervisor had trusted you with increasingly more important tasks over the past few weeks, as he had begun to also manage the new trainees.
The whole thing was going smoothly, except for the boys becoming aware of you and Jaebum. At the beginning it was only Jinyoung that knew the truth. One by one the other boys found out, or figured out, that you and Jaebum were in a relationship.
You sat at your breakfast table sipping coffee and remembered the time that Mark found out.
~~
You and Jaebum had been doing a really good job of hiding your relationship for the past month. You were actually proud of yourself because you were usually not that great at keeping secrets. One day, Mark, Jinyoung, and Jaebum all had a free period at the same time, so you decided, with the approval of your supervisor, to have them record a random dance practice with just the three of them. You figured most fans would be okay with a random video of the boys having fun dancing to random songs.
You dropped the younger members off at their schedules and then took the older boys to the company practice rooms. You and jaebum walked behind the other two, and Jinyoung did a great job of keeping Mark distracted while they walked. You and Jaebum hadn’t been able to spend much time alone together, so these times were nice. You felt Jaebum’s hand graze yours every once in a while. You wanted desperately to hold hands, but the security cameras everywhere had different ideas.
You walked past an area that was under construction – JYP wanted to redo the floors in several of the rooms due to wear – and the door suddenly opened right in front of you. You would have smacked your face right into the door if Jaebum hadn’t reacted quickly and pulled you closer to him. You had made a slight noise of fright when it happened and the two boys ahead of you turned around in time to see Jaebum rescue you.
“It’s alright Y/N.” Jaebum said quietly into your ear. That was when you realized just how close you were. Your head was buried in his chest and your hand was clinging to his shirt. His hands were wrapped around you, one tightly holding onto your waist and the other on your head.
“I’m so sorry! I thought the hallway was clear! I’m so sorry!” The worker who had opened the door kept apologizing to you, but Jinyoung and Jaebum (after he had finally let you go) kept insisting it was fine since no one got hurt.
You began walking back towards the practice room, but as soon as the door closed Mark turned on Jaebum and you, crossing his arms.
“What the hell is going on with you two?” He asked.
You were the first to reply, using your newfound acting skills.
“What are you talking about Mark?” You asked as you were moving to the corner to put your bag on a chair.
“I mean,” he started, “what was that back there? You and Jaebum have been keeping something from us for a while and I want to know what it is.”
~Damn, he is observant~ you thought as you looked from Mark to Jaebum. Jaebum was looking back and forth from Mark and Jinyoung. You could tell that he was pleading Jinyoung to help, but Jinyoung just stood there and said,
“This is your issue, not mine. You should have been more careful. I’m not gonna admit to knowing anything.”
“How much more careful could we be?!” Jaebum called out.
“Ha!” Mark exclaimed, “There is something between you two! What happened? And when?”
You looked at Jaebum with defeat and shrugged. He looked worried, but then he looked back at Mark and said,
“Okay Mark, but you can’t tell anyone else. If this gets out then it means real trouble for Y/N.”
“Alright.”
Jaebum looked at you one more time before sighing hard and quietly stating,
“Y/N and I are dating.”
“I knew it.” Mark looked unsurprised as Jaebum admitted to his suspicions. He continued, “You have been glued to your phone whenever Y/N isn’t around. Also you two always end up next to each other anytime we go someplace.”
You had to admit, he had a point. You had thought you were hiding it pretty well, but Mark made some good points. Mark was one of the more observant members so, you were still not too worried about the others. For now.
~~
Your phone went off, jarring you back into the present. That was your original alarm for getting up. It was time to get dressed and head to work. At least today you didn’t have to pick up the boys from their dorm.
Carefully picking an outfit that said you were serious about working, but also comfortable enough to be able to run away from screaming fan girls with the boys, you made sure you had your keys and phone and key card. The only thing you decided not to bring today was the bracelet that Jaebum had gifted to you.
Today was an important day and you wanted to bring it with you for courage, but more than that you didn’t want anything that could connect you to him in any special way. It was dangerous enough just being close to each other lately.
You took a deep breath and headed out the door, ready to face your performance review.
You had made it to the JYPE building in record time and were working at your desk when you supervisor came in looking a bit worried. He looked around and caught your eye. You stood up to say good morning, but before you finished greeting him, he rushed up to you and grabbed your shoulders, suddenly asking,
“Have you looked online today?!”
He sounded serious. You replied that you try not to look online because of the nature of their job.
“Why?” you asked.
“An issue has come to the attention of the press. I was hoping you had seen it so we could talk about it before the meeting.”
“What meeting? We weren’t supposed to have a meeting today.”
“JYP called one just a few minutes ago. Do you ever check you phone??”
You rushed back to your desk and grabbed your phone. It was on silent and you had a bunch of messages. One of them was from Jaebum. It just said “BIG PROBLEM.”
You knew then the reason your supervisor looked worried. Someone had found out.
As you sat in the meeting your mind was racing. You had never experienced anyting like this before.  You were barely listening to anything the PR team was saying.  However, your name was brought into the conversation and you snapped back to reality.
“Y/N. Have any of the other members seen the articles yet?”
“Uhm…” you hesitated, “Yes. Jaebum and Jinyoung have both seen some of them. They were the first people to contact me. A bit later Mark also messaged me asking about it, but so far they have kept the other members from seeing anything.”
