Urban Life by Keith Reilly

The city in the evening bursts a rich array of evening lights. Curtains are pulled, some slightly open. Evening lamps reflect warm colors. People are kissing glasses of fruity red wine. Others making passionate love in darkness. Each living in private quarters, alone, yet among community. There's a sense of wonder, of pleasure and of mystery. Bistros and bars are open for business. Stools and booths waiting to be filled. Hot food is waiting to be ran from busy kitchens. There's a smokey flavor of grilled food on the sidewalks. Until the sun rises, the amber lights will glow.
