Hi, I noticed your story has conflict in it, and I was wondering why you didn't just write people who are right doing everything correctly with a note saying "I enthusiastically co-sign everything in this story"? Must be some kind of mistake haha

Having experienced a lot of it in my 20s, I think some of the worst, pettiest, most straight up this-is-just-bullying-you're-passing-off-as-praxis incidences of Queer Infighting endemic to young people can be best understood as attempts to exercise power by people with very little power.
Like you're 22, you're queer, you've just become a Marxist, the scope of World Suck is overwhelming and you have $30 in your bank account. What can you do to feel like you have any power? Well, you can try to get your frenemy cancelled for cosplaying a character from a problematic show. You can write a public callout post over someone's obviously friendly use of a slur you don't think they technically have the right to reclaim. Doing this stuff can make you feel like you have power and your actions have an impact. Unfortunately the impact in question is a negative impact on other marginalized people. But that often takes some maturity and self-reflection to notice.

Angel Dust lays his head down from exhaustion. A warm wing billows over top as if to make him comfortable.

when you find a friends oc hot thats literally it for you. they practically own your soul. youve entered a fail state in which they can put on a sockpuppet and do a silly voice and make you swoon like youve locked eyes with a gorgeous fortysomething dyke at the bar

It's really problematic for you to post about dragon fucking. Everyone knows that humans can't consent and that dragons should be with their natural mate, the humble Ford F150 :/
man the last bit of this takes me by surprise every single time i read it. you're right though.

"How can you like these very toxic and horrible characters that have done despicable and unforgivable things?" oh it's quite simple actually, this is fiction and I think with my dick.

having fun with noise in photoshop
here are some ideas you can use in your art
lets try to add something fun to this drawing
Copy and paste this layer. Add as much or as little noise to it as you want.
using this awesome slider you can add noise to only dark/light parts of your drawing or do whatever you want. change the opacity of the layer for desired noise intensity.
Using threshold adjustment layer
Create layer with noise or duplicate your drawing again and add noise.
Using threshold layer you can do things like this. This can basically be used to create a layer mask to only select certain parts of the image (white=selected, black=transparent)
Select the whole layer and create a layer mask.
Press Alt and click on the layer mask. You have now opened the layer mask itself. Paste the layer you copied into the layer mask.
This isn't super noticeable. But you can use this threshold method to create layer masks in creative ways.
I added a color and blending mode to this and now my drawing has a subtle effect of dust.
Notice how only the light parts of the image have intense noise effect. You can use the methods presented above to do this.