“Good. However, this matter needs to be squashed since there is no truth to it. People have found the most ridiculous evidence that the two are dating. It just doesn’t make sense.” Said JYP. The PR team responded with “We have already released a statement regarding the allegations against them. However, people just keep providing more evidence that they believe is credible.”
Your manager suddenly spoke up saying, “Are these rumors really false though?”
Your head swiveled so fast you thought you may have pulled a muscle. You looked at your manager with wide, questioning, eyes. Why would he say that? Does he know something?
“Well, we assume they are false, but I suppose we should ask the people involved and get the story straight.” Said one of the PR people.
“Y/N call the boys.” JYP commanded.
“All of them, sir?”
“Yes, have all of them come in. I want to know if any of them have specifics about this situation.”
“Yes, sir.”
You excused yourself and called Jaebum. He would be able to get all the boys to the meeting room without too much effort.
“Y/N! What is happening? I saw the article they released about it being false but there are still so many new articles coming out. What should we do?”
Jaebum answered right away and began the assault of questions.
“First, calm down. The boss wants you guys in the meeting now. Are you at the apartment?”
“We are already on our way to the company.”
“Good. Let me know when you arrive. I have to go back in now.”
“Okay.”
You hung up then hung your head. How could this happen today?
After a deep breath, you walk back into the room.
“They are on their way. They will be here soon.” You said to the questioning looks you received as soon as you opened the door again.
“Alright. Now, Y/N, what is your side of this?” JYP inquired.
There it was. It was time to tell the truth.
“These rumors are not true. I am not, and have never been in a relationship with Mark. We developed a close friendship due to mutual experiences in America and in Korea. There has never been anything romantic about the relationship. I see him as a someone to protect like a brother. That is all.”
As you finished you looked at JYP and his face was unreadable. He then relaxed into his chair, faced the PR team and asked, “Did you get that? Use it in the next statement and tell people the company will not stand for false allegations. Once the boys get here have Mark make a statement as well and have him post it to as many places as possible. Y/N, your SNS accounts are all private, correct?”
“Yes, they are, sir.”
“Good. Alright, I would like to speak to Y/N privately for a moment. When the boys arrive you may come back in with them.”
As your heart stopped beating for a minute, there was a resounding ‘yes, sir’ from the other people in the room. ~He wants to speak to me alone??~ you thought.  ~Why? Is he going to fire me? Oh god, I will never be able to find a job like this again. And how will I see Jaeboem after leaving?~ All of these thoughts were running through your head as the other people were leaving the room.
Your manager patted you on the shoulder as he was leaving. It was meant to be reassuring, but it felt more like a goodbye. You sat quietly until JYP spoke.
“Y/N. I know today is your evaluation and this situation happening today is extremely unfortunate. However, I have a personal question to ask you. Is that alright?” He was speaking very softly which meant he didn’t want anybody outside to overhear if they were still close by.
“Yes, sir. You can ask me.” Even though you were terrified of the question, you had little choice.
“Be honest. Even if you are not dating Mark, you are dating one of those boys aren’t you?”
Your eyes grew very large. How could he tell something like that when he was never around to see your interactions with them?
When you didn’t answer, he leaned back in his chair knowingly.
“I understand.” He said. “You are a similar age as a few of them and you spend a lot of time with them everyday. It doesn’t help that you are a beautiful young woman.”
This comment made you shiver coming from his mouth, but you said nothing as he continued.
“The boys are adults and their contract used to have a limitation on dating, but it no longer does, so there is nothing I can do about it.”
You breathed a small sigh of relief.
“However,” he continued, “If the actual truth were to be made public about the manager and the artist in question, it would not end well for either of you.”
You nodded your head in agreement. There was very little you could say at this point. The next question he asked wasn’t surprising, but the excitement in his voice did.
“So! Off the record, I am so curious! Which one of our boys is the lucky one?”
Taken aback and slightly disturbed by the interest this man had in their lives, you paused before you answered.
“With all due respect, sir, I still feel a little weird telling you who I am dating. We tried very hard to hide our feelings from each other for a while because we were afraid of how you would react. If you approve of the relationship, that would be amazing as I truly care for him, but I fear for his career if I were to tell you the truth.”
You were practically shaking saying all of this to his face, but he took it well. He replied after thinking for a few minutes.
“If I were to promise that, whoever it is, since they are adults, I will not fire you or make his life any more difficult, would you tell me then? Do you need it in writing?”
“I trust your word, sir. I am still very apprehensive about this but,” you paused considering what he said, “I will tell you. I have been seeing Jaebom, sir.”
The second you said Jaebeom’s name, your manager walked in with the boys trailing after. JYP barely had time to wipe the stunned look off his face. The boys filed in one after another, all sitting across from me and my manager. When Jaebeom walked in JYP couldn’t help but smile at him knowingly. You had the massive urge to face palm at his expression, but instead settled for a large sigh.
Jaebeom looked questioningly at JYP, then at you when he heard your sigh. You were avoiding eye contact with all of them. You really didn’t want anybody else knowing that you just confessed to dating an idol to their CEO.
As the last member of the PR team sat down, JYP looked at Mark and said, “Okay Mark. Y/N has already given her statement about your relationship. I will be honest, I am surprised you were so openly friendly with her that there had to be this misunderstanding.”
Mark replied, “I am sorry, sir. I didn’t realize treating her like I would a sister would make such a large commotion. I will be more careful from now on.”
