hi guys!! welcome back!!! 🫶 i don’t have much to say since i think the first post established how this’ll go, so letsgetit!!

ok to start, this intro is EVERYTHING. like i had already heard this song a bit but i forgot how much this slaps. i love the little empty feeling after the first verse starts and then how they build it up! this is the perfect summer song (even though its winter…. rip)

these lyrics are so sad though! like txt do you need help :( moas are here to save u!!!

the drums go so hard in this song, especially during the chorus. i also have to say that the growl that guy (taehyun?????) adds to “i know it’s real i can feel it” just makes it so good.

txt does a really good job with emotions in this song. i know they’re getting really popular, so i’ll definitely try and listen to their comebacks more often!!

my only drawback is seori (the collab artist) had like 2 lines 😭 i know they have to be able to perform it without her, but it kind of gives halsey in boy with luv LOL but this song is so hard to find a flaw with!!

hi everyone!!! this is my first real post! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ tysm to @strawberrystarcake for the ask!

onto the rating!

fun fact: ditto is the first newjeans song that i listened to! it is so fun and rewired my brain. it is tentatively 6th on my newjeans song ranking (which, if enough people asked, i would do maybe as a special wink wonk) and one of the few kpop music vids i actually watched!!!

my favorite part of this song is the beat. despite it being a faster-paced drum pattern, the song itself doesn’t feel super urgent, and that’s mostly because of the other instrumentals like the chords (imo) and the styling newjeans adds when they sing. it’s awesome!

my favorite line is “i got no time to lose” for sure.

i also wanted to acknowledge the choreography, because i know that for some people, the dancing/performance stages enhance the song. i am not a dancer and only a singer! but i love this choreo with all my heart. it is so flowy and matches the song.

my only drawback is that its really repetitive, but newjeans is kind of known for that. it kind of leaves me wanting…. more????

overall, definitely a song in my playlist and one that is easy to get stuck in your head. the final rating is 7/10! see you guys in the next one!
