the admin just kind of threw their hands up and members followed // genuine question have you only started rping on tumblr recently? because bouts like that have been normal for group rps for a very long time now, and i've seen groups thrive even after lulls in activity because the main and the members remain dedicated. the main had posted like two days before that one post and it was literally to accept a new member. and again, people were still plotting. the person who posted it even still owed replies to people who i knew were still active ooc (and thus there was a decent chance they would've gotten a reply if they'd replied). like yeah, admins have a duty to keep the dash active, but members have just as much, if not more, of an influence in the vibe of the group. going like "welp this is dead" on the dash helps absolutely no one, and i'm trying to say that in the most objective way possible. idc for whoever that admin was and im not here to defend them, i don't support admins ghosting rps and maybe they would have gone inactive eventually, but we never got a chance to see how far the group could have actually gone because that post just killed the vibe for me. i originally wasn't going say anything about it, even though a bunch of things that happened afterwards rubbed me the wrong way too, but i saw that first ask and just really strongly disagreed. tumblr groups these days already do have a really delicate lifespan, and negativity about activity (while simultaneously not writing when you *could* be either) only kills them faster. i can't believing i'm writing an essay about this but if it had been like 4-5+ days of silence on the dash, then yeah maybe i would've seen where they were coming from. but a couple of days, again literally when a new member had just been accepted? i just don't get it at all

unsure if they just have the same admin but is the new @/yuseonghq a copycat of @/mulmaluhq? the premise, application, locations, even subplots are way too similar to just be a coincidence. like even the guidelines look copy, pasted and rearranged 👀

I tried plotting with her but when it comes to plotting it's always about her muses and she disregards your own as if the world revolves around her muse/muses. I gave up plotting / sounds like her muses had bad bitch main character energy while you… didn’t :/

There were even screenshots of her lying to mods about not "having the time" to do events all because she was salty over what happened when in fact she told a few people that she didn't want to do them because of her "mood" over a muse getting into trouble. / so lgc is a group of gossiping babbling yapping hags? makes sense!

what happened to gardenhq seems to happen to every tumblr rp with a decent concept tbh. the dash starts to get a little slow and it's like the admin just throws in the towel rather than try and get things back. i get that it can be discouraging when things aren't as active as you expect, but ghosting isn't the answer 👏

and the admin had just posted an event // there had been zero activity on the main in over three days. not to check in, not to update reserves or apps. like how y'all gonna blame this on a post on the dash when no one was writing anymore, people couldn't get responses from some muses, and the main was mia and not responding even in IMs.

but then it was stated the dash went inactive by some in a post which made the vibe awk and uncomfy on the dash // jfc then just reply and ask what they mean or talk it out or SOMETHING. you guys are such children. y'all let an rp you supposedly enjoy die because they made a SINGLE post questioning activity? no blame for the admin or others. I saw one person post checking in to see if everyone was okay and they got THREE likes so something was going on.