They continued to talk and discuss what Mark would say in his statement on his SNS accounts and what the company would say about both of us. You sat and listened carefully. Taking notes for the future when you had to write a similar statement.
After the meeting you and the manager took them back to the dorms. Their schedules for the day had all been canceled or postponed. Mark was told to post the edited version of his statement once he received it.
You stayed in the car, reflecting. You were glad you hadn’t gotten fired but this was going to be even more complicated now that JYP knew. What if he decided to have JB do all his schedules with the other managers? He wouldn’t be that cold-hearted would he? You figured the best way to make everything look like it hadn’t effected the boys’ relationship was to do everything the same. At this point you were sure your manager knew as well. The only person that you weren’t sure about was Jackson. He had been getting busier and he had been getting more offers from China which he was exploring. The boys were all growing up.  It made you tear up a little bit thinking about it. You had grown quite fond of the boys and next year their contract was ending. Pretty soon they were all going to be living their own lives outside of JYPE and you would be managing some other group or artist. What will happen to you and JB? Will you still be together or will the pressure of keeping things secret be too much? You were worried about JB and his future as an artist. You knew he wanted to make music for as long as possible and to so that he had to remain unattached to some things. Was that going to include you?
You were now crying quite hard thinking about these things and all the stress of today’s events combined. You knew it was stupid but all you wanted to do was see Jaebum.
The boys had all gone inside and were sitting in the living room with their manager.
He spoke first, “Okay, so today was an adventure. How about we get everything out in the open right now so I don’t have any more surprises? Jaebum? Do you have anything to say?”
Jaebum looked up at their manager surprised and terrified.
“What do you mean? Today was about Mark and Y/N Manager! I have nothing to do with this.” Jaebum replied.
Mark and Jinyoung were also a little bit afraid of the manager asking Jaebum instead of Mark. They were the only ones who really knew the extent of the relationship between the two. They looked around at the others who were just confused. Jackson looked confused but also angry. Mark was the most worried about him. Jackson was a super gentle guy, but he could also be a bit possessive.
“Jaebum,” the manager sighed his name and crossed his arms, “I know that you are dating. I also know who it is. Did you think you could hide it from me?”
Jaebum looked from the manager to Mark to Jinyoung, for some sort of help, but Mark was busy watching Jackson’s reactions. Jaebum was thankful that the manager hadn’t said Y/N name, but looking around at the other boys, the realization started to dawn on them one by one.
“Shit.” Jaebum stood up, beginning to try and explain himself.
Mark had stood up as well, but it was for other reasons. He saw Jackson’s fists clenching slowly and the realization of the thing he hadn’t wanted to admit to himself. Mark watched it all go across his face and knew when he needed to put himself in between them. He nudged Jinyoung as he got up.
Jackson was in the middle of the room before Mark could get in front of him. He settled for just holding him back by his arm.
“You promised!” Jackson yelled at Jaebum. “You said neither of us would date her because of something like this! How could you go back on your word!”
Jaebum was taken aback by Jackson’s sudden rage, but not surprised. He knew this was coming sooner or later. It was better to get it over with now. He was grateful for Marks help and could see Jinyoung behind him watching to see if he needed to step in also.
“Jackson, let me explain-“ “NO! You said we were brothers and she was only going to cause problems! Now you are dating her behind my back! why did you go back on your word! And you!” he turned to look at Mark holding him back by his arm. “You knew too! That’s why you were hanging around her more than usual! You were covering for them! Get off me!”
Jackson tried to pull Mark off his arm but they were matched in strength.
Jinyoung stepped in and tried to control Jackson a bit, but to no avail. He was strong, but Jackson was angry. That makes people a lot stronger than usual.
The manager was trying to calm Jackson down as well, but he knew better than to get in the middle of this. It was his fault after all. He assumed the whole group knew and were just covering for their leader.
“ENOUGH!” Came a shout from the door.
You had walked in and seen this scene playing out.
You were sick of the secrets in the group and you wanted everyone to just go back to normal.

Words: 1.2k (sorry it’s so short)

Admin note: It has been so long, but here is another part to the story. I am sorry about how long it has taken. Not sure when the next one will be out, but please wait for me. :)
Tumblr media
Previously:
He hugged you back briefly, but he pushed you away just enough so he could kiss you again. This time it was more gentle and caring, like he wanted to make you believe what he had said was the truth.
As you two sat there in the room, shirts off, lips attached, someone was heading in the direction of the recording room.
Now:
Jinyoung hadn’t wanted to come back to the studio, mostly because Jaebum and you had both been giving off “leave us alone” vibes and Jinyoung wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.  Unfortunately he had left his phone on the couch and he needed it to contact Jackson. Grocery shopping with Jackson was always a chore because he had to keep him from getting distracted by shiny things and sales that he seemed to think they needed to take advantage of.
Jinyoung recalled one time they were at a store and there was a sale on whitefish. Jackson insisted that he buy some because “they are buy one get one! We have to take advantage and have some nice fish for dinner!” Jinyoung refused to buy it, but Jackson bought it anyway. It was still sitting in their freezer, untouched.
Walking closer to the studio, Jinyoung slowed. Jaebum looked like he wanted to punch everyone today, including himself, so Jinyoung figured you had an argument of some kind. He really didn’t want to walk in and see you two yelling at each other. However, what he got when he walked in was the opposite of that.
