Trust was given out sparingly for the vampire. Sensing Noya nearby made Krul more tense. The words ‘brother’ had sent chills. It was difficult for her to believe she was THIS close to Asura now. Everything Krul has done was for her brother. She had hoped Mahiru had kept her end of the bargain. It was all Krul had left to believe in this forsaken world. “Yes. That was part of the promise.” 

She couldn’t keep her blank face expression for long. Krul unraveled and a stank eye revealed itself. Her lips forming a pout; all displaying how much this news had displeased her. “I don’t mind cooperating, as long as you make sure HE doesn’t meddle too much.” Krul crossed her arms, it was the only thing the small vampire can do. “Just so you know, I’m only cooperating with you because of Mahiru.” But, I don’t exactly trust you.

It surprises him how fast the mask of uniformity sheds from youthful features. He cannot say he sees Krul as a vulnerable person, yet he has witnessed his fair share of slips in personae. Ashera must mean a grand amount to her, then, for such composure to shake at the mere mention of his name. 

“Yuu’s with his friends along with the Cursed Gear Ashera is sealed away in.” Far away from it all for now. Safety is but a vague wish in this world with the roles they have been given. “I assume you want to release him?”

For centuries, she had sought for Ashera. To hear that he is now within her reach, she couldn’t believe it. However, knowing that dear Mika knew of her brother’s whereabouts, brought comfort for her. “Take me to where he is.” Please. 

She tried to conceal her nervousness within her long, bell-shaped sleeves. For once, she almost froze with disbelief, but she knew she needed to move. Maybe, finally, this eternal wait is over. Her heels clicked against the floor. “I want to release him as soon as possible..” She hated how honest she could be with Mika, but he really was one of the very few she could trust.

“Ah, I see.” Well that’s a bummer... Krul felt the need to change her course of action. Not knowing what to do next did worry her since Ferid was unpredictable. Is there any way I can persuade her?  

“There’s.. been something odd going on. I thought it would be best to discuss with another progenitor.” A lie but there was some truth to it. She did NEED to discuss with him about what the humans were doing. IF he’d shed any information that is. “For now, would it be fine for you to accompany me? So that way, you can relay all the information I intended to give to him.” Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer.

"He introduced himself as Ashera Tepes." A slow blink, carmine eyes otherwise unfaltering on her. "Is that your brother?"

Ashera... Of course she knew this name well. The name struck to her nonexistent heart cords-- she made sure to engrave her memory of him to keep on moving. She pursed her lips; her face gave away all the pain. She wanted to break down and let the tears fall IF that were even possible for a sorry vampire like her. 

“Y-Yes.. I’ve been looking everywhere for him. Where is he? I need to see him, now.”
