Delirium by Lauren Oliver ( Part 1)
Entry date : April 30,2017 We have free will-hence we are blessed to have the liberty to choose whatever we think is best for us. In Lena and Alex's case they were deprived with freedom to choose. Their government forbid them to love and sanction anyone who disobeys the law. Their society viewed love as a lethal, horrendous disease and does everything in their power to stop citizens from being infected. Yet love is a many splendored thing. It knows no bounds it will do everything in its power to get what it wants. Alex and Lena defied the laws and loved to their hearts content. They went out of their shells and widen their horizons. Lena changed because of love. From an introvert, fearful young lad she became audacious and tough. Sticks and stones were thrown at them but they manage to handle it all. In the name of love- one is willing to give even his own life. When I was in highschool most of the time I am restrained by fear. I am afraid to take risk because I can't bear the idea of failing and getting hurt. I sulk in my comfort zone like a complete coward. I refused to join my fellow students into having fun because I am preoccupied with the things that might happen. Late in the dawn of my final year in highschool, I realized that I was wrong all along. I was like Lena, at the first few chapters of the novel. I can really see myself in her. I too, have fears, loads of them actually. Like her, I went out of my comfort zone and faced what I must face. They may built walls and hamper my progress, they may try to pin me down but I will take down the walls and fly. Nothing's stopping me from loving, from being happy. Our goal after all, in life, is to be HAPPY. I cannot achieve this if something or someone is dragging me down. No matter how tall or hard the walls I will take it down because I am tougher. Yes, I am. I wonder what will happen to Lena in the Wilds after crossing the border. I am worried about Alex's. What will happen to him? The family that Lena left behind, are they going to be persecuted for Lena's actions? What will become of Hana and Grace? Will Lena and Alex be united again? What will be the immediate action of the government after discovering that the Invalids are living among them? Lena's a tough girl. I know in my heart that she will survive given the circumstances that Alex wasn't able to cross the border with her. I think Alex will live and he will be united with the love of his life in the end. I think Lena will find her mother after long years of believing she was dead. I think the Resisters and the Invalids will throw war against the government.

Delirium by Lauren Oliver (Part 2)
Entry date : April 22,2017 ( Description of the favorite part inthe novel and making of predictions) (1/2)
My favorite part in the novel was when Lena thought Alex left her. Lena went to the house at 37 Brooks, their hideout,to explain everything to Alex. She knew it was not the evaluator who saw Brian and her shaking hands. It was Alex. Lena then went to 37 Brooks. She stopped short in the living room. All their things-blankets, the games, the books are gone. The warped wooden floor lies bare and exposed under the beam of Lena’s flashlight. A deep chill ran through her. She reckoned Alex must have been there after all, to clean up their stuff. The message was as clear to her as any note. He’s done with her. Lena collapsed against the floor and shivered uncontrollably. The thought of Alex deserting her was as cold as ice. The surge of it so strong it hits her in the chest like a physical force ,like walking straight into the breakers at the beach. Lena sobbed loudly into the dark. She was almost howling like a wolf when she felt a warm hand on the back of her neck. It was Alex. All her worries, miseries faded all out once. She explained everything to Alex and he was just standing there, eyes not blinking just listening to Lena. Lena was wrong all along. She concluded that Alex was done with her. Only to realize that the reason why their things wasn’t where it was suppose to be because Alex fixed them upstairs. Alex brought her to the Wilds one time and it was magical. “ It’s too dangerous to go back to the Wilds so I brought the Wilds here. I thought you would like it. ” Alex has shoved the old bed out of the way, into one of the corners and swept the floor perfectly clean. The windows - or what windows remain, are flung open, so the air smelled like gardenias and night-blooming Jasmine, their scents drifting in on the wind from outside. He has arranged their blankets and books in the center of the room and unraveled a sleeping bag there too. Surrounding the whole area with dozens and dozens of candles stuck in funny makeshift canisters, like old cups and mugs or discarded Coca Cola cans, just like they were at the house in the Wilds. But the best part was the ceiling: or rather the lack of ceiling. It hits her that even after what happened that day, he came and did those for Lena. Lena was overwhelmed and felt a twinge of pain at the same time. She knew she does not deserve it. She doesn’t deserve him. Alex was everything perfect and she was everyting opposite. Yet Alex loved her with all his heart and soul. He loved her freely. This was my favorite part in the novel because this scene bored into my core. I wept hard in this scene. Like Lena, I thought Alex left her. I couldn’t bear it, losing someone who means a world to you. I think Alex and Lena will go through loads of challenges after this very scenario. I think their forbidden love is nearing its end. A secret can’t be kept forever. I think Lena and Alex will be caught in the latter part of the novel.