“What the hell you guys!?” Jinyoung shouted as soon as he opened the door and saw you two half clothed, you sitting on Jaebum’s lap, and attached at the lips. He slammed the door closed right away, but he stood there for a few moments.
Meanwhile in the studio…
You were one hundred percent focused on how Jaebum’s lips felt against your skin. This was everything you wanted. He moved from your lips down to you neck where he began to nibble ever so slightly. You couldn’t help yourself and let out a small noise of pleasure. That just made him more confident.
You knew very well how cocky Jaebum could get when he realized something he did pleased people. After your little outburst, he dove even deeper into your neck and shoulders, moving your bra strap aside forcefully because it was in his way. Everywhere he touched, everywhere he licked, felt like fire and ice. You couldn’t get enough. You wanted more of him. You forced him to stop sucking on your neck and look you in the eyes.
“I want you.” You said quietly.
“I want you too.” He replied, almost growling the words out.
You went in for another deep kiss that would have lead to you two falling on the floor, except there was a sudden interruption.
“What the hell you guys?!” You froze the second you heard Jinyoung’s voice. Fear ran down your spine and you felt Jaebum’s hands dig into your sides. You heard the door slam very quickly after Jinyoung’s shout and then you heard Jaebum whisper, “shit.”
A few minutes after that, you and Jaebum had your clothes back on and were sitting on the couch with Jinyoung and his furious energy standing before you. You couldn’t look him in the eye, so you just kept staring at the floor. Jaebum was also unable to look at Jinyoung.
“You two…. I don’t even know where to begin.” Jinyoung started to pace back and forth in front of you.
“I mean… You guys looked like you were gonna rip each other’s throats out when I left. How did this happen? WHY did this happen? Better yet, WHEN did this happen?” He stopped pacing long enough to kick Jaebum in the foot to force him to look at him and then continued to pace.
You looked over at Jaebum and couldn’t help but smirk. You listened as he tried to explain whatever it was that you and he were.
“Jinyoung…” Jaebum started, “I can’t control how I feel. You of all people know that I thought she was way to pretty to be a manager of a boy group when she started. The first day at the apartment I told you that. I tried so hard to hide my feelings from everyone, even myself, but when Jackson—” Jaebum stopped himself and looked down at his hands in his lap.
Jinyoung asked, “what about Jackson?”
It was at that point you realized it was your turn to say something. “Jinyoung, what I am about to tell you can never leave this studio.” You started and looked up at Jinyoung. He nodded his understanding.
“A couple months ago, Jackson kissed me outside the dorm. I tried to keep it a secret, but Jaebum had seen Jackson and I talking. The two of them ended up fighting, which is how Jaebum found out about the kiss.”
“Jackson and I fought because he kissed her without asking her first.” Jaebum added in an annoyed tone. “I told him that he needed to be more respectful, but he just got angry at me and asked why it was any of my business. I confessed that I had feelings for (Y/N) as well. After our conversation we were going to just let her forget everything, but Jackson has a problem with keeping his mouth shut…”
“Jaebum…” you warned.
“So that’s why you were angry that day. I wondered what had happened.” Jinyoung said. “Okay that answered none of my questions. However, I am glad I know about this now, so thank you for trusting me. Can you answer one of my previous questions now?”
You patted Jaebum’s leg softly, signaling that you would answer Jinyoung.
“First, this,” you motioned in between Jaebum and yourself, “only just happened. I am sorry you had to witness my moment of weakness. Jackson and Jaebum promised each other they would not act on their feelings, but since I have been drawn to Jaebum from the beginning, I had a hard time controlling myself after learning about his feelings.”
You looked at Jaebum out of the corner of your eye and saw him smirking to himself. You looked back at Jinyoung, who was calmly listening, and continued.
“Earlier today, when I hurt my ankle a member of the crew was helping me. A male member. I didn’t think anything of it, but on the way back Jaebum was angry at me and now I see that I was acting too casual about the interaction. That’s why we were fighting.”
You concluded your explanation and Jinyoung was nodding understandably. You hoped that he was going to keep this to himself and not jeopardize your job more than you already had. Suddenly, he stood up and stood in front of Jaebum.
“Hyung, be more careful, okay? If it had been another manager or JYP that came in here, we would never see noona again.” Was all that he said before holding out his hand for Jaebum to grasp. Using that hand he helped him off the couch and they did one of those ‘bro hugs’.  You also stood up and the clock in the corner of the room caught your eye.
“Oh my god, boys, it’s almost 2am. I have to get you home so you can get some proper sleep for tomorrow!” You started to gather up your stuff and rushed the boys out of the studio and the building. Things were going to be very interesting from now on.

Third Month Pt. 3
Genre: Angst/ Some clothes are involved, no smut (~yet~)
Words: 2.1k
Summary: Continuation of “First Series” Part 1// Part 2// Part 3// Part 4// Part 5// Part 6
Tumblr media
He just walked off without giving any specific details or if it was going to be just you two or if the boys were going to be here too. You hoped it was just the two of you so you could properly talk about everything that happened today.
It was starting to get late and you hadn’t had any messages from Jaebum. You had gone back to work after you had finished at the hospital, but you were instructed to just sit and do paperwork for a while.
The promotional paperwork was taking much longer than you had anticipated, so you were the only one left in your office at this point. Your supervisor was still here, but he was with the boys that were doing a vlive project, making sure they didn’t totally ruin their reputation.
