Here be Angelo and Valak back in the day when they were regular ol’ humans. Back in the 11th century or some shit. They had different names back then too~ Evangelos and Vadik They’re too precious and I wanna die. Valak belongs to @machonachos

Un OC de mi propiedad con historia triste, de una vida miserable y basura, es de nacionalidad Alemana y Estado unidense, de nombre Ethan Gräuel Lümmel Erbherr (desconozco si tienen la necesidad de poseer dos nombres o dos apellidos, pero así fue como lo hice.), con un problema anatomico, que su craneo y en si rostro, carece de ojos, es ciego de nacimiento.

Es primera vez que hago algo así, un dibujo de un humano, siempre eh dibujado animales. An OC of my property with a sad history, of a miserable and garbage life, is of German and American nationality, named Ethan Gräuel Lümmel Erbherr (I do not know if they have the need to have two names or two surnames, but that is how I did it .), with an anatomical problem, that his skull and his face, lacks eyes, he is blind from birth. It is the first time that I do something like this, a drawing of a human, I have always drawn animals.

Would valak protect angelo?

He would and he does!

Though Angelo is pretty much the only real angel on earth, Valak is far from the only demon trolling around on earth. There’s one occasion where another demon notices Angelo’s weak aura and starts to pick a fight with him because um hello that looks like an easy win right there against a heavenly being no less but Valak cuts in before they actually throw down.

Not that Angelo is defenseless or anything, it’s just that demons are super territorial. Typically if they have a human they particularly favor, they’ll mark the human so other demons know to back off. Even though Angelo hasn’t really given him a chance to mark him up, Valak is still gonna defend his turf.

He ends up going into feral mode and fights off the other demon while Angelo watches and rolls his eyes.

Is Valak the type to get jealous?

Jealous isn’t exactly the right word, but he is definitely territorial.

As mentioned here,  Valak’s overly affectionate nature serves a purpose. Demons prowl the earth like it’s nobody’s business and occasionally they’ll take a liking to particular humans. So how do they keep other demons from moving in on their turf? By scenting them of course! Demons can easily pick up on each other’s scents, often aware of other demons in the area from miles away.

When they pick up another demon’s scent on a human, they know that said human is claimed and messing with them will lead to conflict. Most respect the unspoken dibs system they got going on unless they’re looking to instigate a fight, either because they’re not looking for trouble or because they don’t want another demon’s sloppy seconds. After that one incident where an uppity fledgling started harassing Angelo and Valak jumped to his defense, he started caring a lot less about invading Angelo’s personal space bubble and began getting his scent all up on Angelo so that other demons would catch a whiff and steer clear.

When it comes to humans, Valak doesn’t have much to worry about. Angelo’s pretty dismissive to most everyone he talks to so him getting picked up by someone else is not a huge concern to Valak. He does know that Angelo is a sucker for flattery though so if he notices that a human is successfully chatting him up, Valak will subtly intervene by draping an arm around Angelo’s shoulders and jokingly inserting something off-putting about him like, “Aw that’s sweet, we should tell your horse. Did you know his only friend is a horse?” or “Remember that one time when you ate my soap, Angelo?”
