FINALS: Eight (Final Blog)
*December 2-8, 2019
Hey hey hey! Sad to say, this will be my final blog T.T I would be much willing to share more but as required, my blog should end here.
The last and final checking of our product before the final pitching demo. We were able to show to maāam Vida what our system really looked like and how it actually runs as a system itself. Still, there were few suggestions of features to be possibly added on the interface like where to put the advertisements, the process of payment, reviews of the product to sell, the contact/information of the seller and the overall cycle of the system.
So far, Iām so happy I can see the satisfaction in maāam Vidaās face as we explained our product. I was so relieved and overwhelmed to the point where I immediately wrote a diary about my day haha. Yeah, thatās just the alternative way on how I express myself, by the way.
To sum it up, Iām very grateful for maāam Vidaās guidance along this subject. I know it was never easy. She made herself available whenever we ask questions. I just hope that as this semester ends, everyone will be showered with happiness and blessings! More power po! Advanced Merry Christmas, everyone!

FINALS: Seven
*November 25- December 1, 2019
Oh! Itās the twelfth and final month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and is the seventh and last of seven months to have a length of 31 days. Hello, December!
Final exams are fast approaching! Schedules and deadlines are announced. Itās finally the time of the year, omg. The semester is about to end and all I could say isĀ āIām so blessed I made itĀ ātil here!ā. Well, regarding our startup update, we were supposed to show to maāam Vida the product we had, but unfortunately, when we went to her office, she had a meeting which made us unable to show her our product.Ā
But despite the obstruction and the busy schedule, we still made use of our time and finished what needs to be done. No matter how tired we were, we still believed we will make the requirements not just as compliance but as how it should be done with full knowledge and effort.Ā
āKunting push nalang!ā Have a good day po!

FINALS: Six
*November 18-24, 2019
Hi! itās so good to be back from a long rest. Yipeee! well, for this weekās update, our team focused on the buyer-seller feature of our system.Ā
As for now, our interface is partly more on the buyer part.Ā Buyers, also known as purchasing agents, are analyzers, negotiators and deal-makers. They research, evaluate and buy products for companies to either resell to customers or use in their everyday operations. Buyers are the people who determine what products get to store shelves, in catalogues, and even online.
Buyers can easily access the system because every transaction here is negotiated inside the university premises since weāre still focusing on USTP. As for the seller, they are referred asĀ the person who is selling something to someone else. In theory, the buyer could ask the seller to have a test carried out. If you describe a product as, for example, a big seller, you mean that large numbers of it are being sold.
Hmm, so far that is all I could update for this week.Ā āTil next week, again!Ā

FINALS: Five
*November 11-17, 2019 I admit that I waited for this week to finally come because I believe it's the only time where I could relax and have fun. Yeah, fifth year student feels. No update for techno. Off topic. Fieldtrip! Yeeeey. A 3 days and 2 nights educational tour at Cebu City. Let me pause for a while thesis, assignments and requirements. I thanked the Fieldtrips and Seminars subject for the opportunity. I'm so overwhelmed because of the fact that it was actually my first time to travel outside Mindanao so.. Yeah it was great! I enjoyed the tour, we visited few known companies there and had the chance to explore their establishments. Some of their tourist spots are awesome which made me want to go there again some time soon. I actually have a lot to share but I guess this page isn't enough to cover all *lol*. The experience alone is too much I could no longer put it up to words. Anyways, updates of our startup will be posted next week. Stay updated!

FINALS: Four
*November 4-10, 2019
Yeeeey! now itās time for me to show what our front end looks like. We havenāt put items yet but at least now we made sure the framework looked like what we wished it to be.
Tadaaaa!
We have few features that will be added but since our hacker werenāt able to give us some update due to some matters, this is all we could show for now. Weāre still up for interviews by the way, since we wanted this system to be more efficient and user-friendly.
Well, well, well! stay updated for my next blog :)

FINALS: Three
*October 27- November 3, 2019
This week is quite disappointing, though a lot may seem to happen well. Anyway, that doesnāt end there.Ā
Since our system is still into development and the front end has just been started and customized, this week, we focused on the backbone of our system. the back end.
The back end refers to parts of a computer application or a program's code that allow it to operate and that cannot be accessed by a user. Most data and operating syntax are stored and accessed in the back end of a computer system.
Using the surveys and interviews we had gathered, the back end is now built and finalized. Though there are features that still needs to be edited and customized, I could say that our system is finally formed and Iām so happy about this. Well, I guess this all I could share for now,Ā ātil next time!