Your eyes were tired from staring at the computer, so you decided to take a break. You stood up and stretched and walked around the small office a couple times, being careful not to walk so much it aggravated your ankle. Before sitting back down, you checked your phone and saw that you had missed a message from your supervisor. You immediately opened it up and read it.
‘(Y/N) I need you to watch over the boys for the rest of the night. They are in Studio B. Just drive them home when they are done. Thanks!’
You sighed, but packed up some of your things, saved the project you were working on and headed for the studio. As soon as you opened the door you realized why Jaebum hadn’t contacted you yet. Him and Jinyoung were the only two in the studio and they were the ones on vlive.
You walked in the room behind the camera, hoping they wouldn’t say anything and just continue what they were doing. It looked like some sort of talk show, but they also had snacks in front of them and a bunch more under the table.
You spotted your favorite candy on the table in front of Jaebum and your stomach growled. You stopped and the boys’ heads both turned and noticed you walking in. You motioned at them to keep going, but they both greeted you anyway.
“Manager noona!” Jinyoung announced. You rolled your eyes as he continued.
“Was that your stomach? Do you want one of these snacks? Aghase should we give our manager noona some snacks too?” he asked the camera. Jinyoung was actually trying to be normal, while Jaebum had just continued to stare at you not saying anything.
You looked him in the eye and motioned for him to say something. He took another second to look at you before deciding to grab one of the snacks in front of him and toss it in your direction. Surprised by his actions, you didn’t react in time to actually catch the candy. Instead it hit you in the face. Jinyoung had been reading the comments from the fans who apparently really wanted to see you and for the boys to give you something to eat, but as soon as Jaebum had thrown the candy, he looked at you and burst out laughing as it hit you.
Jaebum looked mortified. He started to apologize and get up, but you told him to just sit back down and concentrate on his fans.
“Jaebum, just sit. I’m fine. It was just a piece of candy. It’s not like you hit me with a baseball.”
You bent down to pick up the candy and then took a seat behind the camera. You watched as Jinyoung and Jaebum continued to fool around and interact with the fans. You loved watching them have fun. Jaebum’s smile was one of your favorite things in the world and you hated that you hadn’t been able make him smile like that around you. You wanted to be the reason he smiled, but lately he had just been angry towards you.
It was starting to get late and the boys were still broadcasting. You decided that it was probably a good time for them to start wrapping up since they both had things to do for the next album.
You motioned to Jinyoung to come over, but he didn’t see it. Or he ignored it, you weren’t sure. You changed tactics and threw the wrapper for the candy you had eaten at Jinyoung, but it changed course and landed in front of Jaebum.
He looked up at you and you motioned for him to wrap it up, but he didn’t seem to understand. He excused himself from the broadcast for a moment and walked over to you.
“What is it?” he asked.
“You guys should try and wrap up the broadcast. It’s getting late and you have to do some more work on the songs for the next album.”
“Okay,” he started, then he leaned in closer to you and whispered, “I still need to talk to you after we are done.”
They wrapped up the broadcast soon after that and you helped them clean up and put everything away. Jinyoung cornered you at one point and asked,
“What is going on between you and hyung? You guys are acting really strange. And every time I mention you hyung stops talking and changes the subject.”
“Don’t worry about me Jinyoung. Nothing is going on. We just had a little argument.” “It’s not just Jaebum, noona. Jackson is acting weird too. Ever since that day you came by and fell over in the kitchen. You three have something you aren’t telling us.”
You looked at Jinyoung surprised. He was much more perceptive than he let on.
“Jinyoung, I’m sorry that I am worrying you. I will tell you everything later, okay? Actually, it will most likely be Jaebum that talks to you. As your manager I don’t feel right bringing you into my personal business.”
Jinyoung didn’t reply and just walked away seemingly unsatisfied with your answers. You were grateful that he didn’t pry, but you almost wish he had. Jinyoung was good at keeping secrets and you wished you had someone to talk to about all of this. However, you didn’t want another member of the band to get caught up in this mess.
It was just you and Jaebum left in the recording studio now since Jinyoung decided he wanted to go home. You weren’t sure if that decision was influenced by Jaebum or not, but you didn’t really care anymore. You needed to talk to him about this morning.
You settled into a chair next to Jaebum, who had pulled up the most recent song he was composing.  You sat there and stared at him, hoping he would feel the burn from your stare, but he just kept working. Finally you spoke.
“Jaebum. Why did you ask me to come here if I was just going to sit here and watch you work?”
He paused and looked over at you. The look in his eyes was almost sad. He looked at the space between you two, reached over and pulled your chair closer to him.
“I wanted us to have some time alone.” He started. “And I wanted to say I’m sorry.” He looked up at you, almost pleading. You looked back at him; really looked. He was staring at your face with a mixture of worry and apology, which made you feel bad.
“You don’t have anything to apologize for Jaebum. I was being a little too cavalier before and I want to talk about what we are properly. I know it upset you when I was helped by that guy at the shoot, and I didn’t offer any explanation because I wasn’t really sure about where we stood.”
Jaebum listened to you speak, but his face never faltered. You were expecting some sort of response, but as always he was good at hiding if something affected him emotionally. You couldn’t take it anymore. You wanted to know how his lips felt against yours. You were alone in the studio and there were no cameras in this studio. You reached over and grabbed his hand from where it was sitting on the arm of the chair, and pulled him closer to you. You pressed your lips together.
