hey admin! with everyone gaining some interests in superheroes lately, i want to do an interest check if anyone is interested in joining a superhero themed ocrp?

it isn't set in a specific universe but it does have the basic elements of a superhero storyline— secret civilian identities, superhero teams, missions, villain of the week. there isn't much to it yet since this is being run by a one man team ( please pray for me—)

not sure where this platform is going to be set, maybe mewe or discord? let me know your thoughts!

hey, admin! this is a very weird idea, i think, but i'm curious if other ppl would want to try it out.

the idea is having a small tumblr rp group using the submissions to send replies, but it will be posted into a new text post to keep anonymity. it will be plot-heavy and kind of like we're writing a collaborative story together on tumblr. it's also kind of turn-based, so ppl won't get ignored or lefr behind.

my primary idea for plot is either: a slasher film where ppl will try to figure out who the killer is before they all get murdered (will only happen with writer's permission or character inactivity); or a reality tv show like big brother with characters competing to win $1 million.

notice & updates!

hello little grovelings!

a few important announcements below before the weekend hits!

admin v will have limited access to internet this weekend so applications will be placed on hold this saturday 8/9 (with exception if i’m available to review beforehand and queue things)!

new activity check deadline! after this week, activity checks will now be conducted at 7:59pm gmt-6 on sundays. along with this adjustment, i also wanted to officially announce that 24 hour extensions can be requested upon ask! a few of you have reached out for these extensions in the past and i thought it would be nice to give an official notice about this so all members are aware this is an option! however, these will be limited to twice a month since there are other options available such as free activity passes or hiatuses. 

tagging activity posts! all activity related posts should be tagged with “vel:task” moving forward. whether you are creating a new post or if you are tagging a thread starter/response. please note, this tag needs to be included as one of the first five tags to show up in this tag search!

location updates! i’m very excited with some of the locations that will be added in place of open skeletons we still have. if members have any suggestions or ideas you’d like to pitch, please feel free to reach out to main or submit your idea with a little blurb, and i’ll see how it can fit into the setting or premise!

town npcs! with some of the location updates to come, i’m planning to incorporate a little more detail on some npcs around town. as an example offering a little detail about the mayor or town sheriff since there have been a few of you who’ve asked about related details for muse development. 

missing people! a list of missing people through the years will be created for more lore and world building. details about those going missing and the circumstances around disappearing will also be added!

other wip! i’d also like to begin utilizing our event adjacent blog a little more to push minor muse developments or interactions. this would include muses receiving random prompts or scenario drops. if you’d be interested in something like this, please comment below!

this has been something in the works for a few months now and we’d like to gauge some interest in what we have in mind for a literate oc rp in mewe. (not the best platform, we know, but we found that this is what our team is most familiar and comfortable with.)

basically, we’re planning to open a zombie apocalypse oc that has a lot of focus on rising tensions between the survivors living inside a barricaded city under martial law. day by day, the citizens grow more and more weary of the corrupt militia supposed to protect and take care of them. so aside from the looming threat of the undead, a far more dangerous kind of evil lurks within their walls.

the rp will have different sectors for members to be a part of (both as citizens and the militia), and we also have multiple lore drops outlined for the future to keep the overarching plot of the rp moving forward.