FINALS: Two
*October 21-27, 2019
Surveys and interviews no more! finally we are now on the next level of our startup. Guess what? after putting everything that we planned and gathering the information we got into one place, we already started to make itās framework, the front end.
The front endĀ includes all software or hardware that is part of a user interface or what the user sees in the whole system. Human or digital users interact directly with various aspects of the front end of a program, including user-entered data, buttons, programs, websites and other features.
Iām so excited to add more features in this system. Got to update more on my next blog!

FINALS: One
*October 14-20, 2019
First blog on finals! Yes, midterms was quite of a challenge but here I am, starting my finals with heads up :)Ā though we were bombarded with a lot of requirements and exams, still we chose to push through. Students as we are.
As time passed by, I came to learned and understood that technopreneurship isnāt just a subject or a requirement in this semester, but a challenge and a lesson at the same time. As we started to conduct interviews and surveys, I came to realize that the effort and sacrifices we put in this is somewhat very priceless. We learned to be open and flexible upon meeting different kinds of people and dealing different kinds of opinion.Ā
Finals got us so stressed to the point we could no longer have enough sleep and could no longer eat on time. There are some considerations to take and some deadlines to meet, but I believe it will all pay the work. We will soon reap what we sow.
Itās just getting started. Iām now ready!

Fifth Blog: Presentation
The major event this week is the presentation of our startup. After finalizing everything, we presented it to ma'am Vida. How we want it to work and how we will earn. Every details were explained to ma'am and she also suggested some points that could be possibly made. She even asked if instead of a website, why not make it an app? But since our time is limited as 5th year students, it would take a lot of time to make an app, and if we could make it, we cannot assure a 100% working app just like what she suggested. We explained and she agreed right away. She loved the idea. And we'll do our best to make it more efficient.

Eighth Blog: Midterm Pitching Demo
Oh what? The big day! Go team! 10:00AM. LRC building. Main library. Discussion room. We were supposed to be the first group to pitch but sad to say, 2 of our group mates weren't able to make it on time. So we pitched second. Sweat all over. This time, we will finally face a panel. It was quite a pressure but the show must go on. I'm not sure if we explained it well enough for the panel to agree but later on, after pitching, the question and answer took place. A lot of comments and suggestions were raised by the panel. I was a bit disappointed I wasn't able to think of that in the first place. But it's okay, at least now we already have an idea how to improve our startup and what possible techniques to do in order to make it more successful. To sum it up, a thumbs up to our group for pitching it until the end *insert howl* more power to us guys! We can make it! This will be my last blog for midterm. To more blogs on finals!

Sixth Blog: Pre-pitching Demo
Guess what? It's our pre-pitching demo day! We have prepared our business model canvas where we put sticky notes on the details of our startup. I admit that we were not so prepared for this due to another busy week, we even presented late hour, but still, with God's guidance and grace we made it right at the moment. *All thanks to Him* Key partners. Key activities. Key resources. Value propositions. Customer relationships. Channels. Customer segments. Cost structure. Revenue streams. These were "just" what we have to organize and specified. It's actually kind of a pressure but hey hey hey, we won't be called students if it weren't because of "that". Realtalk. Anyways, I would like to express my warm gratitude to ma'am Vida for guiding us along this journey. To my group mates, we will not make it if we didn't work as a team, right? So I'm most thankful to you guys. *face palm* Fighting, everyone! Fighting Computer Engineering 5!

Fourth Blog: What's the Problem?
This week is the finalization week for our startup. Soooo.. Just like what I have mentioned on my last blog, we have decided to make a buy and sell website exclusively for USTP. Yeeey! *clap clap* Let me finally explain how this startup works. Simple. Students must register in order to access this website. Then they will be able to transact and negotiate through this. They are authorized to buy and sell specific school supplies they need. Like calculators, T-square, etc. How will we be able to earn? Well, 5%-10% of the price of their product will be our earnings, and advertisements will also be considered. They are allowed to buy and sell products 5 times for free, beyond that is the upgraded account where they have to pay already. That's all for today. Stay updated for my next blog!

Third Blog
3rd week. No class, but we were told to attend a seminar. Unfortunately, we weren't able to attend due to some important matters. We just took a selfie during the event for attendance purposes and rushed out chasing our time. Despite the busy day, we still managed to brainstorm for what specific problem we should find solution for. There are a lot to pay attention to, but focusin on the students of USTP, we finally had the best idea. It was actually with the help of some of our classmates who already took technopreneurship last semester. They shared common problems and ideas that might help and finally led us to pursue what we have in mind. A buy and sell website. More updates will be posted soon!