At first Jaebum did nothing. He was understandably surprised, but after a few seconds he responded to you with fervor. He wrapped his hand around the back of your neck, pulling your faces closer together and kissing your more fiercely. His tongue grazed the edge of your lip, and you gasped a little, not expecting it. He took his chance and soon you were both desperate for air. Your hands had made their way into his soft hair. One of his hands was still on the back of your neck, but the other had found it’s way around your waist and was pulling you towards him, and off of your chair.
You broke the kiss, not only for air, but because you were about to fall out of the chair and you were pretty sure your legs would not be able to catch you. Jaebum kept you as close as possible. The hand on the back of your neck loosened but did not disappear. You looked into Jaebum’s eyes and there was a fire there. Your heart was pounding, but you didn’t want it to stop. You made your way into Jaebum’s lap. You knew you shouldn’t be doing this, but you couldn’t hold back anymore. You had held yourself back, not admitting your feelings to yourself for the past few months and you were tired of it. You wanted him, nothing else, and you wanted him to know it.
Your ankle protested at you standing up so suddenly, but you ignored it. Jaebum watched you, slowly realizing what you were doing, but once you were on his lap it was too late. He wrapped his arms around your waist and said,
“I know I’m not supposed to want this, but damn it, I don’t care anymore.”
With that he pulled you in tighter and kissed you with such ferocity it almost scared you. You began to feel warmth spreading through your whole body. Then, suddenly, you felt his hand slide up under your shirt and make it’s way to your waist. When it stopped you whined a bit, but it stayed firm. You let your hands roam Jaebum’s hair and slide down the back of his neck to his shoulders. One hand moved over his shoulder to his chest and slid down until you just barely touched the top of his pants. Your other hand slid down his arm to where his hand lay on your waist and nudged it further upwards. He obliged, admittedly distracted by your other hand that had snaked it’s way underneath his shirt.
You were so enthralled with each other, your skin burning where he touched; his skin grew hotter by the second. You pushed his shirt up further; taking the hand that was guiding him and sliding his shirt up and off, taking a brief break in kissing him. As soon as the fabric was gone from his face, Jaebum found your lips like a magnet.
With Jaebum’s shirt off you were able to explore his chest and the muscles therein. He was amazing. Looking at him in the stage clothes really did him little justice. Jaebum had slowly pushed your shirt up and both of his hands were now resting on your shoulder blades, hesitating to take your shirt all the way off. You saved him the trouble and broke the kiss to take it off your self. Once you were free from the shirt you leaned back in, but Jaebum stopped you and just sat there, looking at you.
“You are beautiful.” He said as his eyes scanned your body.
You blushed furiously and looked away saying, “I am nowhere near as beautiful as you are.”
“What are you talking about? You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen.”
Surprised, you looked back at him and he looked at you with such warmth it made your heart swell. You leaned forward and hugged him, unable to control yourself.
He hugged you back briefly, but he pushed you away just enough so he could kiss you again. This time it was more gentle and caring, like he wanted to make you believe what he had said was the truth.
As you two sat there in the room, shirts off, lips attached, someone was heading in the direction of the recording room.

Admin Eli: I am so sorry it took me forever to get this little bit out. I have been crazy busy cause apparently moving to a different country requires at least 6 months to get settled. And I’m still not really settled. >.< I am sorry it is short, and it may not be very good, but I am glad I can give you some writing again.
You headed back out the door, limping slightly. It was starting to hurt more now that you had gone up and down the stairs at the company. You were so focused on your ankle hurting that you didn’t notice someone coming towards the door as you opened it. Your ankle gave out and you tumbled into the person that was standing behind you.
“I’m so sorry!”
You had landed on top of them and were probably squishing them. As you tried to get off of them you looked to see who it was. The person that met your eyes was going to make leaving without a fuss much more difficult.
Your eyes met Jackson’s as you pushed on his chest, trying to get up, wincing as you managed to get off of him and onto the floor. You were pretty sure that fall had made your ankle worse.
“Hey Jackson. I’m sorry I fell on you. Are you alright?”
You asked watching him sit up.
“I’m fine, but what about you (Y/N)? Why did you fall over?”
he asked looking from your face down to your feet.
You were both still sitting on the ground, since you weren’t sure if your ankle would let you stand up and Jackson didn’t make a move to get up either.
“I must be tired. I didn’t sleep well last night and I had to get up early today. I’m headed home to rest for tomorrow.”
You tried to get up, but as soon as you put weight on your ankle, pain shot up your leg again, causing you to gasp slightly and fall back to the floor.
“Are you hurt?! Is that because of me? I’m taking you to the hospital.”
Jackson stated as he stood up and reached out for your arm, helping you stand up.
The company vehicle was out of the question, seeing as how you couldn’t drive with an injured foot and Jackson just couldn’t drive, so he flagged a taxi down. Inside the taxi on the way to the hospital you were trying to convince Jackson he didn’t have to go inside with you.
“You can’t even stand up on your own, noona. How am I supposed to let you go to the hospital on your own? You won’t even make it in the front door.”
Jackson countered.
He had a point, but you didn’t really want him to be spotted helping someone into a hospital. There were enough rumors going around lately that one more wasn’t necessary. Jackson fidgeted with his cap and dug around in his pockets for his facemask. Knowing his fans, it wasn’t really going to do anything, but you appreciated his effort.