Will Grayson, will grayson by David Levithan and John Green
Entry date: March 20,2016 Part 1 I must say I was flabbergasted with the storyline of this novel. Will Grayson met another will grayson who was a gay. will grayson fell in love with Will Grayson's best friend, Tiny Cooper. This novel was about friendship, coming of the age,art and culture, sexuality, isolation, truth and love. I learned that there are many different types of love that can be stronger than the others. will grayson loves Tiny Cooper in a romantic way while Will Grayson loves Tiny extremely strong as his best friend. Both of them love Tiny Copper strongly all the same. The novel is filled with arts. From books to bands all the way up to the musicals. The piece that were highlighted adds another layer of fun in the novel. Pop culture can be educational. will grayson find it difficult to admit his sexuality. He hid his true gender to his best friend Maura ,who later found out that he was a gay by disguising as Isaac, and his own mother. But when he met Will Grayson who introduced him to his best friend Tiny Cooper he finally came out of his shell. Both Will graysons has difficulty in admitting the truth. They would rather lie than expose their truest identity. Yet circumstances changed them and they realise the importance of truth. Both of them figure out just how important it is to be honest with the persons they love. I learned that no matter what the cost, we must choose to tell the truth. We must know how to return the love, care and favor that are given to us. We must bear in mind that there is hope and we can overcome all the negativity and find the road to a happy and healthy life. This novel taught me how important love is no matter what type it is. We must do anything with love. Choose love. Like Will Grayson, I struggled to tell the truth sometimes. Some truths are just too hard to swallow. There are times when I chose to hide the truth to protect the persons I love. My mom for instance. I kept something from her for I knew that the truth will shatter her into pieces. It took months till I gathered strength and finally decided to divulge the truth. She wailed and cried but at least she was free from lies and deception. I knew that it was the right thing to do. I wonder how both Will Graysons take their meeting? It must be mind blowing meeting someone with the exact same name as you. I was also wondering why will grayson broke up with Tiny Cooper? Also I am troubled with what Tiny Cooper must have felt during the musical? Will both Will Graysons be having a happy after the musical was stage? Or their life would be the same as before? I think Will Grayson and will grayson did the most epic yet heart warming surprise at the day of the musical. I reckon Tiny Cooper and will grayson will be back together after the musical. I think both Will grayson will live life with no more lies and pretention.

TFIOS part 2 ( FAVORITE PART)
This is my favorite part in the novel, “The fault in our stars”. The illustration shows a kissing couple.Hazel and Augustus kissed in the attic of The Anne Frank House. It is the very first time their lips find each other. In a foreign country, the two audaciously kissed each other paying no regards to their fellow tourists.
It is my favorite part not mainly because kissing is a splendid thing that could ever happen to a couple, ( it is even cliche) but rather because it is a sign of Hazel’s acceptance of the love that Gus solemnly offers. In this part,Hazel kissed Gus after realizing how short the time she only got to live and how much Gus mean to her.It was a pure manifestation of love and acceptance.

EVERYDAY part 2 ( FAVORITE CHARACTER)
Entry date: February 22,2017
This is Rhiannon.Rhiannon is a sixteen year old girl who cares a lot about his boyfriend,Justin amidst the fact that he cares little for her.She does whatever she can to help him and she keeps what they have intact. Yet things changed when she met A. A is present in Justin’s body when she first met him however she is unaware of it. She is the first and only woman A ever loved. She is also the first person to ever meet A and knows who he really is. She discovers A’s secret but keep it to herself. She becomes quite attached to A and wants love to conquer and defy the problems that kept A and her apart. She wanted to with A and not the body A takes over.
Her fatal flaw is that she loves too much and leave nothing for herself. No wonder why Justin took her for granted but in the end she realizes and let go of Justin. When A decided to leave to fix himself she was devastated.
I like Rhiannon because she has a pure heart. She is a person capable of neglecting her own needs just to attend to other people’s needs.

