Dorcas had just walked past where the Room of Requirement should be for the second time. She was about to do it a third time, to make the door appear, when she heard someone’s steps from another corridor. After a moment, she decided to go see and check if it was a friend of hers. Not recognizing the other girl, she realized it was one of the foreign students. “Doesn’t seem funny at all to me. Better than the ‘all of ‘exes, don’t you think?” She tilted her head. “Well, it’s good that it’s not on any map, or it would be almost useless.” She shrugged. After a quiet sigh, Dorcas nodded towards the end of the corridor she had come from, giving the girl an easy smile. “C’mon, I’ll lead you to it. It’s just around the corner.”

Natalia stifled a laugh and stepped closer to the other witch. She tried to be inconspicuous, eyes wandering across her features. Natalia was uncertain about foreign company, having heard her peers mock ‘Hoggy Warty Hogwarts’ throughout the duration of their voyage. She suspected they would be simple, but the brunette would try and get along nonetheless. “Hall of Hexes? I think that rolls off the tongue better.” Natalia smiled and followed closely behind the girl. “It’s lucky that I prefer dashing strangers over faded parchment then.”

“Supposedly,” the brunette responded with an amused tongue, “but at least their taste in music is not completely unbearable.”

“Do these… people throw parties for every occasion?” She looked around the Room of Requirement, apparently disinterested. “That would be…truly predictable.”

“I hear they have a groundskeeper and a caretaker. Presumably magic is too easy a solution,” Amalia offered with a little smile, arms folded over her chest. The castle was oddly drafty, and she wasn’t precisely pleased with wondering around it. At least Durmstrang was charmed. “It appears when it is wanted. Or so goes the invitation.”

Her brow furrowed, scarcely believing the accusation. Natalia was baffled. It seemed as though the school was denying its very purpose-- magic.  She frowned deeper, “Are you serious? That is absolutely barbaric, how on earth has this school survived?” Her frustrations switched gears, refocusing on the illusive venue. “Well, my wants are not being met. I am only attending this party to survey the competition. Though, I doubt anyone here will be worth a second glance.”

“they do seem to have a lot of funny little things going on here,” mimi agreed looking down the hallway in search of someone in hogwarts robes. “i quite liked their school song. it was funny, don’t you think?” mimi addied as an after thought, giggling. the school seemed to have it’s own quirky personality that contrasted against the classy one mimi had long been attending. 

“I would have laughed outright were it not for the professors,” the brunette agreed cheerfully, “they should consider refining their anthem.” Natalia gave a quick smile before focusing her attention on the corridor. She kept in search of the impossible room, trying to remain calm despite how tedious the search was. “Nadya said to look for a unicorn tapestry, but all of this gaudy decor is starting hurt my eyes.”

“Room of Requirement? That is an awfully funny name.”  Natalia scrunched her nose and gave a quick glance down the corridor, “How are we even supposed to find this place if it's not on any map?”

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

The Krums are traditionally an all-Slavic family, with hearty traditions that integrate with the wizarding traditions. They are a big family, but Natalia makes sure that she is never in the background.With an inclination for the athletics, her sights are more towards the Quidditch pitch at the moment, than the competition. But she is fierce as she is a team player, along with being a capable witch; an all-around favourite prediction for the year’s Triwizard Tournament.

WIZARDING BIOGRAPHY

There was something peculiar about Natalia Krum, traipsing about the manor after hours. Sleep often evaded the young female, tormented by insomnia and other terrors throughout the night. Her parents were cautious in regards to her mentality, fearful their crown achievement may become a patient at St Mungos. But, she proved her capability through physical activity. Natalia was naturally gifted on the pitch, drawn to quidditch at an early age. Literature made for good company when her muscles grew weary, although she found herself in discontent when the ending was sanguine. Her attitude was often pessimistic, but Natalia became arrogant the minute her talents were questioned. Gifted as she was, the brute struggled in social positions. It frustrated her parents further, prompting the brunette become their successor. Social grace was required for the role, and so they forced her to participate in countless affairs.

Eventually, Natalia resorted to her talent as a thespian. She devised a character capable of engaging other individuals in a social setting. Her comfort increased, able to manipulate a crowd into fancying her existence. Her smile was consistently false, but there was enjoyment to be found in engaging with those outside of her familial ties. Natalia continued her game at Durmstrang Institute, studying alongside her twin brother. Her cordial behavior extended towards everyone she met, even to those Natalia was warned not to associate with. The young witch could not help herself, infatuated with winning admiration. Her early years at Hogwarts proved satisfactory, performing highly in academics and perfecting her talents as a duelist. Natalia was content, disillusioned and under the impression that her emotions were separate from her public persona.