After arriving at the hospital, you tried to pay for the taxi, but Jackson insisted, which annoyed you a little bit. You were pretty sure he was only doing this because he thought it was his fault you were hurt. You decided you would explain that it happened this morning after you got inside.
Once inside and checked in you told Jackson he could leave and you would get home on your own later.
“You fell down cause you ran into me, how am I supposed to just leave you at the hospital when it’s my fault.”
“Jackson,”
you started,
“It’s not your fault. I actually injured it earlier at the shooting with Jaebum, running into you just aggravated it. You don’t have to worry, just go back to the company. I’m sure they are waiting for you.”
As you finished your sentence Jackson’s phone started to light up. The company was indeed calling him. After a quick look at the caller ID Jackson stood up and said he would be right back.
As you were left alone, you wondered what Jaebum would think if he found out you went to the hospital without telling him. He knew you were hurt, but you guessed he had been a little distracted by his own thoughts about the guy that helped at the shooting site.
You took out your phone and sent Jaebum a message telling him that you had to leave the company for a while, but you wanted to speak with him after you got back. You knew he probably wouldn’t see it for a while, since he was supposed to be recording and he usually turned his phone off to concentrate.
To your surprise you got a reply right away.
“I called Jackson. I’m headed to the hospital now.”
That was the opposite of what you had wanted. Jackson probably told Jaebum that you were hurt, but since they had that stupid pact that neither one would try anything he probably felt like not telling Jaebum was against the rules or something.
You sighed looking at the message again. Sending him one that said he didn’t have to come would be fruitless since he was a pretty stubborn guy. Jackson came back to the room you were waiting in just as you heaved another heavy sigh thinking about how to explain the boys skipping out on recording for going to the hospital for you.
“Noona, what’s wrong? Does your ankle hurt?”
Jackson asked innocently.
“No, it’s okay right now. I just got a message from Jaebum. He was the one that called you?”
You looked up at Jackson, but he was avoiding eye contact.
He responded while sitting across from you.
“Yeah, he asked why I wasn’t in the studio, so I told him I had run into you and you were hurt so I took you here. I didn’t really want to tell him, but I figured he would find out anyway if I gave him any other excuse.”
Jackson had a point, so you let it be. The doctor walked up to you not long after that and told you that you needed to follow him to get x-rays and a bunch of other stuff that you didn’t really understand. You had been put into a wheelchair earlier, which made you feel weird, cause it wasn’t like you couldn’t walk, it was just painful to do so. The doctor started to push the wheelchair, which meant Jackson was staying behind. You were a little grateful for that, but also scared what him and Jaebum were going to talk about once he got there.
It felt like it took forever for you to get out of the damn hospital rooms. You were being pushed here and there by doctors and nurses and placed in weird positions and scanned. You really hated hospitals, but you knew if you were going to go to work tomorrow then you had to be here.
Finally and thankfully you were escorted into a room to wait for the result of the x-rays and whatever else it was they did to you. The doctor said he would go and tell your friend what room you were in.
A little while later the door opened and you saw Jackson’s face, but you also saw the rest of the members faces, Jaebum being the last one. Quite surprised you said,
“Why are all of you here? Aren’t you supposed to be at the company?”
Jinyoung answered,
“After Jae called Jackson he looked really worried, so when he was leaving we all just followed him.”
You looked at the faces of the seven boys, who now looked a little worried, but Youngjae, Yugyeom, and BamBam all had a smile on their face, which made you smile back.
“Thank you boys, for worrying, but I will be fine. You all might get in trouble if you stay here. What if a fan sees you in here or something?”
You appreciated the boys coming, but you worried about the rumors.  Almost immediately Jaebum replied.
“I will just tell them our manager was injured and we were worried. It shouldn’t be that big of a deal.”
You looked at Jaebum, who was looking directly at you, your eyes met and you could almost feel the worry pressing down on you. You looked away from Jaebum and stared down at your foot. You were unsure of what to say to make six boys leave the room and only one stay. You wanted to talk to Jaebum, but you didn’t want to make it obvious that you wanted to be alone with him.
“Okay, well while you are here let’s talk about your schedule for the next few weeks!”
You decided that you might as well make this into a band meeting since they were all in one place for once. Looking back at the boys, their smiles faded a little. Then you were greeted by a cacophony of complaints.
Yugyeom: “Noona! Why do you always make us work?”
Youngjae: “Why do we have to talk about that here? You are injured!”
Mark: “We came here because we were worried, not because we wanted to make you think about work.”
BamBam: “NOONA WHY?”
Jinyoung: “I already know what I have scheduled. Why can’t you just let us worry about you for once?”
Jackson: “Why are you talking about work? Think about healing, not work.”
Jaebum was the only one that stayed silent. He made his way to where you had flung your bag and picked it up. You were trying to convince the boys that even if you were hurt they still needed to focus on being prepared for work, so when your bag was set in your lap you jumped a little. Looking up at Jaebum, he just motioned to the bag and said,
“Your calendar is in there right? Let’s just have a quick meeting until the doctor gets back.”
The boys complained a little more, but Jaebum being the leader managed to convince them that you were right and they still needed to be prepared for what was coming up this week at least. He also reminded them that they now need to rearrange the schedule because they were supposed to film a dance practice today, but they had come to the hospital instead.
