Today, a breath of fresh, calm air that is Stoney White. I learned that a very thin layer of SW glaze creates a ‘toasted marshmallow’ look to the tile, which I love! This year has been filled with collaborations with amazingly gifted women. One such project was the interior of a new brewery in Butchertown (Louisville) with Jaclyn Journey and Amanda Jacobs of @journeyandjacobs . After the design brief was given to me, and we’d collaborated on glazes, they gave me free reign on the design and shapes. I can’t articulate how wonderful it is for an artist to be told- go do what you do best. After the tile was fired and glazed I spent an amazing few weeks installing this gorgeousness. It was utterly magical to see it come to life and I felt so lucky to be a part of this stunning space. I even added some hand painted bits and a custom block print! Thank you, Amanda and Jaclyn, for allowing me to add my art to the @ten20beer brewery!
