just to clarify - i assume you mean asking if others can submit reviews for a group that you're curious about, i.e. "how do people feel about [group]?"

comments: giving this 3 stars for potential :c agreeing with Petal Anon that some of the older members do not particularly reach out or a lot of them are more to themselves or regularly on hiatus. it is very clear as to who favors who which is fine in most settings but this is almost to a fault.. activity was very consistent and balanced between sfw and Nsfw chats when I got there and it tapered over time.. then after an influx of new members the nsfw chat was the only chat that garnered any attention. things became very Male Focused. then that stopped too.. right now things are kind of at a stand still cuz I know this is a busy time of year. the Admins are kind people, and they have created a homey space for AU muses to thrive.. it just sucks that there is an obvious lack of motivation that hangs over the RP like a wet blanket. posts still get lots of likes and comments though. it just takes a while I guess. the members are nice and every one has really cool ideas for their charas.. wish I could give this place 4 or 5 stars :/ they also turned off Anon asks which is understandable but hard for genuinely nonconfrontational people

are you currently in the group?: yes how long have you been in the group?: almost 3 weeks

comments: I've been in quite a few mewe au rps, both bad and good, and Aspaldiko is one of the best. As soon as I joined I was welcomed ooc and asked to plot/thread, which honestly makes so much difference to someone's experience, welcoming isn't done enough in many roleplays. Members make an effort to interact with as many different muses as possible, and the points system is a great incentive to be active as it grants perks (such as a second muse, etc) for doing things such as being the first to comment on an sns post or simply replying to your threads. The admins are on top of everything and you can tell they really pay attention to what's going on in their rp. They also ensure there's a power balance among muses by not allowing characters to be related to NPCs, which I personally find pretty important. All in all a really great place to be with a positive sense of community, and some great writers too. The only minor complaint I have is that the app is a little confusing in places, but it's still absolutely doable so like I said it's only a minor complaint. I'm excited to see how Aspaldiko progresses and happy to be along for the ride.

comments: The majority of older members don’t make the effort to reach out to new members, whether it’s to fulfil a desired connection, plot something or just to have muses chat as friends. It doesn’t help that the admins temporarily closed applications. Many older members already have the connections they were looking for and without other new members, it makes it hard to the current new members to find their own connections. If anyone sees this and is currently at Halcyon or has been there previously or is/has been in any other au rp, and has any advice or wants to share an opinion, I would love to hear what you have to say! (If you want to direct me, you can quote me as “petal anon”)
