Not applying because 1, I'm over 20 years old so I can't apply and 2....despite loving to brainstorm stuff and love coming up with ideas, I'm not the best at writing....but I wanted to respond to this.

I wanted to say....this au, just from the name alone, sounds AMAZING and wanted to verbalize my support! Can't...contribute to it but once you make your au....I'd be following that so fast because melted insanity? That sounds like such an awesome name and it's already making me curious what the infection is gonna be! I love infection aus for their amazing story writing and awesome art and much more!

I'm already dying with curiosity! I already got a bunch of questions but I'll limit myself to four just to show you how excited I am for this!

1. What are the stages of infection?

2. How did the infection start?

3. Who was patient zero?

4. How did the infection get its name? (Cheating a little with a little bonus question since I can't contain it! Is it called melting insanity because the infection causes melting and the more they melt, the more insane they get?)

5. What is the origin of the infection? (Sorry if this is similar to the second one!)

Still now I'm hyped!!!

Well for how the infection started it was from a parasite called Korvath basically how the parasite works is that it gets in through infected food and open uncared for wounds and starts eating at the victim slowly as it's saliva melts the victim. For the stages of the infection 1st stage: Tiredness and slight melting of where it was infected 2nd stage: Losing a bit of insanity, Cannibalism, slight untamed hunger and thirst for blood 3rd stage: Limbs melting off, ripped mane, showing bones, cannibalism, intense hunger and thirst for blood, unrecognizable and far too hostile final stage: Fully melted, rotting and loss of skin and mane/tail, 2 weeks before death, there's no hope to save the infected ----------------- Patient zero was Derpy Hooves, as for how she got it she ate something infected with the parasite As for how the Infection got it's name It's from how it melts the victim and makes them go insane until they die The origin is that the same as how it started by the parasite being in the ground and it can jump into open wounds, or bury itself in food without being noticed.
