Playtex Sport Tampons

I received my Playtex Sport Tampons courtesy of Influenster to test them out and I really enjoyed using them.  I am a person who is on the go and loves to visit theme parks (mainly Disney World).  I am usually worried about leaking but these put my mind at ease.  I was impressed with how well they absorbed.  I definitely recommend them!

My Influenster UniVox Box

I recently received the UniVox Box from Influenster and I was in love with all the products I received.  I fell most in love with my Rimmel foundation and NYC Experlast Lip Color.  I was shocked with how well the foundation matched my tone and how light it was.  The NYC Experlast Lip Color... well I love bright colors and this definitely worked well with my complexion.

I will certainly continue to use the NYC Experlast Lip Color and the RImmel Foundation.

My Broadway Nail Manicure

I have used these a few times now and I love how easy they are to use.  I love having my nails done and/or doing them myself, but that can be a bit time consuming and expensive.  These are so easy to use!  All you have to do is prep your nail, pop the nails on and out the door you go.  No drying time!!! I've already recommended these to my friends!

My Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

I love my Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation.  I was previously using Covergirl but decided to give this a try.  I was a little hesitant because I wasn't sure if it would match my skin tone, but boy was I shocked!  It matched my tone perfectly and was really light so my face could breathe.  I really enjoy using this foundation and look forward to getting more!

Colgate Optic White

I got the chance to try Colgate's new Optic White Toothbrush that has the whitening pen attached to the toothbrush. Let me tell you how easy it has been to whiten.  You just take the whitening pen out of the bottom of the toothbrush, a couple of clicks, swipe and you're done!  No waiting 30 minutes for whitening strips and no extra gunk from them either.  However, before putting the whitening pen back, you have to make sure you remove the excess product off to prevent any future problems. Thanks Influenster for the opportunity to try it & I certainly recommend it to anyone interested!‪

Family History

So I've been prompted to continue my Family History search and I am glad that I did.  I did more searching and persistence pays off.  I was able to locate the paternal side of my great great grandmother's family.  I'm learning a lot about my ancestors and my family as a whole.  It feels great to know where my family has been and what they did through their life.

President Boyd K. Packer, said: “When we research our own lines we become interested in more than just names. … Our interest turns our hearts to our fathers—we seek to find them and to know them and to serve them. (Ensign, June 2013) 

I am grateful for the Church and the gospel.  It has blessed me with the love I feel from everyone I come in contact with.  I am grateful to know that I have a wonderful family not only in my immediate family, but my Ward family as well,

What have I learned?

I normally don't post to my Tumblr, but since I have a lot to write about, I will start since it's much easier to type out my thoughts than write it out.

So at this late hour, I know I should be sleeping.  However, I decided to take this time to study my scriptures and go back to the past CES Devotionals because I felt them calling to me.

One of the CES Devotionals that caught my attention was a talk by Sister Bednar, "Have I Seen the Hand of God in My Life?"

As I read the talk, I thought about the 4 things that we should have in order to feel the Spirit at all times. 

1) Ears to Hear the Word of the Lord 

When we study our scriptures, we can hear the voice of the Lord.  

I can testify that this is true.  I feel my spirit growing and the love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ as I read and ponder the scriptures. The scriptures are a way for our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to provide us with answers to our prayers.  If we ever need an answer, we can just look to the gospel.

2) Eyes to See His Plan 

We must have eyes to see his plan.

Elder Henry B Eyring said: "I bless you that every day, if you will ask in prayer to be shown where the hand of God intervened in your life that day, I bless you that you will see that.  It will be made manifest to you.  That you will see that He is leading and guiding and lifting you, and that He knows you."

I can testify that that the power of prayer is strong and if you pray to seek this, Heavenly Father will show and guide you.

3) Feet to Follow in His Path 

We must have feet to follow His path.

If we follow His teachings and those of our prophets, seers, and revelators we will never be alone.

Even though things that we thought should have happened during a specific time in our lives haven't happened, have faith in Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.  Heavenly Father will never give you anything that you can not handle.

4) Hearts to Understand 

We needs hearts to understand the gift of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ bore all our burdens and died for us so that we may live.  Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ knows us and loves us each and all the same.  Once we understand the true meaning of the Atonement and what it means to each of us, understand the blessings that the Atonement brings into our lives.

I can testify that the Atonement is true and that Jesus Christ died for us so that we may live and feel the love of our Heavenly Father.  He knows us each individually and when we live by His commandments, our lives will truly be blessed.  I can testify that the Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Holy Bible and that it brings blessings to those who read it.

I leave this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Palmolive Soft Touch

A couple weeks ago I received a box from Influenster.com.  I was really excited to try out the new Palmolive Soft Touch because I've read so many reviews on it. Usually after washing dishes, my hands start to get dry and my manicure starts to come off.  Well I can certainly say after using Palmolive Soft Touch, my hands did not dry out and my nails are looking fabulous!  I would most certainly recommend it and will not be straying from this brand at all.  I shared my Vitamin E with my boyfriend since he's always doing the dishes.  I also gave my Coconut Butter to my mother to use.  You can find soft touch at any local Walmart!

Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips

On Monday I come home from work to see a white box on my table.  I was so excited to see what it was since I saw that it came from Influenster.  It was a box of Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips**.  I was so excited I couldn't wait to try it out so since Monday night, it's been a part of my nightly routine.  I'm excited to see how well they work.  So far so good, so stay tuned I'll do my very best to keep you updated as to how they are working out for me... 18 more days to go!  "If you're not Whitening, You're yellowing!"

As someone who's not really good at drawing, this was my first real attempt at it.  I'm taking an Drawing Class this semester to complete my AS in Digital Arts with a Video Game Foundation subplan.  I think I did fairly well considering I have no skills whatsoever.

MW3 CONTENT COLLECTION COMING TO XBOX LIVE

For those of us who skipped out on the Elite membership we finally get our chance to purchase the maps already available to Elite members. Content Collection #1 drops March 20th on Xbox live and will feature Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box multiplayer maps. Also include are two Special Ops missions, Black Ice and Negotiator.

Black Ice, Black Box and Negotiator will be available to Elite member one week prior.

No price tag has been confirmed for the general public download but it’s Call of Duty we I assume a $15 dollar price will be attached to the DLC. Also no PS3 or PC release dates we’re announced at this time.