You watched Jaebum as he was explaining and you couldn’t help but smile a little. He was a really good leader and he was always very helpful, which is something you truly admired about him. He always made a point to help you when you were having trouble.
The rearrangement went well, with you realizing that Jaebum and Jinyoung were the most busy around Korea the next couple of weeks and the other members were just scheduled for practice and lessons at the company.
The doctor came in just as you were discussing the end of the week, and he looked surprised to see so many people in the room. He asked if a few of them could leave the room so he could talk to you about the next step in healing your ankle.
Everyone agreed to leave except Jackson and Jaebum. Jinyoung looked at Jaebum as he was leaving and you could swear there was a knowing look in his eyes. You wanted to ask Jaebum if he had said something, but with Jackson in the room it wasn’t a good idea.
The doctor explained that you hadn’t broken anything, which was a major relief. The doctor kept explaining that it wasn’t a big deal while pointing at the x-ray’s, but Jaebum’s face never changed.
Some time later the three of you left the room, you in your brace and the two boys hovering to make sure you didn’t fall over. You met the rest of the boys outside and followed them to the car they borrowed to get here. They refused to let you drive, which meant you were stuck in the back between the youngsters.
You sat quietly listening to the boys talk and their choices of music. You took every chance you could to stare at the back of Jaebum’s head, hoping that he could hear your thoughts about what you wanted to talk to him about.
Arriving at the company once again, the boys got out and you instructed them to go straight to the practice room and start rehearsing the dance they were supposed to have filmed already. They obliged with a few words of worry about you that you brushed off.
Jaebum was the last to walk off.
“Come by the recording studio later tonight.”
he said and left.
That was it. He just walked off without giving any specific details or if it was going to be just you two or if the boys were going to be here too. You hoped it was just the two of you so you could properly talk about everything that happened today.

You Never Walk Alone by BTS Album Review by Admin Eli
There is a reason that BTS wins every award they are proposed for. “You Never Walk Alone (Alone)” has been a long time in the making, but it was well worth the wait. The overriding theme of personal growth is reflected in each song. The tracklist includes songs written and composed by members individually, as well as group efforts, like their famous “Cypher” tracks.      Expanding on the concept of their mini-album “WINGS”, this album uses flying as a metaphor for achieving success together as opposed to struggling alone..  Specifically, in “Begin”, Jungkook credits the other group members with supporting him through difficult times.      BTS has mastered giving each member the proper credit. This album celebrates the talents of each member. “Alone” provided J-Hope a chance to shine, showcasing his unique rapping style in both Boy Meets Evil and MAMA, his solo song, though MAMA gives him more latitude in terms of using rap and vocals. He is also featured heavily in “Blood, Sweat, & Tears”. Other members have called that track J-Hope’s song, rather than the group’s song.      Each member of BTS has a solo song that truly reflects their talents. The members are all extremely talented singers and songwriters. Jimin, V, Jin and Suga use their songs to express their personal insecurities and how they fit into, not only Bangtan, but the world of music. Their vocal ranges are each different and they work well within the confines of the songs they have composed.      Jungkook, Rap Monster and J-Hope use their songs as an opportunity to express their feelings towards group and family members, to say how grateful they are for the support and help in shaping these young men into the people they are.      The members of BTS can be divided into two musical “lines”. The vocal line (Jin, V, Jimin and Jungkook), in the song “Lost”, tries to establish how they fit into the world of Bangtan and music. Similarly the rap line (Suga, J-Hope and Rap Monster) uses their song “Cypher Pt. 4” as a way of expressing how they view themselves. All three of these boys have had a ton of hate directed towards them, because of their choice to be a part of an idol group. Rap Monster and Suga were underground rappers for a good portion of their career and the people that see idol rappers as not ‘real’ rappers scolded them for it. This “Cypher” in particular is a play on the word itself. Cypher can be used to describe a hidden meaning and these clever boys use that to their advantage. The meaning behind this song is pointedly that they no longer care about the hate, because they have accomplished things the haters never thought they could.      The next seven tracks are sung as a group, but they show BTS’ ability to heighten certain elements of each voice and use it to their advantage. Jungkook, though the youngest, has a very well developed vocal range, which is paired with Jimin’s mid-range vocals to produce a rich even sound. Rap Monster, J-Hope, Suga and V all have slightly raspy, almost bluesy, voices, with V’s being the deepest. This creates a unique sound not found in many idol bands.      The rest of “Alone” exerts a sense of self-confidence, as if they have accepted their faults and insecurities and can move forward. The final and title song “A Supplementary Story: You Never Walk Alone”, brings everything together in one final statement. The boys are satisfied with where they are now and they want to thank their fans for helping them get here. They are saying thank you to everyone who has been a part of their growth as a band and as individuals. The group’s “wings” and the members’ “wings” are only just beginning to take them to new heights, but if the people who supported them so far stick around, they will be able to go even higher. Rap Monster, J-Hope, and Suga wrote the lyrics to this song and they did a wonderful job summing up the emotion and content of the previous songs.      Overall this album is an immense triumph for BTS. It has been internationally acclaimed and is providing BTS with opportunities to collaborate with other artists, the most recent being a potential collaboration between Rap Monster and rapper Wale.         The boys of BTS are so talented and, after four years of hard work, they are flying straight into their dreams.
