you know what I went off about the teaser back then and I do have thoughts about this one too so lets fucking go

disclaimer I'm doing this for shits and giggles and don't actually believe my own theory at all BUT

starting off with the funny coincidonk which is that we just discussed the other day about Joonas and Olli both having the All-Seeing Eye Of God tattooed on them, how it symbolizes God watching over humanity. well they are very much being watched. you see where this is going?

INCH RESTING. I mean I did literally call Niko reborn Jesus with No Saints so might as well make Joel a God this time around.

the thing that catches my attention next is the color scheme which do be kind of supporting ^ the above theory. the screen Joel is watching is always blue and light hues, something one could easily connect with Heaven. meanwhile the elevator that Tommi, Joonas and Olli get trapped in is overwhelmingly red. the connection is obvious but you also don't even need to make it yourself because the button Joonas presses (or u know he mashes literally all of them but I assume there's that one that matters) is literally labelled.

to take this heaven/hell theory even further, there's this green tinted scene of Niko apparently looking into the mirror, which makes me think this is a moment of judgement. he's at the crossroads, his fate is still undecided. maybe this is his moment to face his own demons and consequences of his life.

what I'm still curious about (apart from Allu's role in the whole thing) is the elevator trio and who knew what? because Olli starts of with this kind of knowing look on his face, and when we see him later, he's calm. like this is something he expected and knew was going to happen.

meanwhile Porko is shown in multiple shots visibly panicked, and his face before stopping the elevator looks kind of anxious/caught off guard.

and ofc then there's Tommi - first wearing a bandana around his face, and then screaming right into Porko's face. so I'm still trying to decide between two options here - 1. the shot below is mutual panic which holding onto each others shoulders could imply, but Tommi's face on the other hand is more like,, he's gonna be the one to bite Porko's head off. so option 2. is Tommi being a type of guard to bring people to the gates of Hell - a modern day boatsman of the dead, if you will. maybe Porko stopping the lift was some kind of attempt to escape, which springs Tommi to action, as it's his duty to make sure that the dead end up wherever the judgement sends them, heaven or hell.

Aleksi just watched videos until 4am 😂 In an old interview(edm days old) he did say he didn't like partying much, I guess he still doesn't it seems like. I guess he must be pretty patient with the others partying 🤔

Why would it concern him that they're partying, if they clearly don't bother him if he wants to leave? That's the best you can do for an overwhelmed introvert, just let them go and don't bug them ❤️