Star- crossed love story
Part 2 of TFIOS Entry date: February 18,2017
Pageboy haircut, blonde hair, Tantalizing eyes can’t help but stare. At the fourth stage of cancer she remained tough, And managed to do errands and stuffs. Eight prescription of drugs thrice a day, A television series she watched without any delay.
In that Support group he met Gus, Things changed since then. Dolsdrum life of hers hasn't’been the same, In his promises she veritably cleave, She found another reason to live.
Hazel's story was about to be rewritten, Gus was the sole reason I am certain. What they had was an epic love story, Young, ephemeral yet fiery.

Part 2 of Everyday #23
Entry date : February 18,2017
What I wanted most to happen was for A and Rhiannon to have a normal relationship like what normal couples share. What I really liked was the peculiar yet magnificent story line of the novel , Everyday. What admired me was Rhiannon's attitude towards A. What I most admired about the main character was his incredible love for Rhiannon. What I love about the author was the style he used in writing this novel. I must say it’s not the usual story you get to encounter everyday. It deviated from the normal scheme of a story line. What I wanted to be the ending of the novel was for A to find the answers he was long searching. What I despised about the story was the struggles A undergone specifically his being a drifter. What I despised about the novel is its doleful and heart breaking ending. It shattered me into pieces. What surprised me was the path A decided to take in the last part of the novel. What I needed was the complete of explanation of A's case. What I am looking forward to is the sequel of the novel.

The fault in our stars by John Green
Entry date : February 17,2017
To love is nothing. To be loved is something. But to love and to be loved by the person you love that’s everything! Hazel Grace Lancaster was nothing but a cancer patient who was at her terminal, final chapter of life inscribed upon diagnosis. She was at the stagnant point of her life. She does things just to remain alive and make her parents happy. She was literally bored with the mundane stuffs she does. Things would have remain the same if it weren’t for Augustus Waters. A lovely fellow who appeared at the Cancer Kid Support Group and changed Hazel’s life forever. Their love story was epic. The book, An Imperial Affliction brought the two of them together. It was the same reason why Hazel fell in love with Gus. Hazel’s strong wish to correspond with the author of the novel led Augustus into finding the author and finally corresponded with him. Hazel had no idea about Gus’ disease because he said he was NEC ( No evidence of Cancer) for thirteen months. He made Hazel into believing that he was healthy. Fights were won , questions were asked and at the same time Hazel and Gus fell in love with each other. Only to find out that Gus was inflicted badly by cancer. Their love was on its peak when Gus told Hazel about his real health condition. It was hard for Hazel. It was too much to bear but she handled it for Gus’ sake. They remained intact and in unsusceptible despite of the storms that tried to crush their relationship. Gus had some kind of obsession with oblivion. He wanted to be remembered. He wanted to be someone who has an epic story to tell but the cancer disabled him from being so. While Hazel wanted to be loved deeply not widely. She didn’t want a million of admirer she just wanted one. That’s what Gus loved about her. She was busy being herself she had no idea what someone thought of her. When Gus passed away it was almost unbearable for Hazel. He was the star- crossed love of her life. Hazel was still thankful for the little infinity they had shared. What I got from the movie were these: don’t regret the choices you have made. Do not mind what others think of you because you have no obligation to please them. Don’t wish for everyone to remember or admire you. Just be happy and contented of what you possess. Love your family deeply and cherish the memories you have forever. Also, friendship is vital in one’s life. Defend and love your friends unconditionally. Never expect for an exchange. Give your all and regret nothing. After all we only have one life to live so we better make the best of it.
When my mother and father undergone a serious fight that almost tore their marriage apart, I thought it was the end of our happy family. I was devastated and lacked enthusiasm to continue. Luckily the dilemma was resolved and everything went back to its usual state. We were a merry family once again. The novel also spoke about friendship. It was between Hazel, Gus and Isaac. The three supported each other on the darkest and lightest point of their life. It reminded me of my friendship between Jessa Mae and Sherly. We were there to support each other. When Sherly’s house was burned we comforted her as she was sobbing helplessly. We also helped financially and never leaved her alone. When Jessa Mae had a hard time with her parents, Sherly and I was there to strengthen and enlighten her. We cheered her up. Friends do things for their friends after all, that’s what friends are for. Love comes in many ways, in one form or another. I felt another type of love when my grandfather died. My grandmother had a hard time accepting it. All her life she and my grandfather never left each other’s side. They were always together in spite of the poverty they faced back then. My grandmother had a hard time recuperating after my grandfather’s death. Like Hazel and Gus,my grandparents shared a love that was irrevocable and unconditional.
I wonder what will Hazel do after Gus’ burial? I am curious of what will be her actions considering that the star - crossed love of her life is now dead. I’m also wondering what will happen to Isaac, their friend after losing his eyesight.
I think Hazel will still go to the Cancer Support Group arm in arm with Isaac. I think they will remain friends even when Gus passed away.

