Robin (Honkai Star Rail)
I’ve been lucky to work on a few Honkai pieces, and this was particularly exciting. Robin’s dress was so pretty I wanted to do it justice. The bodice portion has structure to it, so it could stay up properly, while the skirt portion was done as a separate piece, so they could wear it easily. The purple fabric has a slight color shift to it, so it can catch the light and create depth. I think my favorite detail is the little sleeve puffs I made, they had elastic in them so they stayed up. All of the accessories were provided by the client!

Chidori (Persona 3)
I had made a version of this dress before, so it was fun to work on this again! The silver details were all hand sewn on, so it would sit properly, and I went with a velvet trim for the black details. This was probably the most amount of ruffles that I had made for a costume in a long while. Thankfully I have a ruffle foot to make it easier!

Super excited to share some photos of my Nero cosplay! I completely remake this costume from when I first made it in 2018, and decided to do her 3rd ascention. I can't wait to share more photos!

Falin Touden (Dungeon Meshi)
I made a Falin cosplay for myself recently! I love her design, her outfit was so warm and cozy, it's probably the most comfortable costume I've ever made for myself. I did some basic cottons for the tunic, while the coat is a brushed poly wool. I did some fur trim as well, just as a contrasting detail.

Andrea (Star Trek)
This was my first time doing anything from Star Trek, and I love that I got to work on a really interesting bodysuit. I chose a scuba knit for it, that way it could be fitted, but the customer could be comfortable. The customer requested nude paneling to offer a little bit more modesty than just having it open like it was originally. The final result was really slick, I love getting fun construction challenges like this.

Senshi (Dungeon Meshi)
This is probably one of my favorite series right now, I hope to make a Falin costume for myself soon. When I got this project, I was really excited to work on it. The skirt portion was suede, while the shirt was a basic cotton material, something that felt like it fit within the series.
The helmet was 3D printed (the model was bought from here). It was printed and painted by myself. I really was happy with how the painting and the weathering details came out.

Chopper (One Piece)
I was really excited to work on this, I love working on hat projects. The base was done in eva foam, and then covered with fleece as the main fabric. I added some stuffing underneith to give it a softer look.
Horns and ears were 3D printed and painted, they attach to the main hat and are supported by that!

Lucca (Chrono Trigger)
Another hat! This time from everyone’s favorite scientist, Lucca. This was such a fun project to work on, I really wanted to give the client a mix of something that was fabric and “metal”. The base helmet was created with foam, and then covered with fabric. The inside lining is felt (for comfort and to hide any foam details).
The gold part is done from foam that’s been primed and painted to look like metal. One fun little detail I added was all the studs were made from googly eyes!

Gladiia (Arknight)
She had a really interesting design, and one that I had to do some interpretation for, based on how the art was done. I had a lot of fun with it, I got to sketch out the basic shapes I wanted to make, so I had something solid to work off of. The main jacket fabric was done in a twill, while the shirt had a combination of pleather and chiffon to give it a textural difference. The main jacket itself doesn’t have sleeves, just openings so the client could fit their arms through.
My favorite detail was the hat, I added a bit of wire in the brim so the back parts of it could be posed.

Reimu (Touhou)
This is only the 2nd Touhou costume I’ve ever made, and I really love Reimu’s design. The sailor-like collar detail is so cute. I went with a basic cotton twill for the main part of the outfit, the client requested a skirt and a separate top to wear, both have a basic zipper to get in and out of easily. This costume had a ton of ruffles that I needed to make for it (you always need to make more than you think you will), but the ruffle foot made quick work of that. The sleeves are separate from the outfit, and have an elastic detail, as well as the ribbons, to help them stay on the arm.

Nanami (Suikoden 2)
This was a pretty simple project, I only had to make the top for her. I decided on doing a pink linen matched with a poly twill for the sleeves. I wanted something woven and looked fairly natural looking that would fit into the setting. The back has a simple zipper so the customer can get in and out of it easily!

It's been a while, but lets share some old con photos again! This time from Otakon 2010 (which was 14 years ago!!). Everything here was taken on my very old digital camera at the time (some of them might be a little blury because of that). Full gallery is here if you wanna see more! I'll share some of the highlights

Storm (Xmen)
I loved the X-Men cartoon series when I was young, so getting the chance to work on this was a dream.
The main bodysuit was done in a faux stretch leather, I wanted something that was thick so it wouldn't be see through, but also had a bit of texture as well. The cape fabric was done in a stain. The shoulderpads have snaps on them, so the customer could easily take the cape one and off.
The X buckle files are from The Dangerous Ladies

Forrest (Fire Emblem Fates)
Forrest’s design was pretty unique, I got to play with a lot of different shapes and designs for this. The waist piece has light boning in it, and laces up in the back for an adjustable fit. The hip shield parts are a foam base, with a layer of worbla overtop it. The shields are attached to the belt piece, so the customer can easily take them on and off.
