HAPPY BDAY!!!

Because I'm bad at responding to asks, right now it is 02/08/2024 (DD/MM/YYYY), the birthday that this ask relates to was on 02/06/2024 (DD/MM/YYYY) (huh I'm exactly 2 months late for my own birthday).

I'm going to schedule this for my next birthday instead which surprising absolutely no-one is on 02/06/2025 (DD/MM/YYYY).

Suprising maybe some people (because i have no idea if ill have done an age reveal by this point) it is my 18th birthday!

Let it be in my own words: I, Engineer Mohammed from Gaza, write:

My wife’s first act after the ceasefire agreement is announced will be to walk through the streets, crying.

Layan’s first act will be to visit her school, my cousin’s grave, and my uncle’s grave.

Sarah wants to stay out in the street until midnight, without fear.

Adam wants 100 shekels to buy many things and toys and to visit the beach.

And all of them want to go on a long drive in the car.

As for me, I just want to cry and sleep for a long time.

To cry for dozens of loved ones, and to sleep for the first time without fear—because we are truly exhausted.

Now, we are hearing good news about the imminent announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the entry of proper caravans for living instead of tents and our destroyed homes. There’s also news about more substantial aid being delivered and heavy machinery arriving to rebuild roads and restore life.

Additionally, there are preparations underway to hand over the Rafah border crossing with Egypt under European supervision. We hope this happens soon so that Layan, Sarah, and Adam can return to school and education after traveling.

hi, theft is literally fine if it's for art. I went to art school. my professors encouraged us to steal as part of the creative process. a lot of very famous and celebrated works of art involve theft of some kind. duchamp. lichtenstein. warhol. this extends beyond visual art and into things like musical art too, for example the popularity of sampling other people's tracks. I promise you creative theft is ok and normal and has been going on for longer than you or I have been alive. nothing in the world is truly original

I need you to understand, humans take INSPIRATION, ai takes SAMPLES. Ai will just throw things from different paintings together, but humans can put their own spin on it.

also, wanna know something that people who train ai usually don’t do? Ask. Humans will typically ask the creator if it’s okay to use certain aspects of their art, their stories. And, we credit! Even if the artists are dead, we’ll usually credit whoever we took the inspiration from. Really stupid example, but the Roblox game pressure credits multiple games that it took inspiration from, even games that don’t seem connected, like iron lung.