Everyday by: David Levithan
Entry date : February 17, 2017
All my life I thought everyone get to experience the same manner of living. Never had I encounter a story as peculiar as that of the novel. Reading Everyday shocked me. The author, David Levithan created a story line which was bizarre and peculiar. I got innumerable points from the novel and I don’t know how to mention all of those. The main character, A is a drifter. He doesn't have a chance to stay in one body. Day by day he drifts from one body to another. He has no family of his own - no life of his own. As much as possible he wanted to stay in a single body - to have a normal life like what everybody else has.A was accustomed to this not until he fell in love with Rhiannon. It taught me to value whatever I have.It made me realize how lucky I am to have a normal life unlike A.It taught me to see the best in people. To appreciate even the tiniest thing I own.It taught me to love in the most unfathomable way.Not to stop finding solutions in every problem and most of all it taught me that love requires sacrifice.
When in lone, I can’t help but ask myself if someone I love is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for me. A, sacrificed his love for Rhiannon because he knew there are things to be adhered to. In the depth of his heart and in the back of his mind he knew he must let Rhiannon go no matter how painful it is. He chose Alexander to take his place on Rhiannon’s heart. He decided to cut his connection with the girl he loves. The sacrifice he made was somehow the same to the sacrifice God made towards us. When he offered His son just to save us from our trespasses. That kind of love is unending - beyond compare. I am also reminded of the sacrifices my parents have undergone. My mother and father have a hard time raising my 4 siblings and I. They have been through a lot they sacrifice endless hours just to support and keep us in shape. Every day I thanked my parents for all they have done for me and my siblings. I have understood that Love is indeed a sacrifice. Only by sacrifice one can fully exercise the art of loving. In loving, one must be chivalrous and apt to sacrifice for the person he loves. We mustn't think for ourselves alone rather consider another person’s happiness.
I was wondering if A would come back for Rhiannon after his search of his real identity. Will he take back Rhiannon from Alexander? I was also baffled with what Rev. —said; if A wasn't really alone and were others like him?But unlike A, they managed to decipher on how to stay longer in one body. I was also wondering if Rhiannon would love Alexander the same way she loved A? Will she remain at Alexander’s side or will she try to reach A. My biggest question is that what is the real score of A’s being.
Given the foreshadowing devices found in the story, I think Rhiannon will try to reach A despite the fact that A told him not to. I think she will like Alexander but she will never feel the same way she had for A. Her heart wouldn't beat the same way it beated for A. She wouldn't feel the chills on her spine unlike she felt with A. I think A will find out the real score of his self and he will discover how to stay longer in a body than a single day.

Versace on the floor
After one exhausting day, it is good to reward one’s self. I saw enumerable posts on social media about this song by Bruno Mars.Just by reading its title I thought it was some kind of rock or pop song like the usual genre of Bruno Mars. I was dumbfounded after hearing the actual track. It was a song! Horayyy Bruno Mars.It is a song worth listening to.
